  • A short walk around at Vinh Trang Pagoda (Vĩnh Tràng Temple) in My Tho of the Nakong Deltra Region in southern Vietnam. The temple stands on about 5 acres in the village of Mỹ Hóa. The temple grounds also has ornate gardens and several fruit trees that are tended to by local monks.
Building the Vinh Trang Temple initially began in the early 1800's and was completed by 1850. However a lot of damage was inflicted during battles with French forces soon after and the Buddhist temple fell into disrepair until 1890 when it was renovated. There have been several subsequent renovations since.
