O👏🏻M👏🏻G👏🏻 yes! This is a huge pet peeve of mine too! I feel like this is something that certain nail polish brands use to trick unwary consumers. Dont think I'll be using that color again, otherwise I love their polish.
I'm looking for one for olive skin tone any recommendations? Also neons going on vacation on Tuesday and wanted to liven up my non existent collection lol.Any help appreciated 😁
Never knew about the opaque bottle fact for gel polishes! I have to keep an eye out for that now! I also have lucky and day glow, day glow looks much better and brighter with a white base coat!
I like the regular la colors nail polish (I have somewhat a of a small collection of them) The gel polish I really don't get much, but now I will bc the colors look amazing. Happy to hear your surgery went well, and looking gorgeous as always Kelli 💖💖💖💖💖
I like these polished... They also have another line that is really nice. So many beautiful colors here. Glad you're swatching even the cheaper store brands.
Thanks for reviewing polishes available at the dollar store, that's great! So far two shades from this brand impressed me, #542, "Cocktail" a really nice pink based glitter. It looks so pretty in the sunlight especially and as an accent nail. You can use it as a topper or sponge/multiple coats for full opacity. #517, "In The Nude", a sheer well nude lol that's perfect for French manis with one coat. Thanks again! Feel better!
Hi Kelli - I listen to audiobooks while doing housework (cooking, laundry etc.). It makes the work more bearable. I also listen to fall asleep. But I agree with you that I hate having to rewind to find my spot again. It’s frustrating but I like that I don’t have to drive to the library every 3 weeks to return books. I hope you’re doing well!
Yeah I feel very lucky that I can walk to my library haha! But you should look into the app Libby. It's an online library. You can borrow e books and audiobooks! You just need a library card.
Bahahahaha!! I can't get into audio books either. Except for when I was like 5 or 6 years old and got a book that came with a record, or cassette (yep, I'm that old) and I got to look at the actual book while listening to the story.
Thank you for doing a review on a cheap drugstore brand! I am not a huge fan of LA colors, mainly because of their brushes and formulas. BUT, I will say I love their "color last" collection. The brushes are easier to handle. My absolute favorite shade, which is my absolute favorite #1 pink of all time that I've been dying to have but could never find anywhere, is "Forever"(CNP12). 💗💓
I have several of these polishes but haven't used them yet. If nothing else, those bottles are cute and look good on your shelf!🤗 As far as books go, I am just like you!! I will READ a big any form, but I can not do audio books!! Before arthritis kicked my butt I used to crochet ALL THE TIME! I got to the point that I could sit and crochet and read a book at the same time. My sister kept trying to tell me that I would just love audiobooks so I could listen and crochet. Nope! I would never know what was going in the story and if lose track in my crocheting. Hope you are feeling better each day! Love ya 💜
@@KelliMarissa hahaha! Oh Sweetie, my Mom had a cricket hook I'm my hands and taught me to do that before I even started kindergarten! And my Dad taught me home to play cribbage around the same time. I still have the first hook she gave me (she passed away 25 years ago) and I have the cribbage board my dad got when he went in the Navy right after hubby school. It's hand tooled leather and filled l folds up and snaps so it could be in his pocket along with a tiny deck of cards! He's still alive but my step mom is a bit of a control freak (and that's being polite) and doesn't believe in playing cards so he have it to me a free years ago! (And now you know more than you cared to about me LoL 🤣). Did you get my DMs I sent thru Instagram? Take care! Keeping you in my prayers! 💜
HOW ARE YOU SO GOSH DARN PRETTY!? BTW, I love LA Colors nail polish! (Edit): I also love to read books, but I like the feel of the physical book and I like the smell of the paper!
@@KelliMarissa you're welcome!! And you're not wrong about library books but smelling good, but I still love reading them!! I could just sit and read for his on end!!
Can’t believe you’re still uploading new videos while recovering! Hope you’re doing well! (Yep, aware Kelli told us she would be, but it’s still mild blowing!)
