I think I was 13 when I started messing with small engines. Looks like he's pretty far along for a guy his age. Keep up the good work. I now watch his video 1st, then VGG, when they both come out on the day.
Little dude. You may not understand this now. But, your Dad is totally setting you up for a very successful life where you will do what you love. And make a pretty great living doing it. Keep up bud. You are well on your way to great things.
I worked in an atv shop for 10 years and I took so many of these ranchers apart. I miss doing that work. Awesome job dude! Hard working cool dude just like your dad. Keep it up little brother.
I like what you got going on remind me when I was a kid! I work on ATV and sxs and snowmobiles for a living! Just wanted to say! Them China carburetors you have to adjust the needel on the float! So the needle is shutting of the gas! The float should be should be level! You bend the tab on the float to adjust needel! Thank you for the great content!! Keep up on the good work!!!!!
When I was a kid I had all the dirtbikes and raced, my dad got a used Honda rancher when I was getting older and I took it through any mud and trail I could find. Those old rancher 350’s are tough. We upgraded to some mud tires, I rolled it, I sunk it in ponds many times. It just kept going. I’ve bought my own now and I went with a newer mode Honda rancher. My dads old one is still going and they use it for simple yard tasks now
I tried to attach the thingymabob to the whatchamacallit once and almost broke my big toe. And, just so you don't feel like you're alone on an island, I've been a shade tree mechanic since the 1970's (yep, almost as old as your dad 🤣) and still have no idea what I'm doing either. All the best to you and your family this Christmas.
Love your sidekick, the very inquisitive Cat lol. Could the carb just need the float adjusted lower? Great job Little Grip, you'll be a Master mechanic in no time, and you have the best teacher you could ask for...Right Dad?
Awesome job, it looks great with the new tires and rims! When I was 14 I got a job at the local hardware store putting stuff together: bikes, trikes, stools...you name it. I'm so thankful for that experience, love working/tinkering on stuff!
Just a reminder with an aggressive mud tire like this, they will pick up rocks and throw them behind you…if someone follows you, make sure they are aware…😬. Great looking rig! Hard to beat the Honda ATV’s! Great job, Bentley!
Seasons greetings from the UK. Great to watch you work on stuff mate, can tell you are you Fathers Son with the mergiggers and doodabs, makes me giggle. Great videos. Wish more parents did such a great job as yours have.
Way to go there! Your dad gave you a huge kudos during the Truck Gift Build when he had the chainsaw out and said "I should just give this to Bentley as he's a 2 cycle genius" (or something like that). Way to go.
One thing I've learned about small engine carbs is that not all carba are equal. Come of those Chinese carbs are garbage. Not sure what you have. But I've learned this the hard way. Your skills hare impressive though. So proud of you. If you ever get discouraged, I've learned from my failures than I have my success than I have from anything. Never be afraid to fail at anything. I figure the more I failed the smarter I get. I deffnently struggle with Amazon carbs too!
Awesome video! I worked on a few rigs for my dad when I was young, I usually took a little Debbie and soda break! You were hard at it the whole time, remember to wet your whistle on occasion!
All parents want their kids to do much better than they have, your mom and dad are doing great with you guys, soak up all the information you can, you’re an inspiration young man. Great job all of y’all and merry Christmas from spring texas.
Another great video each and every one is very enjoyable to watch. Them skills are comming and Im sure you will be knuckle deep into rebuilds before long.
You're doing great dude. Might I suggest a simple shut off valve for the fuel make it happener! It's working for me on my snowblower and everything else. Keep up the awesome work Bentley
If the carb you took off is the original Honda carb, clean and rebuild it. Great way to clean all the ethanol junk out is to disassemble it as much as possible then drop everything in a heated ultrasonic cleaner. (with engine degreaser in it). Get it good and hot and let it eat on the carb for a while. Then blow out all the orifices with air compressor or carb cleaner. Then put it all back in the ultrasonic again. Put it all back together and it should be good as new.
Your doing great work Bentley, keep it up! May I suggest something? Rebuild the original carb, they are a 100 times better than the Chinesium ones. I have had some carbs about half full of what looked like molasses or tar and they cleaned up very well. I have been working on small engines since I was 7 yrs old and bought a small engine shop when I was 16 October of 1980. I had the money but my dad had to sign for me when I bought it. I sold the business in July of 2022 after 42 years of business and I still have some customers coming to my house because they aren't happy with the new owner. Don't ever get discouraged, take breaks if need. You are awesome and I can see your family knows it as well! Jim from Maine
