Sequim Irrigation Festival 2024 - Classic Car Show and Grand Parade

Show my 1931 Ford Model A Pickup and walk in the parade with fellow CERTs...two for one! What an amazing day! The Classic Car Show parking area was directly across the street from the Grand Parade registration and gathering area. And our CERTs group was number 3 in the parade, so we were right up front!
This is the second year that the CETS walked the entire route of the Sequim Irrigation Festival Grand Parade. And this was my first year as a CERT volunteer. Also, this was the second year that showed my Model A at the Classic Car Show.
Background:
The Dungeness River is the source of precious Olympic Mountains water that transformed the parched prairie into lush farmlands. The "big day" of the opening of the irrigation floodgates was on May 1,1896.