I love to combine an audio book with a physical book. So you can listen in the car and read at home with your eyes. It feels decadent. Best wishes on your recovery. I love your swatch videos and I watch all of them. :)
My all time favorite brand of polishes is Bettina. Have you tried their brand. You can only get it in Puerto Rico, certain parts of Florida and online. Love their smoothe formula and great colors. Would love to see some swatches. Hope you have a speedy recovery. ❤
So glad you reviewed these. Besides simplynailogical, who really doesn’t review, you’re the only nail channel I watch. Where I live they’re “dollar store” polish. NO I’m not saying anything is wrong with that! But I worried about the quality. So now I have new polishes to get! (I’ve got three book apps in my phone!)
I've never gone for this brand because they're so small and I thought they looked really cheap, but after seeing your swatches, I may give them a chance.
I love this nail product line and I've never thought it was a gel polish maybe because i double checked and read the whole label. I know often we don't do that at least I don't.
I bought 5 bottles of this line and I have done my nails almost 3 weeks ago,it's long lasting no chipping or dullness and I wash dishes with Scotts scouring pads...anywhoo jazzy is my favorite of the all the colors I bought... Definitely picking up the vanilla latte color u shared next time I go to Walmart...
I've never tried LA Colors, but I will definitely check these out. I completely agree with you about audiobooks. I don't think that you absorb the information the same way as when you read. Thanks for the video. Hope you're doing well!
Oh my God yes about the audiobooks!!! And same! I like to go back and forth in books while reading too! I honestly thought I could never read anything other than physical books but my lovely friends gifted me a Kindle for my birthday and I have to say, it's quite easy to read on it. The screen is gentle on the eyes and the size makes it comfortable to read (can't tell you how many times I've had to put down books like LOTR because they are so massive and my weak weak arms get tired 🙈)
I do enjoy e-books but I haven't taken the plunge on an e-reader yet! I just enjoy the free-ness of using library books Lol! Plus they have apps where you can borrow e-books so if I want to lug a big one around I can just do that! Not as good of a selection though.
I love L.A Colors. They are super cheap but they offer a huge color range of gorgeous colors. In my opinion, the formulas are equal to OPI at a fraction of the price. I have a ton of them, including Mademoiselle. I'm wearing an L.A. Colors, hot pink neon on my toes. As always, great video Kelli.
I am really impressed by the quality for the price. I don't love the formula as much as OPI, but I'm also much more forgiving of less expensive brands haha.
Thanks for doing a Swatch on La color polish. I've been wondering about that brand, because I do like gel polishes. I am gonna start trying that brand . Thanks Kelli!
GIRL!!! It took me so long to train my brain to listen to audiobooks! I used to have a 2-hour commute each way and had no other option but to listen to audiobooks. I used to be a physical book/kindle person but now I *LOVE* audible and have listened to SO MANY more books than I’ve physically read in the last few years ( I haven’t picked up a physical book in probably 3 years....grad school killed my love of reading) Listening comprehension and reading are two very different skills and use different parts of your brain. You can definitely build those skills up through practice though! What I did was I listened to a couple books that I’ve read several times before. I figured I already knew the story and didn’t need to pay *that* much attention. Gradually I got better at *listening* and paying attention and branched off to new books and even new genres. I don’t think I have the patience to sit and read anymore. I have to do so much research and reading for work that I just don’t enjoy it as much as I used to :( But I love my audiobooks and couldn’t do without them!
Yeah I feel like my brain definitely needs training haha. Maybe I should start with something I know and love and see how it goes. I just hate how slow it is to get through an audio book tooN
Kelli Marissa Lol that’s true too.... it does take longer than just reading... but I found that I could actually enjoy the story more with audiobooks. When I read, I tended to focus on the page at hand, and often had to re-read or go back. But with audiobooks, it’s easier to enjoy the story because it’s all one long segment... idk there’s just something primordial about sitting and listening to a great story for a couple hours! Don’t know if you’re a Stephen King fan but if you are, I highly recommend the Dark Tower series on audible. That’s how I started because I’ve read all of those books probably 7-8 times before I listened to them. There’s two guys who narrate them but both are really good. The Harry Potter books on audible are good too! I listen to them pretty frequently!
