His batallian started with 210 and after a gun battle with the enemy only 33 Marines were left that were alive and uninjured. That evening my dad Heard this song on the radio in Vietnam. Hello Gary, I too have loved this song for many years since watching the excellent film with Peter O'Toole as Don Quixote when I was about 14. It's become my life's anthem in many ways. I only just found Josh's version and it's made me cry as always as it's such a heart filling, hopeful song. I'm very sorry to hear of your cancer. I'm currently caring for my mum who has been diagnosed with breast cancer but we're using that wonderful quality of hope to get through it. I sincerely hope that you too find the strength and love you need to carry on fighting those foes, as after all, they are only as real as we make them.
Thanks for the encouragement. Just got back from Vanderbilt University Hospital after a week of more testing. Seems like a long process but they are keeping me in remission with maintenance Chemo treatment. I’m ready for the big one!!! BMT-Bone marrow transplant.

Ally McBeal was a wonderful show I used to watch with my mother. When Josh Groban was on that show in 2001 my mother and I were blown away. Ever since then I have been a fan of his voice. He gets me in times of worst and times of happiness. Every time he sings I end up crying. One of my parent’s friends went to see him live and said he was wonderful. Another beautiful song.
That show was where I first heard Josh as well. My jaw dropped just like Ally's. I had to find out who this kid with the voice from heaven was. Huge fan and a few concerts and cd's down ever since. That kid is now a grown man with so much talent and love to share. You make this mom so proud.

I remember when this song was released from the movie, I was 12 or so and I somehow have always connected with the lyrics. Josh Groban, you’re rendition is absolutely breathtaking. That show was where I first heard Josh as well. My jaw dropped just like Ally's. I had to find out who this kid with the voice from heaven was. Huge fan and a few concerts and cd's down ever since. That kid is now a grown man with so much talent and love to share. You make this mom so proud.

I remember when this song was released from the movie, I was 12 or so and I somehow have always connected with the lyrics. Josh Groban, you’re rendition is absolutely breathtaking. When I was 6 years old, he had a motorcylcle accident and he went on to pursue his “impossible quest” in the after-life, leaving the 8 of us siblings for our Mom to raise alone. It seems we have become his “impossible dream” in that he might still be helping us while being absent physically. Your rendition transports me back to my childhood days when he used to carry me in his shoulders.
