I have set it up as you mentioned, but zone 1 won’t turn off. I try to switch it back and forth from manual to timer with no luck. The other 3 zones don’t do this. Any suggestions?
Possibly a defective unit and the valve no longer closes for zone 1. If the settings are the same on all 4, but only zone 1 malfunctions, it's likely to be a valve issue.
Start watching at 2:20 and you can see how to move from one zone to the next during programming. Just program the zones you want and ignore the others.

How do I set the timer to irrigate ONLY zones 2 and 4? I want to skip zone 1, program zone 2, skip zone 3, program zone 4.