I like to call these my one-day, one-dollar polishes because they chip quickly (usually by day 2) but they're only a dollar at my local $1 store so they're perfect for a quick, cheap mani that doesn't need to last. They're also really to apply with their easy-to-control formula (and like Kelli said, the shine!). Their greens, yellows & blues ARE strainers tho so definitely use good base coat if that's something you care about.
Haha that's a good way to describe them. I haven't tested for wear but honestly as someone who changes their mani at least twice a week I'm ok with it haha!
Kelli, I have 2 or 3 of their polishes and they have been great. I think mine are black and red or maroon. I picked them up long ago at Walmart cheap. Anyhow yet another great video. Thank you. 💅 PS get well soon, your in my prayers and good thoughts.
Wow!! These collection is so good 🤩🤩🤩 Neons were a bit sheer and disappointing but all the others I love 😍😍❤️❤️ (Was always curious what the new set of polish bottles were 😅😅😅)
I have a long commute to work, and I find that audiobooks help the time go by quicker. It all depends on the narrator, though. There are some that keep you engaged to the point where you drive around just so you can keep ‘reading’. ❤️❤️
Hi gorgeous! The turquoise was my favorite. Do you know a good fast drying top coat that doesn't chip? It's so annoying to spend time doing my nails 💅, and they chip the same day ugh! I use LA Colors a lot, and I like them. You should NOT feel like a nerd because you're reading! Do what you love, and don't worry about what others think. You're a smart, talented beautiful woman. I hope you are feeling better. Love ❤️ you.
Wow! I’ll have to give LA Colors another try.. that Mademoiselle shade was so classy! Also.. you’re the cutest Kelli! Totally agree about the audio books lol if I want someone to read to me, then I’ll just ask for a bedtime story. 🤣
Ooh, these are pretty! I'm not sure if I can get LA Colors (yikes, it hurts to spell it wrong!) in England, so I'm gonna have to check that out. I totally agree about audio books - my Daddy is into them bigtime, but I always end up thinking about kittens, or otters, or raccoons instead of paying attention to my ears. And I'm definitely a book flipper too - I read Kindle on my phone sometimes, but the flipping is too hard. Great video. Hope you are feeling even betterer now xxxxxxx
Love these, and I love your hair too but these are awesome colors. My cousin Tara is a nail tech and doesn’t like the gel-like polish and I got one that never dried and it flakes off my nail really easy.
Good vibes, Jazzy Mademoiselle gorgeousssssss, omg love these colors. Great tutorial like always, you are looking good, happy as always so is encouraging to see. Can you do a tutorial with dip powder colors? Would be awesome. Take good care dear Kelli. Blessed always🥰💖💅
LA Colors is my go to brand they have so many colors I would almost bet they are the largest brand color wise and all of their polishes have NEVER failed me they last forever on the shelf mine have never gotten lumpy or thick and I have been collecting LA Colors for over 15 years I adore them!
I love audiobooks!!! I love regular books too! I like to listen when I'm painting my nails or doing the dishes or driving. I found that ever since I had kids I just don't have the dedicated reading time. But, that being said, I enjoy non fiction audio more. I also enjoy short stories. I dunno why. And I've been meaning to ask you what is it about that cuccio base that u love so much? I may want to try it. Does it dry quickly?
@@KelliMarissa yes. That's why I like the opi natural nail BC. It's dries instantly and slightly tacky. I even use it for a tacky base for reverse stamping.
I heard a glossy taco.... 😉😉 Love, Love, Love!! I love physical books, however, audio books got me through The Development of the Novel class that I took. We read 15 novels in 15 weeks. I would read the book while listening to the audiobook. It saved me. That class was hard core academia, read, write, test for every novel. And then you have your other classes... I loved it!!
