Tom made a mistake with the Green Screen at 1.20....so excuse that. We had no time to reupload a fixed version and wanted to get this out to or viewers. I will not let Tom forget this mishap haha. Can I get an "Attention to detail Tom" in the comments! :P Despite that its a great overview of the game and we hope you enjoy it! :)
Thanks for the review T…. I tend to concur with the other comments regarding this one but the value of LTG is that they get things out there for our benefit and I’m always grateful for that…thanks guys… here comes 5k!!! 🤗🐸🐌❤️
Appreciate your honest conclusion!
Attention to detail Tom!!! haha hope people enjoy!
Awesome stuff, I think I will get this one. 🎉🎉
LT Gaming, "Xenonuaghts is very hard"... X Com Terror From the Deep, "Hold my beer".
Hey nice channel, I have subscribed but just wanted to give you some feedback. On the part about Tactical Battles, I was hoping for you to cover more like how is it like, how smoke or grenades affect gameplay, how's the AI, how significant is the destructible environment, how does it compare against Xenonauts 1, or Xcom series etc.
Thanks man! I will def put this on my list of games to revisit, maybe make a guide - Tom
Whats new from the first game ...
very cool!
Def one to pick up 🤟
With Jagged Alliance just released, the timing isnt the best
To be honest... doesn't look much different to the first game.. like a graphics mod
i was thinking exactly the same, wondering why should i get this one when i have the first, would be nice to have a breakdown of differences.

Eight years to develop a sequel to an already established game, using "Baby's First Game Engine" Unity.................. And it's not even finished. The game just stops at a certain point, thanks you for playing, and lets you continue meaninglessly with no endgame, while the devs continue to spend seemingly about half an hour a week on development.
The state of modern gaming is in absolute shambles. 😂

Curious where in the industry you get your knowledge from especially with the way you describe Unity.
I want this game, but I don’t buy games in “early access”. To me, all that means is “here’s a game we haven’t really finished yet, but it seems somewhat playable at the moment, so could you just go ahead and buy it while we decide on whether or not we’re going to finish it.”
Until it’s finished, it’s nothing more than a demo, and I’m not paying anyone for that.
Well a reason many devs do it is simple, they need money. Many smaller companies use early acces for feedback and funding that way they can easily implement changes and not release a "bad" game. Although many times this has proven to improve the game it has also been the downfall of just as many games. I do think its better than preorders and such.
@@shanks2872 Fair enough, and makes sense - especially for tiny studios like these guys. I should be more patient with the indies!
I would love to play this game but they COMPLETELY missed the visual setting of UFO classics by miles. This looks like Red Alert or Command and Conquer 🤮
Although Xenonauts 2 looks better than Xenonauts 1, it's still a disappointment compared to most games of the last 10 years or so.
But, as someone who regularly replays XCom Ufo Defense and XCom Terror From The Deep this will not stop me from enjoying the game, as the gameplay is where it is at.
I really hope X2 will be even better in terms of gameplay than X1, which is probably my favourite XCom clone. In my opinion, X1 is certainly better than the dumbed down XCom reboot from Firaxis.
im really enjoying this game! i love that the art style is realistic, the last xcom game i played felt a bit superhero-y
p.s my name is also Tom :)
Yes, the game is a lot of fun and the difficulty is kinda addictive I find. - Tom
P.S Great name!!!
Why pay £34.99 for a game that looks this old??? No thanks!
It's about 65% done, so I will wait.
