everything you say is true but the joy and love they give you is like no other breed. They are like children. Amazing how they understand most of what we do and speak as well. They have a contagious happiness sensation. I have had other breeds until this schnoodle. Does not only bark, he also makes a lot of funny noises like he is trying to speak and the way they handle things with their legs remind you of a teddy bear. Ours is black and white and does many things as Snoopy does. Amazing dogs.
We're on our second schnoodle after 17 years. (We had a Westie before that.) She is a sweetheart. Everything in this video seems to be true! She loves her person-mom; cries when she's not around. And she is the only dog we've ever had that watches TV. She goes nuts jumping when she sees another dog on TV. And she will bark and vocalize...so funny! And yes, they use their front paws like a monkey!
You can't beat a Schnoodle. The Schnauzers are prone to pancreatitis, so that's why you have to keep the Schnoodle on a low-fat, GI formula, Royal Canin prescription for one.
I just lost my beloved schnoodle of almost 16 yrs 9 mo. She was the best friend I could ever want or ask for. She was absolutely a fantastic loving smart and intuitive sweetheart. It’s been 24 hours since I had to help her cross the rainbow bridge. I held and loved on her as long as I could. I love you so much, coco. My sweet girl. I would get another schnoodle in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this breed.
We had a Schnoodle for about 4 months before she had to be put down. We absolutely loved her. Smartest dog I've ever seen, not only smart, but clever. There's a difference. Emmeline had a seriously sarcastic sense of humor. We have a small kitchen so we made her stay out of it when we were cooking or doing anything. So she would lie right outside the kitchen with her nose barely over the line. Or, she would silently creep in and extend her front and back legs to lie along the wall, making herself as thin as possible. You could not not laugh. She add a ferocious bark. We trained her in a matter of days not to bark after the third time. Then she would grumble and we allowed her to do that. Sometimes, if she felt particularly put upon, she would grumble until you made her stop. I can't tell you how much we miss her. There are lots of other stories.
Sorry for your loss…our is 3 years old now. I am amazed how they learn to raise automatic glasses turn on lights with the switch on the floor and more. Best
@ggrape0 Highly intelligent. Mine was my service dog, bff, family and would win any one's heart over that entered her presence. Even, my home health, said they couldn't wait to get to my home to see Molly again. LöL I'd inside my mind, "I thought the therapy was for me. 🤦🏼♀️
@@marthajuliene5039 So sounds like Molly. And, she'd do that Schnauzer talk roo roooo rooo roo! Sassy like that if we weren't moving fast enough to get her outside to potty or hungry, etc. Me too. 3 days after my bday. She was the love and life of an everyday party. She was my service dog too. 😥 They are highly intelligent and easy for anyone to train. But, on rare occasions mischievous. 😆 Home health was always so excited to get to my home to see Molly not the patient. 🤦🏼♀️ 🐺💖🐺
I lost my beautiful girl to cancer in January at 14 years. She was my absolute angel. Please ignore all the reasons this video is saying not to get a schnoodle. If you are a responsible person who is capable of training your dog, walking your dog, feeding your dog nutritious food, keeping them stimulated (eg close in catch games, teaching them tricks) and is generally committed to being a good dog owner, then go for it! Schnoodles love people and love dogs. They are great with children and are the most loving, committed companions. And they don’t shed. Train them to be the dog you want them to be. Lola was the best. She understood a large vocabulary as she was ridiculously smart. And she was universally loved wherever she went. This video does the breed a huge disservice... If you’re a decent person, you will LOVE schnoodles. ❤❤❤
I have a schnoodle. He is great. He loves walks as do I; no sensitive stomach, easily trained to not "go" in the house; stubborn? I call it personality; tell me a dog that doesn't like to be brushed; yes there is separation anxiety; barks, yes but not more than usual; very smart.