I agree! The only way I have made audiobooks work is with nonfiction books. Even if the book is sincerely interesting I have the HARDEST time getting through nonfiction so i will put it on while i clean or do something. But I will occasionally fade out mentally so audios don't work for fiction or things with a story that I need to follow. Also I would love to hear more book recommendations!!
Thank you for the review!! 💖💕 I don't know what is it about L.A. Colors but I also love their "gel" polishes 😍😍😍 maybe is the cute bottles, the wide brush or the matching caps 😅 because as you said some are 3 coaters BUT I most say I find the application very pleasant and LOVE the colors and the high shine! (Let's not forget the price!) Have you tried their metal collection? They are very nice and almost one coaters as expected for metallic polishes 😊👍💕 Funny enough I'm not a fan of their color craze line 😞. And I also prefer to read instead of listening a book 😆.
I just grabbed some of these from h/b yesterday! I used their 20% off code, but next time I know to use yours! Also, are you going to check out Essie's gorgeous geodes line? I just got those 2 weeks ago and they're very interesting. Holo neutrals that dry down kinda matte. I'm really digging them and find them pretty interesting for a drugstore brand.
I've never listened to an audio book but feel confident I'd be the same as you. My mind wonders enough as is! Lol Hope your feeling better and getting stronger everyday! 💜🖤💜🖤
@@KelliMarissa I do pretty good with podcasts if I'm in the shower. Otherwise I'm pondering the undiscovered 13th wonder of the world that unleashes bad luck every Friday the 13th! 😂🤣😂🤣 JK
I came to look for this review because I've used all sorts of nail polishes, but usually high end and mid. This was my first time buying a $1.98 polish. And it was literally-- literally-- the best polish I've ever used. I manicured myself a WEEK ago and it has barely even chipped. The staying power is unmatched for my nails. I'm legitimately in shock and wanted to see if other people liked these as much as me 😂 they're not just good for the price, they're good in general.
I usually do not buy "Gel Like" polishes on principle. I dont like the idea of them tricking people into buying. But now that I have seen the colors on real nails I would buy some of these. LA colors is one of my go to polishes. Thanks for swatching!
Recent but firm subscriber here, can you do a test of some drugstore top/base coats/ clear polishes in general. I haven't found a good quick drying one that self levels well
I don't think I've ever seen someone review this brand. Thank you! I've passed by this display countless times, writing them off as garbage. But also, here in Canada, they're pretty pricey for a drugstore brand coming in at around $6-7 when compared to say Sinful Colours at $2
I had a hard time getting used to audiobooks when I first tried them. What I found worked for me was listening to books I had already read and was interested in re-reading. Like the Harry Potter series. Having them play over a Bluetooth speaker while I clean or paint is really nice. With the audible app it's really easy to go back and listen to things I might've missed. You can also speed up the narration. I'll always love reading, but while I'm doing something I prefer an audiobook over music.
Omg! Have you seen Cirque Colors Tourmaline yet? Or do you have it in your collection? I saw it for the first time today and I loved it!!!! If you've not tried it I think its definitely worth a try!! Have a great day and love from TN!!
I love LA Colors polishes. Around here the regular ones are a dollar and the "gel like" ones are two dollars. There are some metallic ones in the "gel" range I wan to try because the one-dollar silver they have is a great one-coater. Not all the shades are great of course but It's nice to be able to get a polish fix at that kind of price point.
Great swatch review, as always. Just wanted to say I agree with you 100% on the audio book thing. You couldn't have explained it better. I'm totally squirrel and cannot focus on listening and driving or just listening and sitting. 🤔😂
I have 'Aquatic' & 'Honor,' I can't find the other 3 or 4 I own-my daughters probably have them, but not my Sinful Colors Haha! Nail art with these I'd do, what's that layered technique with see-through ones? I can't get on board with audio either, but I'm old & a nerd & I love the smell of libraries & especially books. Thanks for sharing & have a great day today!
