When 2024 started, i planned to read 12 books, but some of them took me more than one month to complete and now i am reading my 8th book which is "At the Existentialist cafe" by Sarah Bakewell, it talks about the life and ideas of many Existentialist writers...very interesting ❤

It's great to hear about your reading journey this year! It's wonderful that you're finding the habit of reading interesting.
Though I didn't read the book "At the Existentialist Café" but reviews say that it's one of the thought-provoking books. Sounds fascinating. Happy reading :)

I have encapsulated 8 seminal works in the past 26 days
    Siddarth
    Brave New world
    Metamorphosis
    Palace of illusions
    Thousand splendid suns
    Heart of darkness
Upside down king by sudha Murthy
    Meditation by marcus Aurelius
Any recommendations that can improvise my language skills further and give it a refinement ✨

      Impressive reading list!
For language skills and refinement, try "The Elements of Style" by Strunk & White for writing,
You can also read books that are small in number of pages. Like Anita Desai, RK Narayan. I read those novels that were small and in UGC-NET PYQs. That helped.
George Orwell's "1984, Passage to India, Things fall apart. They are quick reads.

It's impressing to know that you are a reader. You've read a lot, which helps, but there's always more to learn in literature. Keep reading. You can now work on writing or speaking. Generating some income stream. That may help. :)

50-50 chance... Still prepare for the next attempt or you can also develop some habits that can contribute to listening, speaking, reading, and writing in your free time.

That's great to hear you're enjoying "The Oath of the Vayuputras" by Amish Tripathi! I have read Shiva Triology. Amazing work. I sometimes wish I had more free time to enjoy reading books. It would be nice to have those peaceful moments where you can relax and get lost in a good story.

Wuthering Heights is really a boring novel. I read the novel about 4 times but i cannot remember the events properly

I like reading the book, but it was pain for me to read James Joyce "Portrait of Artist as a Young Man" I tried reading it twice but then gave up. Still there are plenty of other great books out there to explore. It's okay not to enjoy every classic. :) :)
