Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro (Global version) Short film: Maastricht, first day in semi Lockdown (Coronavirus)

I'm one of the 20 Mi explorers who have the chance to try out the global version of Xiaomi's Mi 10 Pro. As part of my review I wanted to make a video with footage of the beautiful city I live in. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus hit the world hard and many ppl are fighting for their lives.
Since we are advised to stay at home as much as we can I had to change my plans..a day After our Dutch prime minister went on national television to bring the message I went to the city for just an hour.. I carried nothing more then the Mi 10 Pro and a small 2 dollar tripod. All scenes containing movement is recorded with Xiaomi's own super stabilization.
As I'm far from being a professional videomaker or photographer I really believe the Mi 10 Pro can deliver great footage without extra equipment (gimballs, filters etc).

I really love this phone! It's such a big improvement compared to the Mi9 and the Mi mix 2s.
Yeah I guess the streets will be empty for the following 2/3 months...let's hope the world will find a cure soon.
What was the price? For the Global Version, and in which country? Thanks.

999 for the pro version i was thinking about 750.
Tot expensive i think .
maybe if the price wil drop in a couple off months i wil consider tot buy the pro version

Don’t see the point of this non comparison and random shots videoclip.
Could have been shot on a dozen other phones and look the same.
I don’t see any aspects that will point out the capabillities of the Mi 10 pro, in other words, what makes it special ???
Well, this video is part of a complete review on the Mi community. With this video I just want to show people anyone could make a nice video that has less to none skills with videorecording.
For comparison there are numerous videos on UA-cam. I did some performance comparisons with the Mi9 in my review.
But why does everything needs to be compared?
Can't we just be amazed by products and get creative with it?
@@XiaomiGadgetsGuide Well these are interesting times, we see people diverting from the main brands as they get too expensive while 2nd tier brands are moving up.
People would like to see comparisons to how these new phones stack up against the competition.
Sure there are reviews but I have never seen one done on a Global version. The Global version is interesting for the people living in Europe and the USA.
You have been giving the opportunity to have one beforehand and lots of people that do want a top tier smartphone but don't want to spend >1000 euros are now looking towards the MI 10 Pro.
As for the price people, it will be around 750-800 euros for the basic version and about 950 euros for the 512GB version.
@@Roomer645 , unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to compare the Mi10 Pro with any other phonebrand that comes with the same SD chipset. If I had 500k subscribers and each video pays off it would be a different story haha.
But at the end that's not my purpose..
I'm a Xiaomi fan and I love to write about their products. I believe in their strategy of honest pricing...
I was lucky to be one of the 20 other mi explorers to try this phone out..the one I got my hands on is a prototype, unfinished product. Being part of the programme we have to do some missions..Making an article about the camera is one of them...:)
I'm also curious about the price too.. phones becoming to expensive nowadays..
@@XiaomiGadgetsGuide The 865 is an expensive chipset and the display is also pricey and today people want storage, fast charging, dual speakers, etc so the price goes up.
Chinese brands also charge more in Europe compared to their own market and that has nothing to do with just taxes.
We will see ....
I predict 949 euro for the interesting version (512GB) as I see no point in just 128 of even 256GB for a camera heavy phone as there is no SD card slot.
I hope the Global version caters to all networks so we can use the device anywere we go.