That carb is probably fine but you need to set the float so it shuts the gas off at a lower level. Bend the little tab that’s holding the needle a tiny bit so it’s closing sooner. Good work
Good job on the rancher young man. If I'm not mistaken those early 2000s Ranchers are full time 4 wheel drive. There is a kit you can buy where you can take it out of 4wd when needed.
I see a great opportunity for a collab series. Bentley has questions about Jetting. perfect opportunity for good ole Dad to jump in and give us all a good learnin. A little explanation would be appreciated by all.
Love your channel kid. Those are some sick new tires. Just one tip, the reason why the Timelapse was dark is the bright wall on the top right corner. That’s call a hot spot. Avoid them and you exposure should be better.
Great video little buddy👍 Those Hondas will run forever with a little general maintenance. Merry Christmas to you and the family and we’ll see you soon 🎉🙏👍 Also clean the needle and the seat. That’s probably why fuel is passing through when float is raised all the way
Hey Little Grip… The needle might not be sealing against the seat. Check for leaks there. Sitting so long could have cracked the rubber tip of the needle. Good luck👍
You'll probably be much better off rebuilding the OEM carb, rather than using an Amazon mystery carb 👍 Always great seeing one of the shop lions there for moral support as well. 🐈⬛😎
“I don’t know what I’m doing” is something I say almost everyday, even after being in the trades for years. Once a fella knows too much is when they get into trouble.
Might have to check your float height, bend that little tab on float a tiny bit. Then the gas coming in pushes the float valve tigher. Also I've had a new float valve sometimes take a bit to seat itself. It might come around. Original oem carbs, if cleanable, are best to stick with. Some no name knockoff carbs are junk. Been there. Aftermarket carbs from reputable aftermarket sellers seem ok. Good job young man.
You did a great job on it after you get a better carburetor it should be almost perfect your Dad should be very proud. Hey have you ever considered moving the fuel tank on your little jeep so it's not on top of the engine and you can fill it like a real car it might be fun to try , of course you're probably would have to use a pulse pump to get the gas to the carb or something.
A little word of advice. Keep the drawers closed on the tool box to keep from getting hurt. Take the float bowl off the carb and see if the float is sealing the inlet.
Enjoyed watching Bentley working on the Honda Rancher. I do have a suggestion though and that is there needs to be some light on the subject. There are times when it's so dark, can't see what is going on. Thank you!
Excellent Video Bentley :) also super nice job fixing up this ATV 4 wheels and so cool ! Plus Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025 ahead hope Santa Clause 🎅 brings lots goodies to enjoy with family & friends to and much more!
Thanks Son, its so much better. Your tenacity and hard work are respected by this old man.
And that sir is why you are as successful as you are and get our family's support. Keep it up and Merry Christmas!
Bentley is such a great kid.
Well, all your boys are. You and Jessica are great parents, Derek.
I think I was 13 when I started messing with small engines. Looks like he's pretty far along for a guy his age. Keep up the good work. I now watch his video 1st, then VGG, when they both come out on the day.
I have an immense amount of respect for both of you. A Feller has a great kid there, and Bentley you have one amazing Dad.
You two need to do a collaboration video like everybody else on UA-cam. You could do a spoof on the whole collaboration thing.
Little dude. You may not understand this now. But, your Dad is totally setting you up for a very successful life where you will do what you love. And make a pretty great living doing it. Keep up bud. You are well on your way to great things.
I love when the cat offers moral support while you're working, good job on the wheeler!
Hey Bentley, what's your cats name? He follows you everywhere!
It’s awesome to see a young guy like yourself working with your hands and not spending your time looking at a screen.
Wow, as a dad, this I know makes your dad very proud of you. Nice bike. Can’t go wrong with a Honda.
You did a FANTASTIC job. You should be very PROUD of yourself. I know your Dad is Very PROUD of you!
This kid and his pop are just absolutely crushing it keep up the good work buddy
Some men out there really need to take note of this little dudes hard work and know how!
So much talent oin a little person! You sir are awesome.
Looking good. Can’t wait to hear it run with the new exhaust.
I worked in an atv shop for 10 years and I took so many of these ranchers apart. I miss doing that work. Awesome job dude! Hard working cool dude just like your dad. Keep it up little brother.

