Tip no. 1 is the one I need to focus on more. I am always so keen and hasty to sow that it sometimes results in failure. Trust Mel to have this one covered :) Last frost for me in South Yorkshire Uk is late April (according to online sites), but that seems too early. I might get advice from the local plant nursery just to be sure. PS I love the bonus mistake lol
I am going to start my tomatoes, peppers and egg plant in a day or two. I am in Oklahoma 7a and in the process of building some raised beds for a market garden.
@@SmallGardenQuest I have not measured them but I am guessing that they are around 4 feet wide by 12 feet long. I am using trees so the logs dictate the size. Here is a link for some Cherokee Purple seeds. www.burpee.com/vegetables/tomatoes/tomato-cherokee-purple-prod000984.html
@@SmallGardenQuest Yes, I made some 12' x 4' raised beds late last fall. I'm making compost so I will be ready this spring. I used to just till and plant into the ground. Thank you!

Nice. How big do you plan to have your raised beds? When is your last frost date?
