Dorinda holding down that soprano, Jacky killin that alto. Sing Jacky! And of course Ms. Twinkie is towing that bottom harmony. Twinkie's tenor is EVERYTHING! These sisters have blessed me for years. I thank God for their ministry. Hallelujah!
I'm still commenting...LOL...I love how they all went and kissed Twinkie. That was a special moment because they were a trio during this era and them singing with Twinkie was actually not the norm in '94 so It was just as much of a treat for them as it was for the audience. That girl IS the Clark Sisters...
newcreature2011 actually around this time, Twinkie had pretty started touring with the girls even tho her and Karen went solo. After Dr. Clark asked them to stay together before passed, this was probably their first appearance back as a foursome. This musical was in November, they were pretty much done with promoting Miracle because of label issues. Denise even stayed that they held a meeting trying to get her to come back around this time but she declined because of personal differences with the sisters.
@@TC-ej8vi They were promoting Miracle in 94. It was just the three officially is what I meant. Twinkie was strictly solo in 94. They started doing surprise appreances at their individual gigs occasionally after this.
Best breakdown ever...she bumped through the break...she almost never does that. The way she got back to "Praise Him" without "clap your hands and..." was GENIUS. Karen rocked this.
THAT DANG ON DORINDA KNOW SHE CAN SING WHATEVER PART SHE WANT TO!!! I LOVE TO HEAR HER ON TOP, IN THE MIDDLE, ON THE BOTTOM...WHEREVER SHE SING SHE KILLS IT!!! TO GOD BE THE GLORY
to their spirits during their time of grief and sorrow. And I knew that they would eventually find comfort in knowing that Dr. Clark was now partying with the angels and directing Heaven's choir for all eternity. Amen.
Thaddeaus Foster you are correct!! That's coming from a 21 year-old who listens to their and everybody's voices apart one from the other!! (Been listening to them since I was little.)
Y can't people just watched the videos and enjoy them. I can't stand when people commit on what the artist was feeling at the time of the performance or what they were going through. and waht was on there mind. when clearly you dont know the artist or there family. so thanks to all the dr. phil's out there. but you evaluations are not needed
I love how Karen sings the intro the same way every time. Not the same notes but the formula of lyrics don’t change. Praise him, in the morning, in the noonday, when the sun goes down, you outta praise the lord, woke you up this morning, started you on your way, in your right mind, you got eyes to see, you got ears to hear, you got legs to walk you outta be grad about it, you outta be grad about it, outta be glad about it! HALLELUJAH
@whatuwatchingjoe I'm taking an educated guess but I believe that this was during the time when their mother passed and The Golden Girls were just out of it emotionally. You can tell by the goodbye kisses they gave Twinkie that things weren't going to be same for a little a while and they needed that convention to uplift their spirit. I prayed for The Clarks after I heard about this concert. My friend who attended this years ago told me about the kisses goodbye and I assumed that Satan wanted-
Dorinda sings soprano on Hallelujah, and usually when Karen leads she sings soprano. Jacky sings the middle note. And Twinkie is usually on the bottom.

Twinkie wrote this song in the early 70s and it has just evolved consistently for over 40 years...smh...she is a WRITER'S writer!!!
Dorinda singing that soprano on the “Praise the Lord” part 🔥🔥
She always sings soprano on this song. That’s one of my favorite thins about it.
Yeh after niecy left she would take the soprano part on this song
Best breakdown ever...she bumped through the break...she almost never does that. The way she got back to "Praise Him" without "clap your hands and..." was GENIUS. Karen rocked this.

I have to say that my favorite part about this entire video is when they all kissed twinkie!
Dorinda ~ Soprano
Jacky ~ Alto
Twinkie ~ Tenor
The ending is so sweet!!!
I'm pretty sure it's Dorinda doing soprano, Jacky alto, and Twinkie tenor (which is how they normally would divide parts when Karen would lead).
Thaddeaus Foster you are correct!! That's coming from a 21 year-old who listens to their and everybody's voices apart one from the other!! (Been listening to them since I was little.)
Normally indeed but sometimes Twinkie songs soprano based on what song it is.
@@averythomas7919 That is true; but they are doing the usual formation in this particular video.
@@sineaddyer2507 they are talking about since Denise left
THIS WAS THE BEST MUSICAL EVER IN HISTORY SINCE THE TRANSITION OF DR. MATTIE MOSS CLARK!

Dorinda is singing the alto part. Twinkie is doing soprano and Jacky tenor.

I just can't! I almost cried at the whole Kissing Twinkie scene......
ClarkFan98 isn't it special and it was less than 2 months after Dr Moss had passed
