    Love it when you find them mated. Hopefully the flow picks back up here. Getting ready for splits into nucs this year after harvest. Take care.

      Hey GEEZBEEZ. Flow has been strong here last two weeks. Hopefully it holds out a little longer. Good luck with your splits.

    Lifting two honey supers at once - you'll be a horizontal hive shortly. Thanks for taking the time to post your video.

      Hey Zelma. Yeah, I need to not do that. I've been a little sore the last couple of days. Thanks for stopping in.

    Hello Hello, well they are looking better with just a few to get straightened out. That last hive I think when you can get down in the bottom brood an check it an it you do have a queen I think I would move your queen excluder down under your full of liquid top brood an put a empty new brood box on top of your first brood box to give her a lot more clean room to lay just if you are queen right in the lower box . That way you will have a extra full super well
    It will have also pollen but they can still get to the pollen. WOW you are getting a yard FULL. Keep up the great work you are doing great . Thanks

      Hey Kathy. I will try to get into that hive this evening and get into the bottom. I was so tired the day I shot this video. I've added one more recently from a water meter removal (next video). Puts me at 39, with 3 qaueenless. I've also expanded many of the nucs into full hives and added even more supers. I think we have a couple more weeks of strong nectar flow. Thanks for watching.

    Darren you’ll be regretting picking up boxes like that if you do much of it!! Not good..but you know that I know..just the mom in me coming out can’t help it!! Hopefully you can get the queens straightened out and get the west OK girls calmed down some!! Thanks for sharing as always! 💞💕

      Hey Melony. Yeah, that was dumb even attempting that lift. I was tired and too lazy to go get my hive tool to break them apart. lol I won't do that again for sure. Thanks for watching!

    Still Amazed you found the mean queen and didn't replace her.

    • @JeromeBeeFarm

      Hey Glenn. I think it was the conditions that made them so mean. I have some follow up videos and I'll track their temperment. If it stays as bad as that first inspection, I will definitely take her out.

    ROFL I heard myself saying “don’t do it”! I cannot believe you lifted both of those honey supers.

      @JeromeBeeFarm  5 місяців тому

      Hey Beverly. I was so tired when I shot this video. I'd been working outside all day in the heat, and when those two supers were stuck together, I just went for it. lol Yeah, that was dumb. My back still hurts. lol

      Hey Patrick! Good to hear from you. Yeah, man, that was stupid lifting that. I was too tired and lazy to go get my hive tool and break them apart. The top one stuck back to the bottom one and they wouldn't come apart. lol Angry hive video will post tomorrow morning. I've been feeding the worms a lot of strawberry tops lately. I need to get in there and feed again. I'm always running out of time. lol Take care.

    Protect your back, take the extra 1 min to move the super one by one. I heard that the bees don't react to a red colored light when moving bees at night, not sure if that is true?

    • @Bowhunters6go8xz6x
      @Bowhunters6go8xz6x 5 місяців тому +1

      Bees, Wasps Hornets cannot see red well or red light. Red flowers look black to them.

    • @JeromeBeeFarm
      @JeromeBeeFarm  5 місяців тому +2

      Thanks Kenneth. I've used the red lights before and they aren't attracted to the light, but they will still crawl all over you and they won't fly when it's dark.

    Better luck next time. With that many hives combining could be a good option. So your flow lasts through June? You should get a good crop of honey.

    • @JeromeBeeFarm
      @JeromeBeeFarm  5 місяців тому

      Hey Russell. I think there's a couple more weeks of the strong flow and then that's about it, depending on rain. They have really packed it in the last two weeks. Unbelieveable how fast they bring it in. Thanks for watching.

    You brought hot 😡 bees to your apiary. eeeeek 😱 ??? - LOL Not trying to preach too much but a swarm of guard bees chasing and stinging someone for any distance to their pickup sounds more than just being a bit pissy. Could be there are Africanized Bees out in that area of Western Ok. I would pinch that one queen that you brought home from West Ok a couple weeks ago and any Queens and Queen Cells you find in those two hot hives. I agree you need to put in new Queens like you mentioned in the video. ---- You are going to need to be super careful and even wear your beesuit when you mow your grass now ! LOL