The title of this video is misleading. It should say ‘Facts you should know about the Schnoodle!’ I have a Schnoodle that I rescued and have had for 7 years. I previously had a Schnauzer. Much of what you say is true but can be applied to many dog breeds. Most non-shedding dogs require grooming. There are very few dogs that don’t require exercise. The separation anxiety is very true. That comes from both parent breeds. They are very smart and definitely family oriented. Mine is a pleasure to take on long trips. 😊
The only one I could relate to was the grooming part, but I never considered it a negative. My girl was perfect in every way except that she had skin allergies. She had to have monthly shots to prevent her from itching herself to the bone, and the shots took their toll. She only lived to age 14, but we had wonderful years together. She was brilliant, not needy, no separation anxiety, no dietary issues, not an incessant barker (I never allowed it), didn't need an excessive amount of exercise, and was a little bit sassy. I thought I was going to die when I lost her. Turns out, I could love another dog again, so I rescued a street urchin (poodle) and lived happily ever after until she passed. Now I'm on my 4th poodle and it all started with my sassy little schnoodle from so long ago. It's hard to quantify the level of love, loyalty and blessings dogs bring to our lives.
My first dog was a Schnoodle. He’s amazing. I love him so much. He loves people especially kids and can be barky when excited but he’s perfect for the most part. He’s really adapted to my lifestyle.
I have my second Schnoodle now, she is ten years old and no matter how long she lives it won’t be enough time with her. She is lovable , funny and my best friend. She helps me to be healthy by walking with me at least three times a day and I love it. I make her food with ingredients a holistic Vet has guided me to do. So she has had no stomach problems. I started grooming my first beautiful Schnoodle when he was just a baby and do the same for her. My life would be so boring without my Schnoodle. Most loving dogs I have ever had. ❤
Just lost our KOKO this afternoon… family is a wreck, best breed for our family, he was so loyal and loving, he helped me through a really tough time in my life, we were blessed to have him for 8 months as he was given to us by an elderly man who had him for 6yrs and was diagnosed with cancer and felt that Koko needed care that he could no longer provide.. Koko boy you came into our family when we needed you most.. thank you for your service to our family, you will never know how much you mean to us ❤️❤️
Schnoodles are a great farm dog. I have one and she gets plenty of exercise and one of the best dogs I've had. Early socialization with other dogs and humans is a big key to break the anxiety. Most of these reasons I disagree with but then I might be lucky with her.
now let me tell you, i’ve barely had my baby Shnoodle for 2months now…& i’m speaking for myself, from someone whose had several dogs…XL to small…he’s the best dog i’ve ever had…(sorry not sorry to my other babies😭) but SERIOUSLY….Shnoodles are the most sweetest, crazyyyy, funniest, but most of all…just so smart, and good. he listens to everything i say, even if i have to repeat it a few times. he’s so patient…but if i sit down for too long..he’ll go look for another owner to play with 😂🤣 LOL but it’s because they NEEEEEED attention & feeed from playing & exercising..he’s amazing. I could never take my large dogs anywhere without wrestling them, or handling them in public😓…and they definitely wouldn’t listen to me LOL so i love my baby Shnoodle…first time i’ve owned one..and definitely the next one i’ll rescue.🧡
i don’t understand the concept of this video? SHNOODLES are amazing dogs, and a very amazing Mixed Breed. if you want the sweetest most adorable puppy ever, then definitely get a shnoodle! (also my baby is my profile picture🥹) he’s the cutest ever ughhh
My little schnoodle girl was my best friend for 18 years. She was smart, sensitive, and loved everyone. The only trait mentioned that she had of the 7 was being stubborn as a puppy, but she grew out of it with lots of love and attention The only quirk she had was to rush to the door and if it was a sales person she would pee at their feet🙂Maybe she sensed my annoyance?
Buddy our beloved schnoodle died about 10 years ago Whenever I visit my parents we still talk about him He brought so much joy into our lives and his personality gave us endless stories we still share to this day He was a part of the family 💯
We had two mini Schnoodles that lived 17 and 16 yrs. They were wonderful pets with happy dispositions. They loved everyone and enjoyed being engaged with people. We found they needed a yard to exercise, were not particularly prone to stomach issues, did need grooming every couple months, weren't stubborn, did not like being left alone for long periods, one dog barked a lot but the other did not, and they did require mental stimulation because they are highly intelligent. We really enjoyed our Schnoodles and plan on getting another one!
I do not disagree with this list, however every dog is going to have its issues and if you're a lazy family or dog owner the dog will suffer. In our family our Schnoodle has helped us to be more disciplined and on top of things not that we were Slackers to begin with but she really has been a good therapy dog and we have had to learn how to do things that we wouldn't normally do as long as we learn her language, all dogs require a certain level of maintenance. So you need to assess your living quarters and find the right dog that fits . There are no bad dogs just bad dog owners.
