Matrix 9 to MatrixGold The Gem Placer command

- In this video we will design a signet ring the old fashion way and use the Gemvision MatrixGold and Matrix 9 Gem placer to add stones in a pave type design. This command is not Dynamic and is really made just as an easy and fast way to layout your stones in a patten that suits your design. I hope it helps you in your designing endeavors and if it does, I cannot tell you how excited I get when I see a new subscriber a like or a comment. If you are just starting out in 3D printing, I would recommend going with one of these printers at a low cost and get familiar with the printing and adding supports and then maybe level up to a faster and higher priced printer. Hello. I have a question. Matrixgold 2.2 doesent have gem placer?
Yea, I believe that was in the MG 3 updates.
And do you beleve matrix 9 is more complete than matrix gold 2?
I really liked M9. But with the dynamic history and other new features MG is much easier. It’s not that they remove a lot of commands they just are used in different ways. I also know in future updates they are bringing back several of the things that frustrated the M9 people. All in all I have really grown to like MG but it did take awhile for me to get use to it and understand it. With the discontinuation of updates and support on M9 which really upset me there isn’t really an option. MG will be the Industry standard for the future. So I just went ahead and took the hit. Hope that answers your question.
