Great Vidio... I have put hot dog or hamburger bun in the microwave with a piece of paper towel wrapped over the entire bun for about12 seconds.... Work's good!
Thank you so much as you were giving us the information I followed right along because I actually got more hot dog buns then I need it and that is because I really love brioche buns and the particular kind I like are at Aldi's I have tried many different brands but the ones at Aldie are the perfect brand and I love them so I got two packages knowing that I only have one package of hotdogs for just me myself so this was really great to hear about and I will be doing this next time I have to purchase more than I need so I will have enough next time thank you so much sweetie!
Bread these days are typically made in extremely sanitized environments and as a result can usually last upwards 2 months without getting mold as long as you do not open it and touch it. The moment you touch it, it's contaminated and will get mold in a few days unless stored in a fridge or better, the freezer. Which is probably why the school experiments got moldy after a few days ;)
How did you use your thawed out buns? You didn’t Finnish the process. How did you make the buns not soggy or toasted ? What’s the finished product look like?
We use our thawed out buns the same way we use fresh ones, for burgers etc. The buns are not soggy when you thaw them out, they are just like fresh although sometimes they are a bit crumbly, but not enough that it is off-putting. The thawed bun looks just like a fresh bun. You can toast them if you prefer or just eat them thawed out just like you would a fresh bun.
Bread stays fresher now because they use more and newer tech preservatives, unhealthy tho. They also undercook the bread just a tad to maintaun a little more moisture so it doesnt dry out as quickly.
If you stick a paper towel in with you bread it helps absorb any moisture that will increase mold growth.
Thanks!!!
Thanks for the tip, I am going to give it a try because like you said (even more so two years later) no one can really afford to throw away food.
You are so right Sean!
