Thanks for the video.... I have one of these, the threads on the shield tube broke off because there made out of pot metal. Cheap.... I have tried contacting RCBS about a replacement multiple times but with no luck.... no customer service at all. I won't buy their products anymore. There are better products out there, this is junk.
So how does the system actually work? Mine has the tubes, two with the nylon (small and large) picker uppers and two tubes with no plastic. No instructions at all although I did get it setup correctly. I do not know what the two plain tubes are for. Seems it would be just using the tubes with the plastic. Lost.
@@johnsathe2429 the two plain tubes are the internal tubes for the press, the two with the plastic tip are used to drop the primers into the internal tubes. I made the same mistake so I'm by no means judging!
@@madscott85 So, you load the tube with the plastic tip first then transfer (without spoiling or losing) the primers to the plain internal tube?? Now it's making less sense to use the system. Seems overly complicated for loading the primers.
@@johnsathe2429 yep, spot on. You have the little cotter pin in the bottom of the pickup tube so that when you invert the pickup tube the primers don't spill out, once positioned over the internal tube on the press you pull the pin and the primers drop straight in
@@madscott85 Kind of a "Rube Goldberg" way to do this. I'm thinking just use the tube with the plastic tip, that way the primers are not subjected to the long drop when attempting to fill the internal tube. Or am I over thinking the whole process?
das wahrscheinlich einzige Video in YT, welches diesen Anzündhütchenzuführer und die Montage beschreibt. TOP!
Vielen Dank dafür!
Great narration!

Their powder scale i similarly rubbish, incredibly light and consistently inaccurate. I bought a 1960s Ohaus which weighs a tonne and works perfectly.
You used the wrong primer tube, the pickup tube is not the magazine tube. I made the very same mistake when I assembled mine.

I was interested but that looks so slow. I will hand prime while watching tv.
It needs a better guide system. To clumsy going into primer opening.
You’re using it wrong
