Love him! All my love from Germany!!
Ya es leyenda el Kenny.
Guys just don't forget you are watching a 70 year old drummer here, it's unbeliavable, he is drumming like he is 20 years younger.
Yeah, he’s phenomenal! I guess about two years ago there was a Carl Palmer video and he was about 72 or 73 in the video and my jaw was literally on the floor that this guy was as good or better than he was in the 70s and 80s! 😮 Btw, I just got done watching the Kenny Arnoff Buddy Rich band video and that was one of the most shocking drum performances I’ve ever seen in my life. I had no idea Kenny could swing that good and his snare drum chops 30 or 35 years ago were phenomenal!
Kenny has always been a fantastic drummer and if you watch his interviews very gracious and knowledgeable guy! His drums sounds like real drum no bullshit!
Keeper of Time and Groove! Rock on Bro❤!!!
had pleasure of him Kenny in Fogerty concert. Right through me, awsome
imho Aronoff is One of the Top 25 Rock Drummers of All Time
I just red on wikipedia that this guy is 70 years old. 70!!!! I thought he was 60. Top
I appreciate the Neil quotes. Good on you Kenny, always the consummate pro.
A show of talent and passion right here. wow!
70 yesrs old Kenny Arronoff? Hard to believe..fountsin of Youth
Just saw Satriani's show in Beverly, MA apparently opening his US tour and I was psyched when they came on stage and I saw the drummer was Kenny!! That was a huge bonus!
Love Kenny!!
One of the best drummers around these days.
I really like his signature snare here..
One of the Drummers i was most intrestetet, why he is intressting. Heard a lot of songs, like him as a person and drummer. But, he is a working drummer, who hat the luck to play hitsongs. I have very much respekt to that. He has as gift, he used it, to enjoy es all. But even her in germany i heard Drummer, of this size. But not with the american musicforce behind them. Marco Minnemann, is ohne of the great drummers that makes his way from lower-saxony to the US. But drumming is not a competition, so we can enjoy them all. And have fun.
Adore!
Aronoff = Energy
That swing on the floor toms gave me chills
Grande molto bravo
Monster and GOAT
Not goat. Nope. Good. But not a goat. Reserved for only a few. He’s a solid pro.
No.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 Ok, who is?
@@RtaniDean Ok, who is the GOAT?
@@RtaniDean Seems like a heck of a lot of the best use him in the studio.
Nice snare! ❤
How bout you share this please? I find this f-ing amazing!
Krupa and Rich would be proud!
Heavy feel...dude
I think he’s around 70 he still got it
I knew he was good but I had no idea. Captain Stamina WOW!
Petition to send this video to any and every clown who says that "KeNnY hAs nO TeChnIqUe lOl" BS. Like to sign it :)
To the two guys ripping Kenny below, I have just one question. How many Grammys do you have? Go back down to Mama's basement and think about it.
Lol Kenny is shit In every area of playing drums
AMEN
To the idiots who dumped on Kenny. Goyishe kops
Just remember, the man is seventy (70) years old
Him and tommy Aldridge.....legends
And should be retired.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418Why would he retire in his prime? Drums are his life.
Kenny is the best drummer alive!

here's me thinking Kenny didn't have serious chops and was hired for his feel/groove/creativity/being hardworking and nice.
why did I think that lol? clearly he has spent plenty of time with the rudiments lol
its' something beginner drummers don't understand, "chops", and "Feel"/"groove" are not contrary aspects of playing at the pro level. At pro level, everything is under your belt, whether or not you show your full hand. You play what is needed for the occasion.
Well....he ain't no Buddy Rich but he'll do in a pinch......lol.
The guy is the most average drummer in history
You think drum solo's are what makes someone a good drummer? Who have you played with? What are your credentials? You know nothing about musicianship.
Seriously, you have no clue. Watch John Fogerty's Premonition.
He's a good pocket drummer but this solo is weak and unimaginative.
I agree. One dimensional smashing.
Solos in general are kinda lame.
He's a garbage player. I've no idea how he's made a career out of being painfully average
Drum solo's are weak and unimaginative. Calling him a good pocket drummer sounds like something a non musician would say.
@@karlplaysdrumsThat's what a drum solo is.
One of my most favorite local stage hand moments was when you (Kenny) allowed me to sit behind you at Vinoy Park in Saint Petersburg, FL. I was assigned to help your tech set up. He pretty much didn't allow me to touch anything just told me to sit there and watch but don't leave and don't let anybody steal me away. From him he said if anybody tries to get you to help them just tell them you belong to me!, Which I happily did, lol. During which time, I spotted a hole in your rt. kick drum, just in time for your tech to change it out before the show. He apparently told you what happened and told me to sit there until after the show and hold on to the head for him. You signed it for me. I don't know if it was because of your "in-ears"or just the noise, you shook my hand, thanked me and asked my name ...i said "RONNIE"... you grabbed the head, signed it, handed it back to me and said thank you so much. See you next time!... and exited the stage.
I was so excited and grabbed the head spun it around and this is what it said...
"WADDY...Great meeting you , 🙂 Kenny Aronoff" (and you can see on the head where the beater pad had partially torn off and the hole was behind it)
I believe the date was 11/10/11 with John Fogarty, Styx, Trace Adkins. I've been the stage hand since 1992. I've met a lot of people. Thank you for being one of the most gracious, and kind musicians that i've had the pleasure to work for. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🖖🏼
That was a great day!! that was the same day that I was allowed to sit behind Todd Sucherman's kit for a pic. Got to sit behind 2 of my most favorite inspirational drummers in the world that day.
Kenny is a class act through and through, you just wanna work with him the moment he enters a room! Signed me a pair of sticks stating, "you rock!" on them. I had 'em as my lucky charm for awhile... dunno where they are right now :( Also answered me on Linkedin and I think he helped sharing my own drum reel as well. Just a great guy all around! And what a drummer!
I enjoy Kenny, but don't think he really worked on this solo...
As good as tico torres 🤔
hahahahhahhah this is awful, the only good part is what he stole from neil peart
Are you just one guy using several burner accounts? Let's compare his resume to yours. I'll wait. Neil Peart liked Peter Criss's drumming. You have *ZERO* clue what musicianship is all about.
@@mr.brenman2132 neil was a polite human
@@Augfordpdoggie No, he just wasn't dishonest like you.
@@mr.brenman2132 how am i dishonest?
@@Augfordpdoggie You just claimed Neil Peart is dishonest.
Not bad for 69yrs. old !
And to think, John Mellencamp taught him all of this.
Sorry he is under tama contract but this solo is like some who play drums 4-5years.....sorry
Ma che sta' facendo
Suona la batteria. E tu?
dont tell me nothing his solo...., sorry..., really boring, nothing special, repetitive....
it's called playing with humility.
