I just visited the lake last evening. I was about 1/2 way to the damn when a lightning storm descended upon me and dumped for 20 minutes. Made for a cold/windy sunset and turned the fish bite right off. Still I fell in love!
Have a question about access to the lake. Is the GA side paved all the way to the ramp? I've seen a couple videos but looks like it use to be 4WD and now maybe paved? Thanks.
we use to put in at the damn. just carried our boats down the old ramp. the road in that way was always good plus you can fish yonah which is the next lake in the chain.

the last time I was in there earlier this year 2020 it was not paved on the Georgia side... the other side is paved all the way down
