your nc500 was the first you tube video I ever watched, back in 2018, when after my hubby had a massive paralysing stroke, we decided it was time, despite his disabilities, to go on some adventures. We didn’t go the motorhome route, too difficult with being wheelchair bound, but opted for car and tent, up until he passed away in 2021 we had made four trips to the highlands, completed the nc500 on each visit, and toured around lots of mainland Scotland, Cornwall and wales, live in Devon so that was easy. I still enjoy your videos, and your humour, and like seeing places I have yet to discover on my car camping adventures. Hope you both have a great Christmas, and Herman too of course.
What such a lovely comment to receive, Pam and Ted. We're sorry to hear about your husband. It sounds like you had some great times. Do you still camp in a tent while touring or do you sleep in your Jazz? We are going away for Christmas and New Year in Herman. Will you be out in your Jazz? It's so nice to receive comments like this. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
@@HermanHitstheRoad I did 4 months car camping around the Scottish highlands from April this year, and loved it. currently back in Devon over winter working and living in my caravan, but hopefully will be off in the Jazz again next year, I’ve still not got to Lewis and Harris or Shetland, they are on the bucket list lol.
Hi Ads&Zoe.on our stamping ground. Tewkesbury one of our regular stops.we have had a picnic on that very bench in Victoria Gardens many times.i guess you were staying on the carpark in front of the motorhome dealers.?how was that?love Burford too.and yes agree the road is so busy....all the best.Mark&Ann Sapsford.
Thanks Mark and Ann. Yes, we liked Tewkesbury. We didn't have any problems staying in the car park. Road was a little noisy though. Thanks for commenting and we hope you enjoyed the video? 👍👍
Thanks both for another entertaining vlog. We are defo going to visit that area, looks great. Is Nottingireland anywhere close to Notting hill. Where ever it is looks worth a visit. All the best, Tony and Julie.
Well your Tour of Ireland, but not a tour of Ireland. Was pretty good sitting here in my Study. You have shown us some very interesting places to visit.
That's great news, Digger Buckett. We didn't want to go to places we've been before. It was a case of not knowing what we'd be doing next until we looked at the map. 👍👍
Sitting watching your video while near Melbourne in Australia where I now live, enjoying your segment on Tewkesbury. I was there just over a week ago, the town I was born in as well as being christened in the Abbey.
It's been great to see you both enjoying yourselves and visiting some our favourite places too. Let Zoe know that we are on our way to knock 18ft off the top of Tewkesbury Abbey to help with her photography. If we get caught, we're blaming Zoe !! We are off to Somerset in a couple of weeks time. Best Wishes to you both, Dave and Sophie xx
The banners each represent the arms of the families in olved in the Battle of Tewkesbury, we know this as our friends live there & we go up every year for the fireworks, but this year they're not on .
Oh Robert, you may missed the videos with all the drama in them about getting all the way to the port in Wales to catch the ferry to Ireland only to discover that our motorhome had a few mechanical problems so we decided not to risk it. If you'd like to watch these videos then here is my playlist ua-cam.com/play/PLJgpuB_d0W55KO-IZd-GZDod3DmyhuKI5.html
sad to hear you couldn't get around Ireland, but this vlog looks like you had a good time. We love Tewkesbury, we've used it as a journey break a few times. Fingers crossed you get to do Ireland soon. Andy and Kim.

Thanks Tony and Julie. What do you mean by Nottingireland?
@@HermanHitstheRoad , Lol, its where Ads kept saying where you were, “not in Ireland”. Or Nottingireland.
LOL 😆 🤣 😂

Looks like you're stuck your fingers in the plug socket.
That's funny, Larry👏
Agree with you about Burford, not a place i'll be rushing back to. Take care.
Thanks Michael👍

Thanks for commenting Mark. It must be odd seeing a tourist visiting the place where you grew up. We hope you enjoyed the video 👍👍?

That's brilliant, Dave and Sophie. You just need a distraction 👍👍🤣
Eastnor grounds have been used by Land Rover for testing and dealer events I believe.
That's right, eeclass20. They are situated in the car park.
We hope you enjoyed the video?
Nice Barrow, you're having a proper explore round there 👍
Definitely, Alex 👍

@@HermanHitstheRoad Indeed we did.
Ad's at 7.16mins that's what she said that's a Big Organ lol
Haha I did wonder if anyone would pick up on that, Vauxhall Mechanic 🤣
@@HermanHitstheRoad only Daz in the VW would pick that up, I hope the bingo balls are still going strong as I plan to attend next years Hermanfest
That is such good news, Daz👍👍👍
Yes, the bingo balls are still going strong
Why not in Ireland

I was disappointed, you said you saw a pair of green Falcons, I only saw one.
Peter, you've misheard. I say "Peregrine falcons"

I think you made a great decision to carry on in Herman. I loved all the different camera angles you got of the white horse. Take care Gill
Thanks Gill 👍
Beautiful video Ads and Zoe. Enjoyed the "Not Going Round Ireland" tour!
Thanks Deb. We're glad you enjoyed the video 👍
