The lead stories are the last ever home games for the Cleveland Browns and Houston Oilers, the eventual Super Bowl champion Dallas Cowboys making a comeback against the New York Giants, and the expansion Carolina Panthers making a playoff run.

If the only NFL you know is from the last 15 years, you'd never believe Bills-Dolphins was a marquee matchup for a whole decade.

But you know that Eagles and Cowboys never gets old either.
A little one-sided favoring the Bills, but that's due to them more often being a better team. Still, I agree Bills/Dolphins was a much watch in the 1990's, and played a handful of playoff games to boot, in case football fans wanted more of that matchup:-).
Or that Colts/Patriots was a ho hum matchup
I know right. My memories as a kid of the 90s in the AFC East was the 2nd meeting of the year between the Bills and Dolphins. Who would win the division? Who would get the higher seed or maybe even home advantage. The Patriots.....After thought.
Thank you for uploading. Serious nostalgia watching this. For some reason I had this specific episode recorded on a VHS when I was growing up. I would watch it over and over. I can literally quote this episode of Primetime lol.

19:36 It's been almost 25 years ago when the Cleveland Browns down to their final NFL season because of moving to the Baltimore Ravens... Such an emotional games of football in the mid-90's.
Alan Gamino about 4 years later the browns would come back I watched that expansion draft they had an opportunity to draft Kurt Warner and to build in the following draft around him instead they went with Tim Couch and QB carousel begun.

I remember how it felt at the time when the Browns were leaving Cleveland, it was difficult to believe. However, New Browns, you've had time now, get it together!

Half the kickers back then couldn't make it. Morten Anderson was the only guy who was aloud to try 50+ yarders regularly back then.

NFL expansion was different in 1995 than it was in 1976. Wouldn't the '76 Buccaneers and Seahawks loved to have all the free agency that the Panthers and Jaguars had at their disposal.

The 1999 Browns (re-established as an expansion team) went 2-14. Heck, we’re still waiting for them to grow out of expansion status!
It sure was different: the Panthers & Jaguars began play at the right time, when many good pros were exposed in the expansion draft and free agency was still new, and those teams signed the right kind of players for what they wanted to do.
@@tedfaas3962 As did the Texansa in 2002 and wouldn't see the playoffs for their first 10 seasons. Atleast Cleveland made it in their 4th season.

Nope he should have won a superbowl with the dolphins at least once that decade but management never got him the parts or good running backs. You can’t do it by yourself.
