Great video! I have the Weber Summit charcoal grill center. It’s amazing! You can cook low and slow or screaming hot with it. Those ribs look delicious. I also like the Cosmos rubs, especially the killer honey bee rub.
Thanks man! I love my Summit. It really hurt my feelings paying for it, but I would do it again in a heart beat! I would definately pick the Summit over a kamado joe or BGE (I also have a Kamado Joe).
@@littlepigbarbeque9756 I'm trying to make this decision myself, why the Summit over the Kamado Joe? I hear the Summit feels flimsy, I've seen the Kamado Joe's in person. Unfortunately nobody has the Summit on display to check out before purchasing.
The summit isn’t flimsy. At least mine isn’t. I love it. The real estate is huge. Temp control is amazing. I’m a Weber fan, and I think they knocked out of the park with the summit.
To be honest, it's not 100% accurate but I have yet to find a stock thermometer on a grill that is. What I do know is that it runs consistent each time. In other words, I know on mine that if the dome thermometer is reading 275, then the grate level will be about 250. Its all about learning the pit and how it likes to run.
"If the ribs are crooked, they will cook cooked"- never thought about that. How do you like your Summit? I am considering one, just can't get past the price. Good vid.
I absolutely love the summit. I had to think awfully hard about pulling the trigger on it, but here is how I could justify it. It cooks EXACTLY the same as any good kamado (big green egg, kamado joe, primo etc). However, it's a weber. It will last forever if taken care of. Never have to worry about cracked ceramic. Much easier to clean. Much easier to control temp. It uses briquettes just as easily as lump. Dont get me wrong, it is extremely expensive. Not once have I regretted getting it for that reason. Get one. Thanks for the comment! Over time I plan to put out more videos with it!
FirebrewTV . The Weber Summit is worth every penny. I went with the charcoal center with the attached table. I’m not sorry one bit. Been using it a year now and maybe will do a video on it since there a very few new ones out there.
Jay Booth pulled the trigger in May- my COVID purchase. It is a killer grill, I love how easy it is to control temperature. I think Weber needs to market it better.
@@littlepigbarbeque9756 Hi! Did you edit the music? I came back to this video later and the music wasn't near as annoying this time around! Again, great video! I also got the WSCG and absolutely love it. My only critique is when I have to move the charcoal grate up and down, up and down depending on what I'm cooking! :p Trying this method right now. Cheers!
I really appreciate you checking out the video! I have absolutely no experience with video editing, so I'll take all of the pointers I can get! Hopefully, they will get better with time. Anyway, the Summit...do yourself a favor and get one. I have several cookers and if I could pick just one, it would be the Summit. Honestly, it is the most versatile cooker I have ever used. @@littlepigbarbeque9756 Already subscribed. I LOVE that blue kettle too...I got the premium kettle in the dark green color myself, the $165 version....only b/c it matches my Weber Genesis in the same color. I wish I knew that the master touch was available in that blue man that is NICE!
Thanks for taking the time to make a very informative video!
Great 👍 job on your first video! Ribs looked excellent!
Dude! those turned out amazing. Kosmo (and Weber) do good work!
Kosmos is pretty dang good. The summit just makes it really fun lol
Baby Back Maniac , Justin, watching all the videos you did on the Weber Summit sold me on this grill! Thanks! Hope to see some more soon.

Thanks for watching!
3 rd or 4th video I watched of yours to day. All were great!! Do a brisket soon. Ever try a Pit barrel cooker??
I'll definately be doing a brisket at some point! Thanks for the suggestion. I do have a pit barrel. It's a rib cooking machine and really fun to use.
good job!
Thanks for watching!
In your experience- how accurate do you find the built in thermometer to be? I’ve heard good and bad.

So why didnt you use any wood to smoke?

Great video! Very informative. ... That music, tho... 😣
Thank! This was one of my first videos. Hopefully I've made some progress on toning the music down a bit.
