George town Penang is where my beautiful mother was born 83yrs ago. Shes in hospital ill at the moment so will show her your video to help her remember her birthplace.😊
Hello from CA. Penang" luar biasa" w/ great hawker food stalls on atmospheric streets. Many expats love Penang as visa easier than Indonesia. I love Sarawak and Siniawan Bau. Went to Berkeley with many Malay/Chinese students and they all returned home. Adventure awaits u in Malaysia!
Penang is my favourite place I stayed at Feringi Batu I had a swim 🏊♂️ and massage at Batu Beach ⛱️ 😎 and good food in Georgetown shopping centres in 2018.
Wow, I'm from Penang too. Now I at Bali, has been Bali 7 years. Talking about my hometown, there's a lot more to visit. I stay in canggu right now, you have been introduced all the Bali and I'm surprised that you in tour at Malaysia.
Kedah should joint penang as tourist center.hope kedah goverment will joint as many chinesr tourist keen on kampung style n malay food n river in kedah
I don't know why tourists like to go Gurney Drive food court and New Lane. The food is average at best and the price is double at best. It is where the hawkers go for the kill when they see tourists. Money money come
Hi Damien. It all looks fantastic. You are having a very busy trip!. Just got home from Bali & had a great time. Sad that I missed you both , but next time. See you tomorrow!!!.
Before pandemic theres a lot of promos to visit penang, i could spend less than 100 dollar for weekend in penang included food, 2 night hotel room and return flight Penang - Indonesia, it so cheap.
Hey Dame, I’m interested in travelling to Malaysia for the culture but my partner as you know is Indonesian and she turns her nose up to the idea. Is it just her or do most Indonesians not like Malaysia? She claims they steal all of Indonesian recipes and claim it as their own or something lol
@@alexlee2765 Well obviously not all of the Malay race descended from Sumatera. The Orang Asli (indigenous) were the original proto Malays of Peninsular Malaysia, having their original ancestral land in Gua Musang area, Kelantan (however the Orang Asli tribes are also spread throughout the whole of Peninsular Malaysia). Also the Malays of Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah (oldest Malay kingdom during Kedah Tua era), Perlis & Pattani (most of Southern Thailand now, which used to be under the Malay rule long ago before being taken over by the Siamese Kingdom) were the original Malay inhabitants at their respective lands. Their food and original culture is not the same as Indonesia. Malays are also descended from Johor Malaysia, which used to rule over the whole of Riau islands (which now belongs to Indonesia). While Indonesia has a majority of Javanese culture, Malaysia is mainly Malay. But of course the Nusantara archipelago in ancient times allowed for the amalgamation of cultures between non existent borders of that era. Also during ancient times, a huge population of Javanese and Sumatran Malays migrated to what is now known as Malaysia. Don’t forget the existence of East Malaysia as well (Malaysian Borneo), which has their own culture and foods, and in my opinion, much more exotic, vibrant & open minded people.
Great tour really enjoying Malaysia ✅
Thanks 😊

Hahah bro I prefer not to say anything here publicly about this topic, rather sent me message on Instagram
@@TheMonkeys haha. I’m intrigued to see if any Indonesians comment about this. Unfortunately, I don’t use Instagram lol
hahahahaha indonesian claims they own everything s in this world. Even the malay language they claim Bahasa Indonesia.
@@alexlee2765 mmm, to sum up Malaysia isn’t as authentic as it used to be. If I want to see the real culture, it would be best found within Indonesia?