We love ours! She is smart, funny, energetic and full of love and kisses. Most cuddly dog I have ever known, and so soft. Ours is a mini and reminds me of a living beanie baby. People always think she is a puppy and she is actually 9 years old now. Highly recommend the mini schnoodle!
I am running a schnoodle breeding programme and most of these ‘traits’ are mistakes made/misunderstood by the owners. They are fantastic little clown like characters and give their owners so much joy. Schnoodles make excellent, easy first time dogs if dealt with correctly from day one. ❤🐕🦺❤️
I was given a "rescue" schnoodle 10+ years ago. Previous owner thought he'd be a good agility dog, but I trained him as a therapy dog (visiting memory care & assisted living). I also did miles walking a day...my routine that he took too. I am legally blind, so I encouraged barking at things coming to the house. I had plenty of jobs for him. Never had food problems, but I don't skimp on food for the dog. He apparently needed more work to do and one consistent training method. I and many people who can't get out are glad he came to my house. Thanks for posting.
All I know is I’ve lost both my parents and a sibling.. nothing caused more pain than loosing my schnoodle “Hennessy” ❤.. He passed peacefully in my arms but it was the hardest thing I even had to deal with. It’s been 2 years and I still think about him all the time. 😞
I personally have 2 schnoodles they both love me and they are pretty lazy they are very easy to take care of and they are old so they can be good and easy to take care of. I love the, and one night I thought about how I love them so much and I’ll have deep sadness when I lose them. But they have lived very long and they are takin care of and they don’t need many things in this video and they do love when you are with them my schnoodles will wait at my door for when I get home. I love them very much and they are a big and important part of my family and house and life.
Pepper was our second child. Insanely intelligent as witnessed by his responding to human words appropriately even though he had not been trained for them. Best squirrel dog on the planet. Had to be fed commercial dog food - reacted very badly to table scraps. Could hold his bladder longer than anyone else in the house. Learned how to take up an entire Queen sized bed. Great with stranger's kids when on walks or in the park; never snapped but some kids would make him shake and shiver. Very protective of his #1 person. Wife broke her leg while walking him. No one could get past him until I arrived on the scene. He thought he was two feet bigger and 100 pounds heavier than he really was. He died of some weird condition where his body could no longer regulate water. He was 16 at the time. It's been twelve years and we have yet to get another dog. Terrible loss.
To my knowledge schnoodles are most commonly miniature irrespective they can, of course, be of the 3 common ‘oodle’ sizes. Respectively you really should differentiate between a schnauzer x standard poodle to a mini-schnauzer x miniature poodle(and giant schnauzer x standard poodle) specifically because there are 3 sizes of the schnauzer have been bred intentionally so that they have distinctly different personalities. The schnauzer standard was breed as a farm dog so is more assertive, more protective/defensive, is accustomed to ‘working’(intelligent dog that was breed to focus on activity as their function), more energetic, less sociable and giant schnauzers were the result of breeding towards a guard dog. Whereas the mini-schnauzers were the breeding result that produced ratters- or rat catchers- and they were consequently more of a ‘house’ dog. So a mini-schnauzer is regarded more sociable, better with children, is energetic but interactive exercise(engaging with people and play) over an extended active requirement, and even as the whole breed is highly intelligent it is not genetically breed towards the active traits of a farm or guard dog, less inclined towards barking, more inquisitive and impulsive over assertive, active and watchful. So giant schnauzers: guard dogs, cattle drive dogs. Standard Schnauzers: herding dogs, hunting dogs, outdoor working dogs. Miniature Schnauzer: ratter(rat catching) dog kept close in and around the house and barn. The different poodle sizes have distinctly different personalities as well. The Standard Poodle(large): hunting and retrieving dogs(athletic, assertive, independent), Miniature Poodles: bred to be companion dogs(sociable, playful, dependant on company). Toy Poodles: bred to be lap dogs(less sociable, less active, protective/defensive, highly dependant on owner. So with respect to size breeding it becomes very evident that you are going to have 2/3 vastly different personalities.
I agree this title is misleading. What you've described is my dog. He's not a schnoodle. He's a Maltese ShihTzu and acts like a puppy at age 15. He's smart, protective, loyal, lovable, and has anxiety issues especially after the loss of his brother from another mother, Teddy, the ShihTzu. They kept each other company and the anxiety issues were non-existant especially as Teddy was a very sweet, calm dog. My suggestion is have two dogs. They keep the anxiety down.