Keep at it Bentley, the more you work on stuff, the better you'll get at it, buddy!!

ROFLMAO 🤣
I broke a collarbone when I tried to change out the muffler bearings. 😂😂😂😂😂. Smartass here
Love your sidekick, the very inquisitive Cat lol. Could the carb just need the float adjusted lower? Great job Little Grip, you'll be a Master mechanic in no time, and you have the best teacher you could ask for...Right Dad?
Just what I was thinking.
Great job! I appreciate your determination and problem solving skills. Also enjoyed watching the cat helping out 😊
Bentley, awesome job and video. Thank you for sharing.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
That CAT though!! Haha. Just had to be part of the action. Good stuff Bentley!
Shop cat is very cool.
Awesome job, it looks great with the new tires and rims! When I was 14 I got a job at the local hardware store putting stuff together: bikes, trikes, stools...you name it. I'm so thankful for that experience, love working/tinkering on stuff!

Putting in the work!! Keep pushing bently you are doing a great job of showing the younger generations how it’s done!!🎉🎉
Seasons greetings from the UK. Great to watch you work on stuff mate, can tell you are you Fathers Son with the mergiggers and doodabs, makes me giggle. Great videos. Wish more parents did such a great job as yours have.

Godbless you and your family, Bentley! I hope you have a safe and happy holidays! Great video and hope dad likes the tune up!
Nice work Bentley!!! You are as sharp as your daddy!!!
Way to go there! Your dad gave you a huge kudos during the Truck Gift Build when he had the chainsaw out and said "I should just give this to Bentley as he's a 2 cycle genius" (or something like that). Way to go.
Love your videos and your time lapse music.

I always get a kick out of seeing the barn cats 🐈 crashing the video 😂 great job Little Grip!
Another great video each and every one is very enjoyable to watch. Them skills are comming and Im sure you will be knuckle deep into rebuilds before long.
Great work, Bentley!
Keep it up!
Thanks for another great video little man! Good job, buddy
Great job. You,re getting better everytime you set your mind to it.
Great job Bentley, Merry Christmas to you and yours
We like the new tires and wheels it really makes the Rancher shine now! Good video Bentley and content.
Great video. Mine leaks too. I just turn the fuel off about 30 seconds before i cut the power. 80% of the time it works every time.
Another Awesome Job Bentley! Great Repairs, Modifications, and Video. Merry Christmas!
Great work Mr.Bentley.Merry Christmas to you young man

Looks to me like the cat did most of the work! 😁🥰
You're doing great dude. Might I suggest a simple shut off valve for the fuel make it happener! It's working for me on my snowblower and everything else. Keep up the awesome work Bentley

Nice job Bentley! Looking forward to your next one.
I like the way that you describe things.
That carb is probably fine but you need to set the float so it shuts the gas off at a lower level. Bend the little tab that’s holding the needle a tiny bit so it’s closing sooner. Good work

Love your channel kid. Those are some sick new tires. Just one tip, the reason why the Timelapse was dark is the bright wall on the top right corner. That’s call a hot spot. Avoid them and you exposure should be better.
I love watching his videos he was a very smart intelligent boy and very mechanically inclined keep up the good work bud
Excellent work Bentley, i have the same model rancher, same carb situations, great work.
Another good one.
Thanks for the video.
Those wheels and tires makes look like whole different ride!
Great video little buddy👍 Those Hondas will run forever with a little general maintenance. Merry Christmas to you and the family and we’ll see you soon 🎉🙏👍 Also clean the needle and the seat. That’s probably why fuel is passing through when float is raised all the way
Great job Bentley, good as new , Merry Christmas 🎄🥳❤️🙏🏻
The cat checking your work was funny, great job man. hi5
Thank you Bentley for another great video. I hope you will have a great Christmas and a happy new year,
Regards from Sweden.
like the channel u should check float height if leaking gas.
Hey Little Grip…
The needle might not be sealing against the seat. Check for leaks there. Sitting so long could have cracked the rubber tip of the needle. Good luck👍
He installed a new Chinese carb last week.
I like those tires and wheels, makes me want to get some for my rancher
Great job Bentley your future is brite keep the videos coming buddy stay safe out there you and your family have a very Merry Christmas
Awesome, and you bested the old man with the video release. I don't know why, but I get a kick out of that when it happens.
Great video bud can’t wait to hear it with the new muffler
You'll probably be much better off rebuilding the OEM carb, rather than using an Amazon mystery carb 👍

Just a chip off the ol block, ur a great kid, keep on keepin on Bentley
5:10 same when I was your age, lol I still don’t even now sometimes. Just keep going. Live and learn
Great work Bentley love the show
A little word of advice. Keep the drawers closed on the tool box to keep from getting hurt. Take the float bowl off the carb and see if the float is sealing the inlet.
Thanks for sharing! Great job! You just have to remember to turn your gas off. :)
Good job bud, looks like the shop lion was keeping you on your toes 😂
I'm excited about your future. Keep it up.
Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄
Love your cat-prentice!
Merry Christmas, Bentley! 🎄
Enjoyed watching Bentley working on the Honda Rancher. I do have a suggestion though and that is there needs to be some light on the subject. There are times when it's so dark, can't see what is going on. Thank you!
Very possible the float level is to high. Lower the float a Lil . The Rancher 350 is almost indestructible. Looks awesome.
Been down this road before, launch that Amazon carb, find your original Honda one and rebuild it, your ATV will be much happier.
Maybe you can try and lower the float level. That's probably what's going on with your carb.
Looks good little buddy 👍
great lil helper ya got !
I would get a lot more work done if I had a Bentley and a Mechanic Cat! 😺Another great job!!
Excellent Video Bentley :) also super nice job fixing up this ATV 4 wheels and so cool ! Plus Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025 ahead hope Santa Clause 🎅 brings lots goodies to enjoy with family & friends to and much more!
Your the best kid. Keep it up!!!!
