It’s short, but it’s such a beautiful, emotional song. There’s a part where he mimics the sound of the Duduk. I think the song is called “Sareri Hovin Mernem” “I’ll Die for the Wind of the Mountains”.
Yes, absolutely! This song would go beautifully with another traditional folk song fro Kazachstan „ Samaltau” . None of them will likely be on the tracklist for the May concerts, but the do show you his truly incomparable artistry. These performances are a spiritual experience.

“Know” and the vocalise version(aka. “Ascolta La Voce”) shares a melody, but it’s a different kind of performance in all other aspects, with a more personal twist to the instrumentation as well(that I think Richard will appreciate). You know when an artist does a spontaneous riff/run during a live performance? It’s basically that, but a whole song of it. You’re getting to watch him “paint” with his voice in real time based on whatever he’s feeling in the moment, and it’s as fascinating as it is beautiful. I can’t really think of a better way to explain it, but it’s definitely something you should watch before Budapest.

I've heard so many artists who try to cross over into other genres, and it may be a fine effort, but it most often just doesn't really get there. DQ is the only artist I've heard who can crossover and mix so many genres legitimately.....For someone known for soaring vocals and great ballads and anthems, to change this drastically in style and to do it so phenomenally - the rap section is as great as any full time rapper, just astounding - the lightness and timing and rhythm on the MJ/QJ dance vocals is stellar!!

Yes, there is another concert version (Might be Moscow or St. Petersburg?) of "Give Me Your Love" where Dimash was dressed in white suite and with a super cool dance team behind him. I have seen complete videos of at least ten of his concerts (some more than once) and he does these songs in each of them. These are laid back, mellow ones where he doesn't use his wide range...but the songs are beautiful and emotional 😍💞💖 1. If I Never Breathe Again - he sings it for and to his dears. You'll understand when you read the lyrics 2. Mahabbat Ber Magan - kazakh song meaning Give Me Love in english, is asking destiny to give him love. Dimash normally involves his dear audience to sing the chorus with him on this one. You might enjoy that experience if you learn those lyrics... I so want to experience that and attend Dimash's concert...specially in Istanbul on his birthday but can't afford to at this time. I'm very patiently and anxiously waiting for his concert in the USA 🥰🌈🌷
I absolutely LOVE Be With Me, I think it's genius! I like Give Me Your Love, I think it's a very solid pop song. Between the 2, Be With Me is definitely my pick. Right before the fight/rap section, there is a little bass riff & the background singers come in - pure genius, the way that then leads into the slower groove, with its really weird vibe, during the fight/rap scene! There is another song called Give Me Love; completely different song, a truly beautiful ballad in Kazakh. I really love the performance from the Dimash Digital Show 2021! You should do several versions of “Know” imo. With lyrics, do new Wave 2019 (he’s in a white suit) and the official MV. Without lyrics, do the Vocalise from the Kiev concert 2020 (before the Russian invasion). It’s the one with a waterfall on the screen in background. For “Battle of Memories,” do the official MV (from a Chinese movie), and the live version from his NY concert or more recently from Macau (he’s in a pink suit). Thanks!

For recommendation what goes well with Know/Vocalize, I would say Samaltau. There are countless versions of Vocalize as he‘s doing it differently at every concert, my favourite one is still from Arnau in Kyiv. Samaltau from Tokyo Jazz festival and from the Silk Road film festival are my favourites. Looking forward to next week 🤩

There are two songs that he sings in all his concerts. I have seen complete videos of at least ten of his concerts (some more than once) and he does these songs in each of them. These are laid back, mellow ones where he doesn't use his wide range...but the songs are beautiful and emotional 😍💞💖
1. If I Never Breathe Again - he sings it for and to his dears. You'll understand when you read the lyrics
2. Mahabbat Ber Magan - kazakh song meaning Give Me Love in english, is asking destiny to give him love. Dimash normally involves his dear audience to sing the chorus with him on this one. You might enjoy that experience if you learn those lyrics...
I so want to experience that and attend Dimash's concert...specially in Istanbul on his birthday but can't afford to at this time. I'm very patiently and anxiously waiting for his concert in the USA 🥰🌈🌷

I absolutely LOVE Be With Me, I think it's genius! I like Give Me Your Love, I think it's a very solid pop song. Between the 2, Be With Me is definitely my pick. Right before the fight/rap section, there is a little bass riff & the background singers come in - pure genius, the way that then leads into the slower groove, with its really weird vibe, during the fight/rap scene! There is another song called Give Me Love; completely different song, a truly beautiful ballad in Kazakh. I really love the performance from the Dimash Digital Show 2021! Really enjoying your reactions/analyses guys!

You should do several versions of “Know” imo. With lyrics, do new Wave 2019 (he’s in a white suit) and the official MV. Without lyrics, do the Vocalise from the Kiev concert 2020 (before the Russian invasion). It’s the one with a waterfall on the screen in background. For “Battle of Memories,” do the official MV (from a Chinese movie), and the live version from his NY concert or more recently from Macau (he’s in a pink suit). Thanks!

For recommendation what goes well with Know/Vocalize, I would say Samaltau. There are countless versions of Vocalize as he‘s doing it differently at every concert, my favourite one is still from Arnau in Kyiv. Samaltau from Tokyo Jazz festival and from the Silk Road film festival are my favourites.
