I own this exact car, in silver. Best purchase ever, rides like a dream. I would still choose it over the newer Audi models. It feels so luxurious no one can convince me to get another car. Thanks for the video, I have been wondering how my car looks to others, and I must say this baby is HOT!
Bro roller coaster road is my favorite, you’re in springs too, I have had an a4 sline b7 but just swapped for a stage 2 b5 s4 twin turbo, I’m looking at the 2012 a4 now and I love it
Dealer is delivering a 2013 A4 quattro tomorrow. I can't wait to try it out. Has 34,000 km on the odometer. One owner and has the B&O sound system in it.
@@CruiseControl1 Well this is like a brand new car internally and externally. All working well. the B&O is superb, and it even has a sunroof (which was a surprise to me). Very nice car., with 2 3 month warranty and no outstanding recalls on the vehicle.
Just bought one. A week ago. Now doing more research on it. So far wife likes it. Didn’t know about them using a little oil though until today. Hopefully not much.
Would you recommend a 2012 audi a4 premium plus with 63k miles on it? It seems to have only the normal maintenance done to it and looks to be in good shape.
If this is at a dealership, I would get an extended warranty. I would have it inspected by a mechanic. I would check the oil levels on it ever 1,000 miles and just know it is not the most reliable.
Thank you for watching my channel and for the comment. Please like and subscribe for more content. Also have the A4 you're looking at checked by a mechanic only issue to look out for is excessive oil consumption. Congrats on getting your A4.
Just dropped $3800 as a deposit for a new engine on one of these. In about 3 weeks I’ll be throwing out another $3800. This car really gets a death grip on you cuz I love it so much but I hate spending so much on it.
Absolutely, please have it checked out by a mechanic. Is this from a private seller or a dealer, if it's from a dealer I would get extended warranty, mainly to cover excess oil consumption. Either way I would check my oil level every 1,000 miles and add oil as needed. I really like the 2012 A4, drives great, build quality is really good, looks nice inside and out. Just make sure it's inspected by a mechanic and if you buy it please due the proper maintenance for it. Example oil changes regularly, and even though it's pricy I would take it to the Audi dealer for these so they can tell you each time what else will be needed. Thank you for your comment and for watching my channel please like and subscribe for future content.
I’m thinking to buy one, I’m a 20 year old med student, I have prior experience with cars because I work on them with my dad, do you think that it will be a good first car?
@@cesarandres1288 In this segment around the same year I also like the Lexus IS350, with either I just recommend buying one with a proper maintenance record.
Thank you for your comment and your questions. Personally I prefer the A4 from 09-12 for how it drives compared to the C class Mercedes from 07-10. Both will have reliability issues so really it will come down to the condition and price of the one you are looking at. I would choose whichever one was maintained the best between the models you are looking at.
Is this version a prestige or premium plus? I have this same car but don’t have the media knobs below the transmission or that separate AC control area. Wondering what this is based of off mine.
@@CruiseControl1 interesting, ok! I’ve never been able to truly find out. Not sure I have the papers anymore. I’d imagine that this one is the prestige though. Thanks for info!
I love these Audi A4's, are the most reliable know but that's not why you buy one. Hopefully you can get yours with a warranty, have it checked out with a mechanic and make sure you put away some side money if something comes up. Thank you for your question and for watching my channel.
‘08 to 2012 a4’s with a 1.8 and 2.0 tfsi engines tend to use more oil. There is a fault in the engine and audi offered a fix back then. When buying one check the maintenance history to find out if your car still has the problem. Cars with well over 200.000 km usually don’t have the problem anymore.
Depends on well it’s been maintained. Does it show the oil was changed on time? Were all the recommended services done on time? Have a mechanic inspect it and then use that information along with how it drives and service history determine if it’s worth it.
@@CruiseControl1 Don't really know. I drive a basic '16 Civic right now and will probably drive this for years to come. Just love the way those Audis look.

I just bought a 2012 A4 2T Quattro and so far I’m really happy with it! I really wanted AWD for the winter months here in Mass.
AWD system is great though I would still recommend an all weather tire which is rated for snow or a traditional snow tire in the winter months.
@@CruiseControl1 Yes I definitely intend to do that… they will need new tires by winter anyway

What year was it? 2011? I heard that specific year model came really bad with oil consumption. But in the 2012 they made the fixes on that problem.
Looking to buy one of these in a manual but the oil consumption issues of the 1.8T and 2.0T do scare me...
What do you think, should I look for a B8 or should I get a B6 or B7?
Have the car you are looking at inspected by a mechanic to see if it’s good shape, buy low miles with service records of on time or early oil changes.
