- Here's the High-Grade 1/144 scale Guncannon Mobility Test Type/ Firepower Test Type. I've gotta say I really love this kit! I liked the HG The Origin Guncannon First Type, but this kit gives your more options, bigger guns, and that awesome yellow color!

these Guncannons are like showing the in between evolution gaps from Guntank to Guncannon to Gundam which is interesting.
Actually, in the OVAs the Guncannon and Gundam were shown to be developed in parallel. The team behind the Gundam were just more inspired and included a disciple of Dr. Minovsky.
wasnt rhs RX77 guncannon able to fight well against zakus?
i wonder if there were Zeeks that fough the RX76s and were completely taken by surprised by the RX77s capabilities

Do I believe gun cannons are better than the gundams no because in the origin they wore a mess produced and handed out however the second these guys were defeated they were immediately dropped but I do like the manipulator design and the weapons so basically I like the design and the story plot
The Origin line has been overall fantastic. I wasn't sold before for the Guncannon, but I'm really considering it now. I hope it continues as a line after the movies like some sort of MSV series for 'Origin' version suits. Awesome review!
Always Crashing There's an entire manga they can take designs from. The Origin movies only cover like 20% of the story, it covers the whole One Year War.
Yasuhiko's Origin retell does have some great designs in it, but I feel like the OVA appeals to wider audience.
Bandai might take a chance and do more from the manga that don't appear in the OVA, less of the prototypes and more of the final variants.
That's because The Origin MSD and OVA suits are designed by Ka.
They really do compliment each other well.

The prototype Guncannons are alright but the Mass Production Guncannon is my favorite Guncannon design. These guys have a nice flair to them.
That's why the Ball and Loto twin packs exist! We need twin packs in this cases like in IBO's 1/100 Gusion/Rebake.
No the Gusion/Rebake should have been separate kits,but I get what you're trying to say. Also they technically aren't "Twin" kits as there is only one frame for either model.

I was going to get a Origin Guncannon (since I wanted a alternative to the original, even though it is still cool). But the head alone sells me lol.

I know I'm a couple years late, but I just picked up the guncannon first type recently and there is an articulation gimmick missing here. The construction of the waist has the forward polycap connection, but there is also a moving lever or arm piece that built into the lower half that allows the torso to be pulled up a great deal and allows the kit to bend way back. It gives the suit the ability to pose in a push up position with the cannon facing a forward target. The overall articulation improves a bit as well

Guncannon with a V-fin looks really good
Never really was a fan of cannon fodder mobile suits with the exception of the Serpent/Scorpion suits from Gundam Wing EW. but ever sense getting my first HG Guncannon, I've found a new love and respect for cannon fodder kits. Even got myself a Graze after seeing all of the IBO kit reviews. Funny considering I've yet to get a Barbatos of any form. lol
Hey I've got a good one for you to do, it's a little old but I just got one and it's FANTASTIC! It's a Legend BB Command Gundam. It's an awesome kit, especially for an SD! I know you're not a big fan of SD's, but this is an exception. It's got a lot of great gimmicks, and the color separation is awesome. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it!

'm thankful to have lots of spare hands so I'm gonna lose the claw grabbers. They just look and feel out of place. Always keep your spare parts. 🤣

Uh Aurelius, those ARE the Guntank Cannons, I'm almost certain they are the exact same runners and everything.

ZakuAurelius I'm pretty sure it's also the same for the Machine Gun arm, it being a recolor of the Origin Early Type's own arms.
On that note, does the shield rotate at all?
I'm always tempted to get two of a kit to make them SYMMETRICAL, and I'm wondering if one couldn't clip a shield to the Machine Gun Arm.
Nope the Guntank cannons are bigger.
Axis95 The Cannons are the exact same as the ones on the Origin Early Type Guntank, as there is no way Bandai would waste money on a scale down version of an existing runner.
The Auto Cannon Arm on the other hand IS a slightly different build due to how the joints on the Guncannon work, but still unfortunately has a "Handedness" via what I assume is an ejection port on one side.
+Donald Witt No Axis is right in this one. The runners are totally different.
Do u know what is the best combination colour if tamiya for this model.. I want to Paint but still don't have clue for the best yellow that suits this model 🤔🤔🤔
You've probably already worked out a good colour to use, but I recommend TS47 'Chrome Yellow'.
It's a nice vibrant yellow (it's not actually chrome).

Dies the firepower gun hand fit on either arm? Im thinking of ordering 2 kits and making one with both gun hands and 2 vulcan guns for a bullet hell guncannon.
can the crane claw hands hold other uc/hgbc weapons?
might be a little tight or loose depending on the exact size, but it should be able to.
i wonder would Bandai would make the units 01 and 02 as they have or 1 of them has the normal hands
