Absolute brilliance, tour de force of how to set up your car for winning in live lobbies. Sooo many players concentrate on maxing out the car vs setting up winning tunes. Many cars can be set up to destroy lobbies, especially when you first get them. But the system is watching and you have to respect lobby and dyno breaches, if you breach you have to do multiple passes above both.
I love this video. It’s so very informative that I’ve watched it a couple of times. And I watched it from the very beginning to the very end. Well done Max! Love this and the veteran noob series. Please keep it going. Thank you! Pete ;”)
Good to see you back making csr2 vids pal. Your content normally is compelling and well thought out. Now for the toughest question yet... how do you figure out the shift pattern after making the changes? That's the rub.
Always start with max shift pattern and adjust from there. Sometimes they are the same. Often times depending on the changes you have to try delaying first shift or nitrous.
This is more specific and in-depth compared to Danny's vids on lobby advantage in live racing, therefore more informative but Danny's wasn't bad either😅 I originally thought that as long as you don't beat dyno time you will never ever get pushed into the faster lobbies, but it definitely makes sense that the game will detect on your current "Downshift Dyno" and relocate your lobby anyways. I have been using my Regera "CSR Edition" with a low PP high evo tune for live races for quite some time now, so far, personally I have never really paid attention to whether I was bumped into faster lobbies as I never beat my dyno, but I do come really close sometimes which does concern me. So, what I do is I change my dyno from time to time in tuning, sometimes higher evo for a faster time, sometimes lower evo for a slower time, with both situations still having the evo three times of the pp as the regera seems to maintain high evo at various dyno times. With this manual lobby switch, I can also increase the win rate of the regera as I do not have to deliberately let a player win just so that the game detects losses and **maybe** keep me in the lobby. Do you think this is effective? Or will the game remember the tune so even if I switch and go back to it after some time?
The game does seem to reset tracking when tune changes. So changing setups is helpful. But how you run the car is the main impact on its lobby over time.
@@maxthegamerOG I just run the car normally. The Regera is pretty easy to drive, when I'm ahead I slow down, not beating dyno but sometimes can come close, like 0.100s close, which is unsafe i think?
@@MusicalRainbow01 running close to dyno is fine. Beating dyno is a bad idea over time. But to keep lobby advantage you want to run that lobby's average
Max I got to race you. I was in a white Rs6 avant. Game name InsaneVL. You slowed up to much and I shot right by you. I was praying that you were live streaming it. It was last week. You had me and forgot about low end speed of that car. I loved it. Keep the videos coming. This was very educational for me. 👍🏾💪🏾❤️
On a general level, every 0.3 seconds from a solid number starting at 7.7 is a lobby. So from dyno tuning stand point. X.0, x.3, x.6 are all dyno spots. Usually x.07x x.37x and x.67x are my target dynos to start. I tend to hang out at 10.2, 10.6, 11.2, 11.6 range lobbies the most.
Hey Max. Great informative video as usual. I have been able to do this with some of my cars but seems to take a lot of trial and error. Is there a specific process you go through that makes it easier?
It is mostly trial and error unfortunately. One thing I do know is that each bracket does tend to move you out once you pass a certain pp range. However, its not always clear what the limits are on those pp ranges.
I had a dyno of 20 secs or so with the 720S but could run 11.5 or so and would sand bag the hell out of the lobby lol.....but only winning like 450 RP or so each race so......its not as fast to earn RP like the faster races but was fun for a while.
Hey max just caught you in Danny stream. I was meaning to ask you. How do you reset you car. Been losing all races for like 5 days now in t5 with my Supra. I run a 10.6
Its not that complex. The lobbies are divided by time the cars dyno. Except you can beat the computer's expectations with certain cars and match against slower dyno opponents.
@Maxthegamer I would never understand which parts to downgrade or how far to take them. So I basically live race just for the keys. When I get the keys I get out. It can take as many as 35 races. So I get my but kicked quite a bit. Thanks for the reply.

@@maxthegamerOG Misspelling on my part, i meant as you were saying there's a chance of running way faster times than your opponent it happened. I was the opponent unfortunately though.
WOW so it’s manipulation and taking advantage of other players that are ACTUALLY playing the game the right way…..makes sense now. Can’t compete with those in your appropriate bracket…..I get it
What nonsense you talking?😂 Available features are by game design. If you don't know how tuning works cars aren't for you. If you don't know how the world works better stay home Doris 😂
@Ronin_Marvin130 The general understanding is every 0.2 to 0.3 range from a solid number would be a lobby. There is no specifics from NM of course. So this is purely observational findings. What you tend to see is 10.0 to 10.2xx dynos match together. But 10.3 to 10.5xx tend to match together. Etc. When I set my cars dynos, I tend to focus on xx.2xx or xx.6xx dynos as a starting point.

This is definitely the most helpful video on this game I've seen. 💯💪🏾👑
Thanks for this video - it explains a lot! Now I just have to experiment myself and take some losses (and maybe some wins) in live...

I run Legend 250 GTO mix of Stage 3/4 with 1/4 time 10.672 & I slow it down to 10.9 or 11,it puts me in lobbies of 10.9 or 11.2
another long video with lots of information! keep the good work man

I watch all the way to the end
Max so what are the lobby numbers to tune my cars to them ? Love your videos bro your a big help🎉❤

Very good information 👍
I’ll keep driving my stock Dodge Viper.
It’s capable of doing 12.16s but all other players in the lobby’s have times around 12.3-12.6s.
The only downside is you're missing out on the RP. It is fine to still win keys.

The key to getting good rp is keeping evo above 1000. If you can downtune and have that the car will be able to do decent rp while beating dyno.
hi, where can i find tunes for cars that actually help with this?
These tunes are sometime available in videos.
Hey max just caught you in Danny stream. I was meaning to ask you. How do you reset you car. Been losing all races for like 5 days now in t5 with my Supra. I run a 10.6
You want to change setup and try to win running slower. Hard to do without teammate help. Just losing you can try going really slow.
Great video
Over my head. Only been playing a few weeks. I'll never understand that whole process.

What's the setup max?
Its from Phoenix Rising video for 11 second lobby tune.
Noo>oo dint tell everybody noooooo.

Does this work on iOS??
Lobby advantage works in the game regardless of devices. Emulators only work for android though.
Dude how do you get that match coins an keys an don't say playing cause damn

Very representative
SO basically tuning.....
As you're saying it can't happen i get taken over and beaten by a time of 10.786 when I'm hitting 12.3-12.5...
Dyno busters can easily run very fast times. It can happen. But after winning runs like that, they will likely get bumped out of the lobby.
@@maxthegamerOG Misspelling on my part, i meant as you were saying there's a chance of running way faster times than your opponent it happened. I was the opponent unfortunately though.
