I've used those fir a few years now, and while on lockdown I made my own. I actually like my own better. I may have been doing it wrong, but I placed my own beads closer together, my mindset was the more beads the less weight on my natural hair. I found for myself they felt a lot more comfortable and I have less shedding when I take them out
Oh, I can't wait for the video showing how you do this yourself! I have tried twice to do these on myself and for some reason I find it harder than sewing in a weft! LOL. It's difficult for me to tighten the microrings properly when they are already attached to the weft (if that makes sense). CAn't wait to see how you do it. Thanks.
Going to give a version of these a go this weekend with my mom. They come in 12" wefts from sunny hairv off amazon but I'm not sure if i should cut them smaller or leave them long

I found a better way to do them as I found the micro beads needed to be replaced to often with this method. Thining of getting investment to launch them soon
Ok so I have a few questions regarding this method of extensions so if anyone can answer them that would be great! 1. Is this specific kind of extension a machine weft or a thinner weft with sewn on beads? 2. How many times can you move up the same beads before you have to sew on some new ones on the weft? Or do you have to buy new ones after every 2nd or 3rd move up? Sewing all those beads on a weft seems very tedious work..
Microlink wefts are premade extensions although some diy'ers have made their own. As far as maintenance you can go 4-8 weeks with these extensions before the need to reapply the extensions. It's as simple as unclamp the microlinks, shampoo and treat the hair extensions and your natural hair, then reapply. The links themselves will begin to wear after multiple installs so you may have to attach new links or buy a new set after a long while. Hope that helps.
Can you really feel these when touching the head? I want hair extensions that can lay flat so when my partner strokes my hair he won’t feel them lol my clip ins are WAY too bulky
