Thank you for great info. Buying things for the new house without planning and homework causes a disorganized look. For example, buying some cushions because you like them in the shop but don’t coordinate with the colors of your furniture or room in general. Collecting packages, boxes of big to small sized things for 100 years in hope they will be useful one day that is least likely to come. Not having a heart to throw or give away unused things like an old piece of furniture or a not functioning broken lamp. Collecting your medicines on bed side tables and dressing tables or just letting their packaging stay there. Necessarily covering your dining table with a cheap plastic cover. Decorating the house with rainbowy looking cheap shiny items from China. Necessarily decorating one wall of the house with odd looking and embarrassing family photos with some frames wearing off over time and others loosely hanging unattended. Using a lot of print in everything like bedsheets, cushions, carpets, sofas etc. buying every decoration in the market not thinking of its cohesion/ mismatch with the rest of the room. Using bright colors on walls and then being skavevof that color palette for the rest of your life.
Very good info, particularly hanging clothes on spoil all beauty of terrace and front elevation. An other important thing is ramp, very high and encroaching the road ramp also spoils beauty of house. High boundaries of outside lawn is also very odd looking.

Very valid points just to add over the top ceiling designs, gaudy gold fittings, double elevation in small houses etc. Guess comes down to personal esthetics at end of day.

These are not durable and with in five years house needs to be renovated again.I dislike artificial grass on walls and cutwork gates also.they catch rust easily

Tube light inside or outside of the house💡 Using steel doors and steel gates is bad enough but painting them is even worse. Leather sofas with velvet cushions. Decorations with fake plastic flowers. Flowers in organza and velvet are okay. Dried flowers are okay. Plastic knobs and door handles. Plastic decoration. Using heavy curtains in cheap material. Heavy curtains only look good in quality material. If you want to save, then buy curtains in plain velvet. Buying mainstream decoration made for the masses. Luxury is not supposed to be easily attainable. Damask or printed wallpaper in bright colours in adult bedrooms. Children playrooms can be colourful but it looks cheap to go overboard on colour, in adult bedrooms. Too many colours. Cheap material. Ironing on the ground floor. Behaviour and attitude of the host also plays in a part in how one perceives them, when entering the house. Don’t be loud, inappropriate or use casual language.
