I relate to this comment on a fucking SPIRITUAL LEVEL.. if this doesn't happen, I *myself* will rip all of the Go Offs from every episode and make it a non-listed video for us.. it seriously helps my insomnia (it's 2:04am rite now and I'm listening to her go awfff about tomatos squirting). It's okay to ask for no egg at Ramen places! My father is a food expert with trained table manners and even he asks for no egg at Ramen places. It's a more common request than you'd think!
I also want to add that depending on the place, you can ask for the egg cooked to your liking. Or push it to the bottom of the bowl so that the yolk cooks!
Thank you and your father for sharing this info! I am always weary of trying new places and food types because of the "standards" that most dishes often come with.

The egg with ramen is usually a halved, hard-boiled egg with a slightly gooey yolk (not a raw egg) if that might help you want to try it Delta
I dont think it’s the raw factor that’s turning her off (ik it’s not raw). It’s the texture of a runny yolk

My favorite part of a corn dog is the knuckle. Note to self: If I'm EVER to have Delta over to dinner, I'm quartering any and all cherry and grape tomatoes. End of story. Oh also, I'm slicing each pea in half. Duh. If you love Delta, you'll slice the peas in half, don't be dumb.
Delta, your voice is so appreciated and needed! 1. sauté those cherry tomatoes a bit in olive oil with salt and pepper and top your salad with them! they don't really bust at that point and that roasted taste is delish. 2 we don't like peas either, but they are incredible fresh! also, mashed peas with fish and chips is fabulous! 3. favorite halloween Roseanne episode? of course the one with JAZZMUN at the lodge party.4. Happy Halloween Delta! 5. PS - ramen broth at restaurants is richly flavored already, go with someone maybe who also doesn't like the runny yolk and request yours without the egg! no one will look at you ugly! work thru your fears of special ordering something XO

Don't feel any type of way about asking for special requests, especially an egg. That would be so easy for them to omit, and what if their restaurant went under because people were all afraid to say "no egg?" They would be super sad. Do it to support them, and do it to support yourself. This is a symbiotic relationship. Healthy, and good.
So many venues nowadays say no fake blood or liquids, every show, not even around Halloween. Or glitter! We would do it if we could.

The struggle with meat is real. It’s the whole it poops from there and it’s got blood running through it’s veins for me. It all gets to be too much and I just go off it for months at a time.

a typical ramen joint has a soft-boiled egg with a more cooked center (though still a little "jammy"). However its completely optional. You mostly see a raw egg a lot of home made ramen recipes to add richness. If you don't want the egg, simply ask for the ramen without one! Very normal thing! Please enjoy ramen!!

I live in Florida, and recently worked for Instacart. The cooks down here use Roma tomatoes whenever they're making homemade salsa. They must be the best. I don't particularly like tomatoes unless it's in salsa or like sauce for pizza or pasta. But, shopping for others, I pickup what other people do.

You’ve got to go to Hiro Nori Ramen, they’ve got one in Santa Fe Springs. The egg is AMAZING and more of a soft boiled egg but you can put the whole egg on the side regardless. Best ramen spot.

Also the other day I was at the DMV having my car inspected and I was standing there thinking "this poor guy has to smell everyone's gross car seat after they've been sitting in line for two hours. I hope mine smells like perfume. Maybe I should start perfuming my ass". Now I have a word for it. Chair air. Makes me think of this Tiktok of this old lady driving her Granddaughter somewhere, and the Granddaughter turns on the seat warmer, and the Grandma says, "we're not having a fish fry in here".
Not all ramen comes with an egg! And with a lot of (most?) ramen places they're used to modifying the order as they always have a list of 20+ other toppings they'll try and upcharge you on anyways

Onion reminds me of skin, unless cooked to mush. Like, I would rather die than eat it. It has to be something tugging on me from a past life, because it has zero relevance to this life LOL