I agree with you about audiobooks. They are very hard to follow and you get distracted easily. It's much easier for me to focus on the written word. Since I am paralyzed I use Kindle. I'm still having trouble learning how to use Kindle. I love LA colors because they are so affordable . They also water marble very well. I can't wait until you do more nail art. I get so many ideas watching you create things. I have over 300 polishes and I can't count the number of stamping plates I have. I'm really interested in learning new techniques for stamping.
I want a kindle but i feel like it gets to be expensive haha! I just cant wait for my library to reopen so i can read my heart out :) and omg, thats a massive nail polish collection haha! More nail art coming soon :)
I just picked up a few of these @ Walmart. I find this collection is pretty but particularly sheer. Not bad though. They seemed crelly-like, so I grabbed them for crelly sandwiches. Earlier in the summer I bought the whole Color Club pastel neon collection. CC knocked it out of the park, so I didn't think I needed all of these. LA Colors does have a ton of great polishes for cheap, especially in this "gel" line and the ones in square bottles.
"Wherever you can find them, you can find them." 🤣 I love the LA Colors that I own. Great swatches as always! Never listened to an audio book because I like physical books. I've thought that maybe it would be a good idea while driving but afraid it might put me to sleep.
Great video Kelli! Being from Ireland I don't have access to this brand but I think the bottles are so cute!! I agree about audio books. I don't like listening to someone talk in a different accent than mine! It puts me off!! Maybe if they bring out Irish ones maybe but I still love a good real book!! I love the smell :)
I like the LA Colors myself. 😄👍 Not a fan of neons. That's more for the younger crowd but yeah... LA will do. 😂👍🌷Hi Kell hope you're recovering quickly! Best wishes ❤

Have you seen the brands Target has lately? Defy & Inspire is one. And Ella & Mila is another. Would be curious to see swatches if you were interested in getting any of them.
Great review! I have the color 'chateau' which is like a mauve color. I love the color but haven't mastered the art of letting them dry all the way lol and I ended up with bubbles. My toes always come out great but my hands end up getting messed up. I feel like I have an older version of their "gel" collection but not complaints in my area Daiso Japan has them for $1.50.
I've tried a few LA Colors polishes. I liked some, didn't like some. Had a lime green one that was too sheer for my tastes, but it was an older formula, so the Gel-like ones might be good. I too enjoy an actual book more! I also love that lightly loved book smell. Used book stores were my jam for forever. I still enjoy them, but I also have some family renting space from us right now, so not as much space for more books.
Oh gosh I gotta disagree with you! I loooove new book smell but I hate the smell of library books haha. I just try not to smell them at all. People leave weird scents in them.
LA is one of my favorite cheaper brands I love there Mermaid and Unicorn collection I can't wait to get some of these colors! Also I was super curious if you could swatch Paris Hilton nail polish I saw them at Burkes outlet and didn't know if they were worth the price?
@@KelliMarissa same I didn't either till I saw them in an outlet they wanted 10.00 for a set but I had never tried or heard anything about them so I was kinda iffy about buying them

Wow those are some beautiful polishes! Hope I can find them somewhere round here. I also love reading but don't like audio books, I feel like I'm not as focused on the book and won't remember half the story after a few days. It's never as relaxing as sitting down and just reading with no distractions. I can get so into my book that I won't notice whats going on around me.
Seriously you should be recording audio books. You have the perfect voice for it.

I would never know what was going in the story and if lose track in my crocheting. Hope you are feeling better each day! Love ya 💜
Oh man I couldn't imagine reading a physical book while crocheting haha! I'd be all twisted up!
I’m so happy you like the formula I have used la colors since I’ve started painting my nails
They're sooooo good!
HOW ARE YOU SO GOSH DARN PRETTY!? BTW, I love LA Colors nail polish!
(Edit): I also love to read books, but I like the feel of the physical book and I like the smell of the paper!
Haha you are so sweet thank you! I love the smell of a fresh new book too! Library books on the other hand.. do not smell good. Lol.
Kelli Marissa 😂😂
@@KelliMarissa you're welcome!! And you're not wrong about library books but smelling good, but I still love reading them!! I could just sit and read for his on end!!
