Justin is still the same as he was when I used to listen to the Moody Blues half a century ago.
Justin is such an underrated guitarist. He’s every bit as good as a lot of guys who are considered “guitar gods” but I think his voice and songwriting overshadow his talent as a player.
Justin is completely fabulous 🌟
He definitely was underrated in playing the guitar, as a matter of fact, the whole band was underrated. They were fantastic as The Moody Blues! Something was wrong with the music industry. I love their music! 👏👏👏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Justin Hayward is a great guitarist he is overlooked in his mastering of the guitar 😊😊😊
Hands down one of the best song writers of the century. Ive loved the moody blues for 50 years
Justin is the king with a guitar. His guitar is always heard. But he doesn't let the guitar take over as the lyrics and the other band members are just as important as he himself is a professional.
Happy 75th birthday Justin!! I hope you rock on for many more years to come!! You are simply the best!! 💙💙
Bravo Wonderful!!!
Excellent music, Justin Hayward. Master guitar player, songwriter, musician.
Awesome drum solo!!❤
Great lively solo performance from you, Justin, of this, Moody Blues song, The Story in Your Eyes, your guitar solos are superb. 🎸🎵🎶🎵 drum solo by Gordy Marshall is an added bonus ⭐💕 awesome performance throughout 💕⭐👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
❤❤❤ Justin & all MB members
So beautiful hearing Justin Live... Brilliant drumming by Gordy Marshall!! 😊 ❣️ 👍❣️👏
most underrated , song writer , guitarist, singer, cant find them in order, most talented
Amazing Icon ..Justin Hayward has beautiful eyes. I always loved when they did the guitar 🎸 but him and John would go across stage and play.
What a way to start the Holiday Weekend👏👏👏
💙🎶🎶🎶Absolutely Fantastic🎶🎶🎶💙💙
Excellent
Justin in my true Angel Warrior he is my favorite singer/songwriter first saw in St. Louis 1969 and met in 1993. I meet you in the dream State all the time!
Had this gig on a VHS for years. Now I can download it onto a CD. Happy days!!
Whoa..just when I'm typing up the beginnings of my second book of The Liam Niles Mysteries, a Justin- inspired fiction series, this pops up on my email. God indeed loves me!
And the Sunshine we've been waiting for
What a fabulous guitarist.Saw them live in Monaco.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
And the drummer...not bad at all👍👍👍👍👍
Great solo performance of this Moodies song Justin with added drum solo. Love the guitar intro and interlude was a fab performance. 💕👏👏👏👏👏
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT MY DARLING......😇🙏💖🐦💐💐💐💐💐💐
Fantastic - have a good tour Justin and I hope we’ll still be able to see these weekly wonderful songs. 💕
Absolutely, a wonderful night of excellent music at the Coach House.
Hayward is a proper musician and paved the way for guitarists like Howe and Hackett, he is best described as the guitarist who made the bridge between Rock Blues. He was the first guitarist I heard using different tunings for effect, shredding on the "Higher and Higher" track on To Our Children's, Children's, Children 1969 and using zipping or the Mike Pinder tune guitar solo in "How is it we are here" on A Question of Balance 1970.
And there is little doubt he is the best rock acoustic guitarist.
The best concert my wife and I ever attended was seeing Justin Hayward up in Big Bear Lake CA of all places on 23 Aug 2019 (I started to list all the other concerts I’ve been to, but that wouldn’t be fair to the other musicians so I’ll leave it here). He kept making eye contact with me wherein it made me feel like I was the only one in the concert hall. I’ll never forget it 👍🏻
"Hide Inside Your Sweet Sweet Love Forevermore"....what a great lyric!
Thank You
Love their music, and can't enough of the music.
Man....can this man really sing and play or what? He is so very talented and not recognized enough. This was awesome, and I will be returning to watch, listen, and enjoy many times.
SIgh....I must sound like a broken record, but I love this song. Justin and the Moodies are a unique band. I think THEIR style of their music and lyrics to be placed with these melodies are so different from other bands, and this web of music and lyrics to their songs, which they have weaved, caught me, and I am still in that web. I was in my car listening today listening to the Classic Vinyal station when, to my surprise, they played two back to back songs of the Moodies'. I had just pulled into my garage, when the first song, Tuesday Afternoon, came on. It was like I was hearing this song for the very first time and had to listen to the entire song before getting out of my car. But then "Night," song by John, came on, and I had to stay and listen to that song, when I have both of these songs on a cd I had burned. It is funny, but as soon as one of their songs comes on the radio, I gasp like I am a giddy teenager and mutter "oh my gosh...they are playing a Moodies' song." I love this song, because it is sung fast, at the end it is quite noisy with their voices not sung in unison in the background, and a great guitar piece front and center at the end. Justin does a fantastic job of it. Their songs demand your attention over and over again. They are a unique band, who have so many songs one never tires of. Thank you for a lovely song on a beautiful, fall-like, Friday afternoon. I am counting the days when Justin and Co. come to my quaint little city with cobblestone streets where people dock their boats and walk around to visit little shops and great restaurants. September 22 is not coming fast enough.
@@lindam.6782 I have other solo concerts by him as well as the Moodies.' One of the dvds is the one when they were in France but someone stole a few of their live songs they sang. Moodies Fan had them up on UA-cam individually but then I came across the actual DVD of that performance. I also have a DVD of them performing with other bands at this huge outdoor concert. Justin was really nervous then I guess because he was performing for a huge crowd like Woodstock. I also have some other DVD concerts the Moodies did.
Wonderful Voice, Lyrics & Music, as always Justin!!!🎶🎸
One of my favourite Songs.
I love this song x
Great guitar and drums. Thank you for sharing. 12/23

