O my, exactly my case w/2009 Nissan Sentra. The lower hinge is bent, but I hope that part you pulled w/Frame Puller is not deformed (no damages in that area). I'm curious what happens if you don't remove that part on the bottom, threshold (which you later welded)? Seems like it is just for cosmetic purposes. Will the door close if to leave that bottom part as it is? Thank you for so detailed film.
Hello, the bottom of the car door is seriously deformed. If it is not restored to its original shape, it will not match the new car door. There will be a large gap and it is not beautiful. Therefore, if it is repaired, it must be restored to its original shape.
@@xinxianshi Thank you very much for answering my question. I see now. The blow on my car came in the way that it ended just at the very corner of the door (where the lower hinge is, the hinge was bent), but above the lower threshold. Seems like A-column is not damaged as well. So just the door was hit and not A- or bottom columns. It is very good to know that there will be just a gap, but you can drive that car for a while, and later maybe do all the necessary adjustments and repairs. I'll dare ask you another question. I know it is too many questions already, but hope it might be interesting and to others. That damaged door, can it be restored to some of its original shape, not beautiful, but working variant, or you just need to replace it? Thank you again. ❤🙋♀🌎

That's a can ofworms you don't want to open with an older car such as this one; you may end up having electrical issues! I know of such a case where the electric system caught on fire and melted a harness due to some bad wires on a 7 year old car. If you don't touch anything under the hood, JUST DON'T!
