Sera from @StaplesandVine was one of the key figures in organising the show. And me, being a derp, forgot to mention that key point. Sera hard work made for such a brilliant day. Also, go check her channel !
No problem @@lpjmodels you know I'm totally chilled about it. Seriously, thanks for your input and putting on such a cracking display. See you at the club. 😎😎
It was a great show James, loved the 2 hall set up, and spent much more than I planned! Would like a couple more trade stands selling kits although it is tight space :)
That was a great show. I particularly liked the figures and the superb figure painting. Back in the late 90's I had a couple of those 1/6 scale RC tanks - great fun. I must say though that I thought the piece of chocolate cake was the winner - super realistic - only joking thanks for posting the video
I think I need therapy. I don't like watching these 'model show' videos as I find them depressing (I don't stand a chance of achieving the quality of any of the builds!). But I find myself drawn to watching them. Am I a masochist? Probably, lol! The stand out model for me was the Lightning. Only because I spent some very happy years working on them on 11 Sqn back in the early 1980s. What to do now? I can either go & buy myself a new model to cheer me up, or buy a colouring book & crayons instead. Mind you, I'd probably colour outside the lines if I did that!
Thanks Steve ! The lightning at the end with the drip trays and gubbins showing? That was an impressive build. Show videos aren't my usual thing. But being local I thought I'd make this one up for folks to see
Wow, like the modeling trifecta of UA-cam fame at the show with the three of you there. Do you guys charge appearance fees? 😉 Enjoyed all the Star Wars stuff and that EF9 Civic about the 10:50 mark. Thanks for sharing coverage for those of us in the wrong country.
No problem mate ! Scale model Shed was there as a Trader and Staples and Vine is our club Chair, they were too busy to get in on the UA-camr shenanigans
All the still photos look great. There are some awesome models! Thanks for sharing. Should RC cars, tanks, and airplanes be part of a model show? I'm not so sure they qualify as models. Don't they fit more into the catagory of a glorified toy that goes round and round. I know there is a lot of work that goes into them. Anyway, that's just they way I see it.
I think so, it's all just toys at the end of the day. And the bigger the community is, the better. Lots of people in the local club enjoy models and RC. And it's fun. Why turn away an audience ?

@@StaplesandVine I'm really sorry ! I did it all after I got back and I think the tired zombie brain got to me!

Looking forward to your next build James
Won't be long now

I think traders are still sounding it out. I really wanted some yellow laquer.
Frome I think pulled out sadly
