I've given it a while since the latest release to see what you wanted to do with re-designing everything and I'm just so happy with what you've been doing! I seriously think you're criminally underappreciated in all this.
Really love your builds, thanks for the time you take to show it all off. Oh and btw, I have switched to using your stacked Fractionator build for Deuterium, its insane! More than a full belt with 30 fractionators. Good work : )
Thanks for the great episode TDA! I'm looking forward to white science so I can finish the game and start using rare resources. still trying to get that achievement.
The advanced miners are sooo good. Not only do they mine multiple times faster than standard mining machines, per node covered, but they can be scaled up multiple times, AND they work infinitely with the mining research, whereas standard miners can only ever output 30/s max since they have a belt output. The advanced miners can feed your logistics directly, so it can mine as fast as you can remove material from its storage via drones. Given the fact that drones can be scaled up to a decent amount of resource transfer, and can be sped up as well, you basically have the potential for as much of any ore as you could possibly use. They definitely use a lot more power, but by the time you can make them you likely have power figured out.
Vessels use a LOT of cpu power. So it's best to have one device remote demand/supply if possible, and the rest do local. as Drones use GPU. so for example. One tower should only remote demand warpers and local supply them, the rest should local demand.
Optimizing the warpers like that would provide a minor drop in the amount of vessels. But other than that, these builds are pretty much as efficient as it gets. Many more modular builds use ILS's for every step in between which can result items being transported between planets 4-5 times, this should reduce that to base resources only (although the fact that I allow for rare recipes, partially breaks this concept....) Not a problem until the true late game though, fortunately.
Also by default resources in interstellar stations are set to Remote Supply, which can mess up a lot of things. For example, I had local demand/remote supply of warpers in many stations, which led to situation where warpers where send to new planets from multiple locations in small quantities, instead from my main warper station.
thank you for this, was waiting with my next playthrough until you reach the "age of warping" :) i cannot wait getting back into the action (can we call it action in this game???) and i hereby request naming rights for the next system :P
i like to use solar arrays on the poles too however with the amount of deuterium rods i make i find mini fusion reactors to be far more space efficient. another thing ive started doing is instead of using tesla towers ot wireless power towers to run power from a to b i use wind turbines. not as much range but it works just the same while adding extra power to the network for free and its especially effective on a planet like that with 160% wind power. thats 480KW/turbine and it will add up very fast. as far as the resource export hub ive done away with that altogether since it seems to create a massive bottleneck for me. ill drop an ILS station at every cluster of veins (sometimes it has 2-3 clusters feeding it sometimes its only 1 cluster) but i find it increases throughput massively.
Deuterium rods are expensive though! And you'll need lots of them for later builds! And yes you do need to ensure you have enough ILS's to keep up with the exporting rate!
It's not really a waste to profilerate anything. Tier one profilerate costs one coal for 24 coats, 26 if you spray the spray. And will give you 12,5% more stuff. It will pay itself back nearly instantly.

Well, it never hurts to spread the word :D
“But I just like, Draining the entire planet” lol
Good times😂

Hahaha yea I love how that stacking works with them, glad you enjoy it!

Almost there! :D

Thank you for this really loved the episode, keep up with the good work 😊👌🙌
Appreciate the support! :D
@@TheDutchActuary that's okay 😊 no worries x

Welcome back, PLACEHOLDER.
ALL SALUTE PLACEHOLDER.
Also, don't interrupt uploading content to pick up your kids from school everyone XD
Thanks TDA! Helps a lot. :)
You're welcome!

That diamond build 🤤
If your miner is right next to a tower just use belts rather than drones - saves you the power drain.
Why didn't you build ring of wind turbines instead of solar panels on windy planet :).
They are quite ugly, and take up so insanely much space. Only reasons really.
I do love the builds though
soooo many diamonds...
Found a use for them, check the next episode! :)
I too want a solar system named after me!! :-D *sad emoji*
please why are you proliferating the making of plates that is such a waste