I'm with you on the books. Here in South Africa, we don't get all those nail polish brands
Me too!! Glad I am not the only one!!
Truly love the way you say pastel. I have never heard some pronounce paw - still before I don't hate it.
Haha I'm glad you like it!
Can’t believe you’re still uploading new videos while recovering! Hope you’re doing well!
(Yep, aware Kelli told us she would be, but it’s still mild blowing!)
Sharna West recovering from what? Just found her channel a few days ago and don’t know what’s happened to her
Haha! I gotta do something while I'm laying around :P Glad you're enjoying!
(Bea - I had to get abdominal surgery!)
Kelli Marissa oh... i hope everything went great!!
I love to combine an audio book with a physical book. So you can listen in the car and read at home with your eyes. It feels decadent. Best wishes on your recovery. I love your swatch videos and I watch all of them. :)
I've heard that's a great combo. Maybe I could train myself that way! And thank you so much for your well wishes, Hannah!
I love LA Colors! They are my favorite polish brand, because they have such a wide range of colors and are super affordable!
I'm really looking forward to trying more of them!
Great tip abou the gel polishes and see through bottles!! Thanks Kelli!
Happy to help :)
My all time favorite brand of polishes is Bettina. Have you tried their brand. You can only get it in Puerto Rico, certain parts of Florida and online. Love their smoothe formula and great colors. Would love to see some swatches. Hope you have a speedy recovery. ❤
Ive actually never heard of that brand! I'll definitely look into it :)
They're definitely worth checking out! I understand the hesitation haha sometimes it's hard to know if a product is cheap or if it's worth it!
Hey Kelli, hope everything is well with you. How are you feeling? I'd love to hear an update. 🌹
Hey Edit! Things are going well 😄 I just posted an update on the community page on my channel!
@@KelliMarissa I'll check it, thank you! 🐞
I’ve used Day Glow with the white underneath and it’s sooo bright, it’s amazing!!!
Oh that's good to know!!
I've never gone for this brand because they're so small and I thought they looked really cheap, but after seeing your swatches, I may give them a chance.
I felt that way too until I tried them haha!
Ooh I'm glad to hear they lasted so long for you!!
I've never tried LA Colors, but I will definitely check these out. I completely agree with you about audiobooks. I don't think that you absorb the information the same way as when you read. Thanks for the video. Hope you're doing well!
I'm so glad you enjoyed! Recovery is going well, thank you for your well wishes 😄
Love this video! La colors is one of my favorite brands, hope to see more of them on your channel!!
I'll definitely be doing more!!
Chill out, breezy and zen and vanilla latte are my favorites!
Gorgeous picks!
Thanks for doing a Swatch on La color polish. I've been wondering about that brand, because I do like gel polishes. I am gonna start trying that brand . Thanks Kelli!
The shine they give is awesome!
I'm so glad you enjoyed!
Could you try live live polish? I would love to hear your opinion on the brand. Love you ❤️
I'll check them out!!
Thank you!
omg i has no idea about the gel thing! wow nail polish 101 over here. u learn a new thing everyday
Haha happy to help!
Thank you for Telling me and explaining it Because I just bought me Some LA. Colors Gel Polish yesterday. I Got in The Color Jet Black.
Kelli, I have 2 or 3 of their polishes and they have been great. I think mine are black and red or maroon. I picked them up long ago at Walmart cheap. Anyhow yet another great video. Thank you. 💅
PS get well soon, your in my prayers and good thoughts.
Ooh I want to try their black! And thank you so much 😄
Wow!! These collection is so good 🤩🤩🤩 Neons were a bit sheer and disappointing but all the others I love 😍😍❤️❤️
(Was always curious what the new set of polish bottles were 😅😅😅)
I'm glad you enjoyed them!
These colors are so pretty
Aahhh learned something new today!! Never new that they have to be cured and in black bottle!
Happy to help! It's such a pet peeve of mine when companies say they're gel when they're just regular polish haha!
