The Mad Genius of Rapture: The Twisted Tale of Sander Cohen | FULL Bioshock Lore
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 чер 2024
- Sander Cohen is one of Bioshock's most twisted and sadistic characters. His actions made great waves to the foundation of Rapture and its population where Fort Frolic became the centre of art in the underwater utopia - but, behind the stunning pieces of art were dark secrets and tortured souls that eventually led to the dreaded Quadtych.
What brought him to Rapture, what atrocities did he commit, and how does his story end? In this video, I explore the lore and story behind Sander Cohen in Bioshock with TheBioshockHub.

I hope you all enjoyed the video! It was a pleasure to create this video with you and here's to future Bioshock videos as well!
ok
Thanks man! It was great working with you!
Thank you for telling more people about one of my favorite characters in bioshock!
I don't think Cohen started out as evil, but that he had the capacity or predisposition for it. Without the typical constraints imposed on him by the surface society he lived in, he was able and encouraged to take is artistic ideas to their extreme and create with them.
Very well said - and I think I agree
Please don't call me out like that (I and Cohen have that part in common, with the difference being I don't have a "Rapture").
I’ve noticed that “artistic” types need constraints placed upon them more often than not. The artistic mind is inclined to chaos. Most self-regulate and don’t become an issue, but an environment that has no constraints, it is easy for bad things to happen.
Fort frolic is one of the most memorable locations in bioshock.
I am still mad that your videos get a couple thousand views, they deserve hundreds of thousands if not MILLIONS of views.
Hope your channel gets more clout and that people watch them because they are top tier and very informative
I just had to look. 57k subs? I thought he had a few hundred thousand at least.
It's a little frustrating. My Half-Life videos perform really well, but whenever I post something different to Portal/ Half-Life - then the algorithm just doesn't push them out. I'll just continue to make videos until the algorithm changes.
Thanks for watching :)
@Skyrionn true I'm a massive fan of you. I'm just now seeing this vid
"I want to take the ears off!" My favorite audio diary by far. This man is truly the art patron.
100% agree! His diaries were pretty haunting
The Wild Bunny is the name of that audio diary
>Sofia Lamb
>Well written
Are we thinking of the same character? Because as I remember Sofia, she was a retconned cardboard cutout of a character with zero charisma. Yet, the game treated her as if she is on par with Andrew Ryan, forming her own cult, acting all 'smart'.
I cringed every time she spoke. 'Delta, here, in Rapture, we are all big family full of love. You are an ugly monster. Nobody loves you. Go off yourself!'
Yeah, very welll-written.
Didn't know you were doing Bioshock lore videos. Big fan of your HL2 lore videos!
I've posted a few over the last year or so - there's even a timeline :D
Thanks for watching!
The colab was great! That detail about the caricature of Ryan's songbird, with Cohen's likeness on it made me laugh. That's humour in world building for you.
It was great working with TheBioshockHub and I'm sure there will be more in the future.
Bioshock's world is perfect and it's why we love to visit Rapture/ Columbia - even if they're dangerous.
Wild to see this!
I actually only discovered both your channels this month, so this is such a welcome surprise to watch!
I'm subscribed to both. Keep up the awesome content!
Perfect timing then! TheBioshockHub has a lot more Bioshock content than I do too!
Sanders area has always been my personal favourite in bioshock
I think it's one of my favourite areas in Rapture too!
Beautifully done!
Thank ye!
I would pay for you to do a Gummy bear review.
Why and how are they evil?
The famous sugar free Gummy Bears that Amazon sells and the famous reviews of them that sound like a thriller novel.
I would love to see how creative you could be with that concept.
Cohen takes me down the uncanny valley & I love that vibe from him. Genius & insanity often skip hand in hand down the Asylum's halls.
Skyrionn, and i thought your Half-Life videos were good. You never cease to surprise me i love it so much
There are so many games I love and I'm slowly getting around to covering them. Thanks for the constant support Dominic.
I'm still technically new to all the lore of bioshock so I thank you for this video, I also want to thank you for the Fable lore videos you made as well, I've seriously been binge watching them 😁
Have a good day and stay safe out there friend.
Thanks for being on this journey! We'll return to Fable eventually too!
Back at you - stay safe :)
Well done, gentlemen!
And personally I usually leave Sander alone
By the way Collab is a great fit for you, I'll sub to TheBioshockHub too
Yes! Thanks Cody. TheBioshockHub was great to work with. I'm sure there will be other collaborations in the future.
Great ✨✨ 🧡🙏🏼
Sad to see you haven't got a huge amount of views on the chanel again lately
It took a little dip but it happens I guess :P
@@Skyrionn Yeah shame but still glad to see you're pumping out great content
He's just straight out Salvador Dali.
Yeah!
Nice
Thanks
I had an art teacher with the same name, though this guy looks more like Dahli
Excited to see bioshockhub tomorrow on here, great crossover
He was really great to work with! We'll be working on something for his channel next!
it's wierd hearing Triage At Dawn on a non half-life video lol
haha! I know right! It sounds great as the ending music as I wrap everything up and I just haven't found anything to replace it.
💕
New game?.... oh no... They're gonna fuck it up...
"I'm Sander fucking Cohen!!! "
Did he....PLASTER people?
More
There’s gonna be a new game?
Yeah - it's being developed by Cloud Chamber. We're just waiting for more information to come out!
@@Skyrionn I hope it’s good
first?
edit: thanks for another masterpiece!
Close to first haha - thanks for the continued support.
Would you kindly!
I'll never tire of that phrase! It always takes me back to my childhood.
Back to back unskippable 15 sec ads
I'm sorry you had to go through that.
@@Skyrionn not hatin on ur channel youtubes just ugh lol
I let him live only cause I could never manage to kill him
It was a difficult fight
Eh, don't really like the bioshock hub, he's got this mentality that just because he's a bioshock youtuber his opinion is somehow worth more lol, but another great vid as always, I get hyped anytime I see a bioshock video despite knowing it in and out
I got many Bishock games for free, but i never like to play with. Good concept to hear, but for me... not to play.
Enjoy these videos then ☺ the lore is so amazing
First!
Congrats!
