I was privileged to see the band live in LA 2 years ago. I URGE you to see them live. They sound amazing, and no young bands have that Chicano sound. Take your high heels and get ready to dance all night long!!
oh my. i saw malo last summer at the greek and not one original member. it was like a bad tribute band. the singer sounded like he was from the stylistics. not really an afro cuban voice.

First of all, i gotta say great job to Raquel Garcia. The video sounds great !!!! Nicely done....! This is by far the bands best lineup in recent years. (minus junior conga player) Now if only Jorge Santana was in the lineup, the band would be complete. If memory serves, i think he stopped touring with us a year or two before this. Sadly, Gabe, Tony, and Ramiro are no longer in the band, and i'm very disappointed about that. The band is not the same without them. Believe me when i say, they are truly missed !!! Its been awhile since i heard this vid, partly cause i don't get on youtube much. Nor do i comment on these things either. So, thanks to everybody for your kind comments. By the way, im the guy playing keyboards in this video. Its an honor and a pleasure representing Malo's history through the music! Blessings everybody -Danny Cervantes, Malo's current piano player.