Con el tiempo me di cuenta que Justin no solo es un gran cantante y compositor, también como guitarrista es sobresaliente. Muy completo artista.
I put Justin’s guitar playing up with the greats. Oh, slightly off topic, but I love that shirt. He wears it so well. 😀😀
I'd love to be at one of those shows.
Forever

Dazzling 🎸🎸🎸

I REMEMBER TO PTO VALLARTA JAL MEX. , SUPER. HAPYS. PARTIES. FROM EVERYWERW ". 🤩🤣🍾🍷🍺. WOW ‼️
Am I the only one to notice the excellent bass player ?
@@lindam.6782Hey, thanks for the info !
That was tight
The song is harbinger of the doom that humanity will face. And they knew it back in ‘71. Mike Pinder sure did. It drove him nuts, literally.
I'm feeling the doom
❤☀🌼💃☺
While this is very entertaining I wonder what happened to the Tuesday afternoon series?
@@lindam.6782 Thank you I thought it was a regular thing I had just recently. discovered U tube along with his solo work.
@@lindam.6782 I'm afraid so I've always had a flip phone recently got an Android phone love it I even have Pandora and Spotify I've always been behind on technology
I am a Lyricist. Lennon and McCartney had nothing on Hayward and Lodge. A part of my life in most every song.
Who is the Bass player?
The archetype ES 335 solo. Yet here it’s tricked up to the heavens. Keeping it cherry red, I’ll say.
The little red gutair
I bet he can play this in his sleep.
Dino shuffle? 🙃💕
Only when the Moody Blues were together.
Red yellow spots for blond fair skin, the sighlent producer.
THAT DRUMMER ALWAYS CREEPED ME OUT.....I DON'T KNOW WHY......I GET NEGATIVE ENERGY FROM HIM.....HE'S NOTHING LIKE GRAEME 😳😳
It was great until the fucking drum solo!
Yes, keep it short if you're going to do that. And that is a non Moody Blues kind of thing to do as well.
@@cosmo1eleven855 Thank you for making me laugh.
Well said🤣👍
Great performances by everyone 💫🤍
I thought it was even greater with the drum solo. Probably Justin trying to inject a different slant on the songs that he wouldn’t normally do with the Moodies. Awesome back up musicians here. I attended a Justin solo gig a few years back and have to admit I enjoyed it vastly more than a Moodies gig which were getting stale with the same old songs year in year out.
