People have stigmatized Rand. They only associate it with politics, economics or the traditional idea of ​​selfishness.

People, probably ninety percent of them, are completely brainwashed ( and vey deliberately so). The media: news/movies/TV are primarily to blame. I doubt people today, especially the neutered, hollow-headed Millenials, even know who Ayn Rand is.

Because Ayn Rand Philosophy requires you to think .
And thinking is hard .
Majority of people prefer to just live their lives on a Philosophy on faith .
Many people out there believe that their Philosophy is "the Philosophy" and not just "a Philosophy".