I have a long commute to work, and I find that audiobooks help the time go by quicker. It all depends on the narrator, though. There are some that keep you engaged to the point where you drive around just so you can keep ‘reading’. ❤️❤️
Haha! I wish I could listen while I drive. But I've only tried it a few times and I couldn't focus on the road so I had to turn them off.
Haha you are so sweet! I think Seche Vite and Cuccio glossy top coat are great options. Love you too!
What brand are the pastels in the background? Top row of the rack?!
Victoria Lyle same ones she’s reviewing. She does that with every review. Puts them at the top.
Lol that's these polishes!
Kelli Marissa oh wonderful 😭😂
I'm impressed with this brand of nail polishes. Thanks for doing this tutorial. 🙂✌️👍
Glad you enjoyed!!
Hi..Great job showing all those colors..l do like the blue ones..as always ❤ watching you! xoxo 💐
I'm so glad you enjoyed 😄
Wow! I’ll have to give LA Colors another try.. that Mademoiselle shade was so classy! Also.. you’re the cutest Kelli! Totally agree about the audio books lol if I want someone to read to me, then I’ll just ask for a bedtime story. 🤣
Haha thanks Christy! I never thought about it that way but it is kinda odd to be read to (and not by your parent or your child. Lol)
Haha! Maybe they sell LA Colours across the pond 😝
Love these, and I love your hair too but these are awesome colors. My cousin Tara is a nail tech and doesn’t like the gel-like polish and I got one that never dried and it flakes off my nail really easy.
So happy you enjoyed :)
Day glow and lucky were sooo beautiful colours😍😍
Agreed!
You should try the L.A colors color last polishes. They are really opaque and that have some beautiful metallics in that line
Ooh I'll check them out!
Ooo these are pretty! I’ve never tried this brand before. Hope your recovery is going well Kelli!!
Thanks for the well wishes Molly! Things are going well :)
Nice review! I see this brand as a possible replacement for Sinful Colors since those are so difficult to find recently.
Definitely a great price point!
Oh I want to do a dip powder french tutorial!! :)
@@KelliMarissa 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
LA Colors is my go to brand they have so many colors I would almost bet they are the largest brand color wise and all of their polishes have NEVER failed me they last forever on the shelf mine have never gotten lumpy or thick and I have been collecting LA Colors for over 15 years I adore them!
I like it almost solely because of how quickly it dries hahaha. It's perfect for quick manicures.
Oh man that sounds like a challenge! It's smart to have the audio book while you read along!
@@KelliMarissa Good lord, it was. 😳
@@KelliMarissa it worked well too. I used that technique with my English learners in my classroom.
I hope you’re recovering from your surgery fast, and you’re feeling better soon!
Thanks so much Kate, recovery is going well!!
Honestly I have a hard time getting through nonfiction either way LOL!
When i let my nails grow i might get some of their regular line. I loved ur rant. I hope ur getting better. And thank u!!!!🌼💜🌼✌🏻
Haha glad you enjoyed!! Every day I'm getting better 😄
I do love those matching caps! This is the first line I've tried from them but I also have their holographic collection which I'll be swatching soon!
@@KelliMarissa Yay!! Thank you!! 😄💕
I haven't seen the geodes line yet! I wonder if they're available at my CVS. I'll look into them!
I've never listened to an audio book but feel confident I'd be the same as you. My mind wonders enough as is! Lol Hope your feeling better and getting stronger everyday! 💜🖤💜🖤
Yeah you're not missing out lol. I'm the same with podcasts! And thank you! Each day is a little easier! 😋
I'm glad to hear you had such a great experience with them! I've heard mixed reviews about the wear time but they do pretty well on me 😄
I usually do not buy "Gel Like" polishes on principle. I dont like the idea of them tricking people into buying. But now that I have seen the colors on real nails I would buy some of these. LA colors is one of my go to polishes. Thanks for swatching!
I just got tricked but luckily it was just 2 bottles. I was tempted to buy more for the price but something told me not to. Now I'm glad!
