My husband and I were in Tonopah over 15 years ago and discovered a neat looking house that was dilapidated but still had charm. It is up a hill but in town, off the main road opposite side of street than clown motel. It is a two story, stone house but the roof and all wood were water damaged and warped. The lady in the museum said the town was interested but owner wanted to much for the work it needed. Have you or any of your subscribers have any knowledge? Also, I do like the hat
Thank you! I don't recall the house, but there is a lot of houses in Tonopah, that if restored would be absolutely gorgeous!! Tonopah is a wonderful place. I love it. I cannot wait to get back. Hopefully, my viewers will have more info.
Pretty sure Goldfield is place where no permits are required to build. I have been through Tonopah, Goldfield, and Beatty a number of times since I travel from Oregon to Arizona to see my daughter. If you want to see a neat town, highly recomment Pinetop, AZ as well Show Low. Additionally, Williams, AZ which is about 30 miles from Flagstaff. We went through there recently and it looks like a neat place and we are going to stay there the next we travel Arizona.
Please tell me you are not staying at a Creepy clown Motel....don't do it, please don't do it. I want to be a borough, not a care in the world, just hang around in the sun waiting for somebody to feed me and pet me (Hopefully a hot blonde) Another cool town...love the skeletons in the truck, "the heat will do that to you" LOL Love the decor inside the Hotel and Casino. Creepy but really nostalgic. The room looked really small, glad that the room wreaked of history and nothing else. My Mom used to work at an A&W restaurant back in her High School Days as a roller skating waitress so I always notice those...I like the hat, fits in with lots of the places you visit and looks bad ass. Back at the hotel....I think i saw the women's eyes move in the portrait on the wall...I dare you to say Candyman three times in that mirror. Cool photo of the boxers. Great story of your Dad and Dempsey. We have Patrick Dempsey here in Maine , no hotels named after him and I don't think he boxes, but hes a decent enough actor LOL. Thank god no clowns in this one...
There will be clowns 🤡 lots of clowns...Im glad you liked the hat! I sure do! The A-Bar-L had so many great hats! It was a cool store. Jack Dempsey was a beast. It was cool he had his first couple of fights in the town. I should have put that in the video....Im dumb
