Highly recommend using an Emery sanding cloth grit 180. If not available, a general purpose Scotch Brite hand pad is fine. The main focus is to remove any debri that will affect the seal installation. Thanks for watching!

I think this dude is just working professional and safe, you avoid the risk of the jack stand or jack itself shifting due to loss of air pressure when you supply air to the trailer to release the brakes and obviously if there is no tractor hooked caging doesn't seem like a bad idea🤔.
He had to cage the brake or he wouldn't be able to get the drum off, the spring brake was set, safer this way in case air supply is lost to the trailer.
The correct seal installer lays on the step of the seal . I apply Permatex #2 non hardening sealant on metal banded wheel seals . Good Video !

All badass done, others remove the seals with wheels on and all. This is the best way to do it without cutting corners and super clean 👍👍👍