Recent but firm subscriber here, can you do a test of some drugstore top/base coats/ clear polishes in general. I haven't found a good quick drying one that self levels well
Hey, I will definitely be doing a video of my favorite drugstore and salon base and top coats! Hopefully that'll help!!
That's a really smart idea to train your brain into following audio books better!
Omg! Have you seen Cirque Colors Tourmaline yet? Or do you have it in your collection? I saw it for the first time today and I loved it!!!! If you've not tried it I think its definitely worth a try!! Have a great day and love from TN!!
Yes I reviewed it in my latest Cirque video! It's such a beauty!
Oh that's an awesome price! Yeah I'm definitely more forgiving of the inexpensive brands haha. These ones were really nice!
Great swatch review, as always. Just wanted to say I agree with you 100% on the audio book thing. You couldn't have explained it better. I'm totally squirrel and cannot focus on listening and driving or just listening and sitting. 🤔😂
Haha that's exactly how I feel!
Maybe a jelly sandwich! Fun way to use sheer polishes 😄 I do love going to the library, I try to go at least every two weeks or so!
They are definitely great for the price! But I did prefer the Color Club ones this summer!
"Wherever you can find them, you can find them." 🤣 I love the LA Colors that I own. Great swatches as always!
Never listened to an audio book because I like physical books. I've thought that maybe it would be a good idea while driving but afraid it might put me to sleep.
Yeah I feel like I can't focus when I'm driving! Lol!
Thank you so much for how much you teach us.
Haha! I never thought about that but it makes sense! Always easiest to understand your own accent.
I tried these awhile back and I hated them, their old formula just didn't work for me. But these made me want to try their new ones!
I think they must have changed the formula!!
I like the LA Colors myself. 😄👍 Not a fan of neons. That's more for the younger crowd but yeah... LA will do. 😂👍🌷Hi Kell hope you're recovering quickly! Best wishes ❤
Haha! They have some really pretty non neons too. I loved that beautiful nude brown! And thank you so much for the well wishes. ❤️❤️❤️
@@KelliMarissa I'll have to try the "nude brown" it sounds like something I'll like. Thanks for all the tips and suggestions Kelli you're "THE BEST" keep keeping it real girl!! God bless! Wishing you "continued good health!" 😄🌷❤
What are you wearing on your nail in this video? That yellow color! Love it 😊
It's Picture Polish Korma!! Such a pretty mustard shade.
Have you seen the brands Target has lately? Defy & Inspire is one. And Ella & Mila is another. Would be curious to see swatches if you were interested in getting any of them.
Oh I don't have either of those brands! I'll keep an eye out.
Haha I find that a quick dry top coat helps a lot! You can apply while the polish is slightly wet and itll help the layers underneath to dry too :)
These r all super pretty I hope that we could see some nail art with it. I think they would look super nice as like a tie dye design
I'll definitely be doing nail art!
I didn't even know she made nail polish haha!! I'll look for them.
@@KelliMarissa same I didn't either till I saw them in an outlet they wanted 10.00 for a set but I had never tried or heard anything about them so I was kinda iffy about buying them
Wow, three dollars. Maybe the bottle is a little smaller than usual? Anyway, I’m going to see if my drugstore has this line. I really liked some of the colors. How are you feeling? Hope you recover quickly. You’re the best! Thanks, Kelli. ❤️
Thanks so much for your well wishes! Recovery is going very well :)
I’m not someone that gets their nails done like that but during this quarantine I went to the dollar store and got 4 shades and omg I love them! I’m obsessed and I want to buy them all on the dollar store website they sell two different sets of 48 polishes for 48 dollars and I wanna go for it! Love this video
Can you make a video on Morgan Taylor’s new Marylin Monroe collection?
I'll see if I can get it!
I have some of these colors and I like them but some of the polish I have to use a white base coat first.
Yeah I figured with how sheer some are!
Yeah I do love sitting down in a comfy spot with a great book! There's nothing like it!
