As a long time fan of these types of games like PSHOME, RecRoom, and VR Chat, ect. I personally am excited to play this when it comes to console. However I'm curious about some of the gameplay mechanics. 1stly, How will avatars communicate? will it through word bubbles, proximity voice chat, or a tiny chat log at a bottom corner of a screen. 2ndly, Most of the gameplay I've seen sticks to a fortnight style of gameplay. Will there be an option to switch gameplay styles so you can see your avatar from 360 degrees or be in 1st person? 3rdly, Will there be a dedicated photo mode? this type of feature would heavily be important for players who like making Machinimas & photo based comics. Finally, seeing that this is a community based game like DREAMS, Little Big Planet, and Ro-blocks, I know that some of these games can be oversaturated with Clickbait, out dated memes, and endless copies of the same world. Will there be a system in place that keeps the weird riff-raff to the side, and all the cool stuff up front? Thanks.
This is going to be far too big a deal for almost all gamers to sit down and make something. Dreams was a bit of a pain but this is actual game development. I think you might be overestimating the amount of people who are actually going to use this or be able to utilise it well.
@@marcika Nah, it will work. Dreams worked very well but nobody has the time or inclination to sit and learn how to make an entire game so only a few people actually did anything worthwhile.
@@Atom.Storm. I loved Dreams, and loved creating in Dreams, I spent many hundreds of hours in it. But sadly, so much of the content was just effortless memes with a child screaming at an eardum-damaging decibel level. There was a lot of great stuff, but it was buried in so much garbage. I wish this game well, and hope it does not just end up being a pile of memes, endless half-ass lazy levels, and a handful of polished games made by the dev.
I really wanna be realistic with yall, the main reason people have a minimum of interest in your work is to know more about Mindseye, your actual project can be as much ambitious as you want, an engine creation based game is not that interesting as a single player narration based open world game is, please dont waste resources and talent for little projects, you have the talent to take on big titles
@@dgxxtreme Look what apened with Concord, the devs did what they wanted intead of listening to the customers, they expent 200 mill and had to shut down the game 2 weeks after its release loosing it ALL. So play it safe and listen instead of playing it greedy.
@@chrispoici666 You're sounding completely clueless about game development , Everywhere is created by Leslie Benzies (if I have to explain who he is then you really shouldn't be commenting because he's Video Game royalty). Minseye is a game because of Everywhere and Leslie Benzies.
Bear Grylls is a terrible reference as he was exposed as a complete fraud! I love (platonically) Leslie Benzies and Everywhere ;but that was a poor choice of reference (should have Leslie Benzies name instead actually as he's a god of game dev imo).

This wont be a problem. The whole thing is soooo broken, that nothing will work, so players will leave after 15 minutes...

9:49 omg captain cold reference 😂
How do we get invited to these student talks 😅
27:00 Grey Box approach
Well. If you guys can make an introduction to game design, I can probably do one for neurosurgery... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can’t wait for MindsEye very excited 😁
Very useful thank you

Chrispoici666 vs long-time industry leaders, investors, game designers, etc.
Be quiet. Leave them alone and let them do what they want to do.
Can make a better game than what you can do that's for sure...