My Schnoodle was the perfect dog. He died when he was 17 years and 3 months old. He never had stomach problems, never barked. He was never a problem. We loved him because he was the perfect dog. We miss Sonny very much..❤
omg..now i understand my dog a whole lot better. i found this dog on the side of the road in AZ. when i put her in my car, she went straight over to a cup i had in my car. she pushed the lid off and started drinking. i mean she could fit in both my hands...i love her with al my heart, and i truly have a lot more understanding of my Schnoodle, AMY
Found my baby girl a year ago running in the street. Grey like this one but thicker hair. I Could not find an owner after attempting for a month or so. No collar or anything. She is such a good and loving girl. She just likes laying around, not big on fetch or toys, just wants to be close to someone. Her belly is pretty sensitive, and she has suuuuper bad separation anxiety. Glad I work from home. I think we needed each other. She has been the perfect addition to our family 💜
You forgot to mention that good dental hygiene is essential as they're prone to tooth decay. Daily brushing of their teeth is a good practice. We enjoyed our little guy for 17years, 10 months and 3 days, we were very lucky to have him as a part of our family. A great dog!
This is silly. These things could be said for any dog. We were first time dog owners when we got our first Schoodle. We now have 2. We chose the Schoodle because we had never had a dog. They were both smart and easy to train. They can be stubborn but not any more than most dogs. They could bark but I would not call them an annoying barker, like the schnauzer can be. One barks more than the other. They loved being active but could also lay around all day. We have two Schooldles, one had a little seperation anxiety and the other could have cared less. They really are the best dog for a first time dog owner.
I have a Schnoodle for over eleven years now. The bulk of his life has been with me caring for my mother during her ten year journey with cancer. I don’t find much of this to be true. Due to me being a caregiver, I was limited with leaving my mother’s home. Thomas was game on and stuck by my mother’s side and mine too. Loyalty is a biggie quality with him. He does love being in his backyard! He did slide after things change with my mother. It was doggie depression. I was grieving bc I lost my mother and best friend. He felt everything and became sullen. I offered him more attention and he responded. It took a couple of months but his loyalty became stronger. Other than grooming which is normal upkeep, I do not find any of these issues to be true.
My second dog is schnoodle ,she's almost 12 ,she barks a lot,but not in the house, she is very smart and loves to play,I wouldn't trade it for any other dog,she is my everything❤
My wife’s dog Oynx aka Oh-Dog.. that’s what I call him lol anyway he is our first and only pet. Everything that was said in this video is true for us. He is latched on to me!! He just turned 1 and he knows what time im coming home. He lays on my wife’s lap and watches tv but when it’s time for me to get home… he knows!! He sit by the door and ambushes me when I walk through the door. He follows me everywhere like a shadow lol. He’s my best buddy ❤️🐕🦺
I have a schnoodle a toy poodle and miniature poodle. The schnoodle sheds a little more and is less yappy than the poodles. He's also a lot more people friendly. They are all extremely intelligent and active. I have a huge fenced in yard to zoom around in with squirrels and chipmunks to chase which helps in not having to walk them more than once a day.
Some right, some wrong. My schnoodle is now 7 years old, and she is by far the smartest, most gentlest dog I have ever had. She's never had stomach problems, and she was really easy to potty train. It's almost as if she understands everything I say to her, she's so smart. Schnoodles are great dogs to have, they love people, great with kids, clean, friendly, and so smart. Yes they do need lots of attention, but she knows how to get exercise if no ones around to play. Every once in a while while watching TV, I'll hear galloping coming towards the living room, she loves to just start running through the house up and down the hallways. She loves car rides, and go's everywhere with me, even to the mall or grocery store... Yes, I'm that guy. I do spend a lot of money at the groomers by taking her every month, or month and a half, but that's my own prerogative. So in short, they are great dogs to have no matter what kind of life style you live. If you're looking for a best friend that will be completely loyal, and love you unconditionally, then you need to get yourself a Schnoodle.
I have a great girl!! Very active , but my girl is clingy so she wants to play with me and other dogs never by herself…so no toys unless I play with them. She can play for hours and not be tired, very smart about conserving energy while playing too which may contribute to that . Sensitive stomach and skin for sure, changed to salmon and life has been so much better. My dogs coat isn’t to kinky so she doesn’t get matted unless near eyes lots of eye boogies. THEY ARE ANNOYINGLY STUBBORN and smart. Puppy training sucked because they do hate sleeping alone and never grow out of it. They’ll forever hate the crate so be prepared They do bark, even when decently trained (professionally trained several times , it’s just in her nature but never anything concerning). But it’s not too much all the time . My dog doesn’t like kids for some reason, working on it.
We speed two miniature schnauzers…sight unseen. We got them home and had them groomed (they hadn’t been groomed in months). Once home I told my wife…”I don’t think Franklin (the male) is a true miniature schnauzer! He looks more like a poodle!!! After seeing this video…Franklin is definitely a schnoodle!!! My wife and I absolutely love him!!! He is Th most unique dog we’ve ever owned!!!! He is bossy, whiny, manipulative, kind and loving…And a stinker!!! He is hilarious!!!! We try to discipline him …. But he just makes us laugh too much!!!!
I've had a schnoodle for nearly 2 years. I adore him. Only one problem he gets very anxious and barks uncontrollably when he sees or heard other dogs. Even when they walk past the gate and my neighbours keep complaining. Any help and advice on how to get this issue under control please?
I owned a Schnoodle for 14 1/2 years I would use a vibrating and beeping bark collar it does not hurt them but most of the time it would snap her out of it. If you are lucky when she sees the collar she would stop barking , good luck
My schnoodle looked like a puppy still at 10 and died at 11… now I’m seeing that people’s dogs live way longer. I dont understand what happened. She was diabetic but I feel like she died suddenly
Who would create such a video? All of the comments are positive. I have had two of these dogs and I love them. Some of these comments are correct but they are also positive. If a dog needs exercise, then you get exercise. Mine is so loving. 1:15
I've had schnoodles 14.5 years matulda Buster passed at 14,best disposition I in ,smartest sweetest dogs in the world. our doggy daycare used my pups as temperament testers
This is a misleading video and irresponsible. Yes, non shedding dogs require grooming….its a give and take. Pay for grooming. Don’t worry about shedding. Easy. My schnoodle is the best dog I’ve ever had. He’s emotional, intelligent and this video made him mad.
These are the best dogs in the world, smart ,loyal, cuddle bugs. Yes they bark but training them is a breeze! I've had three of them and they were all fantastic dogs
I would avoid this cross breed. My wife and I tried two of them from a breeder near Fairhope AL. Disaster. Had to return both and it was VERY HARD to get the breeder to take the first back after 20 hours and the second after 5 days, even though we were told verbally that there was a return policy. Always read the fine print of contracts, even when the breeder pushes cheap champagne mimosas on you. I had to really go to the mat or I would have been skinned financially with really high prices. And the breeder purposefully pushed those two dogs on me and said others were not available to meet with my wife and me when we drove 40 minutes to get there. We also paid for groomings and vet bills for nothing. One dog was half blind. The other was a basket case if put anywhere near a crate. We ended up getting a Bordoodle from another breeder that is an absolute angel by comparison. The dog is fantastic and we get compliments everywhere we walk him. He is literally twice as intelligent as the Schoodles, which were touted as being "super smart." Uh no. At least not those two dogs. We saw the first dog go up for sale again, and the person showing the dog admitted on Facebook that he was difficult. Later, this confession was changed and he sold. The other half blind dog was never put up for sale. I'm guessing she was given to an employee to take home for free.
This video is right in one special way, these seven things are generalizations and not true to the max extent for every single schnoodle. My schnoodle it does not bark too much, and has been influenced by growing up and having a quiet whippet as his mentor. He has learned to stop barking when I tell him to. While he can be stubborn, he would rather be obedient and please me. He’s had very little to no problems with his digestion except when I may have given him too much of the wrong thing. Daily he has qualitative dog food. As far as anxiety goes, he does not like for me to leave every day for work, but having my whippet keeps him company and he is not depressed nor field with him much anxiety. Actually, he deals with the life he must lead quite well and is a happy little fellow! and since I am gone all day, the running that my whip it causes him to do gives him quite a work out more than once a day and on weekends more like three or four times a day. They are both in top shape. I do agree that this would not be a perfect dog for a first time dog owner. You really must be the leader and you must remind him of that periodically as well. Overall, a schnoodle, if they are like mine, are charming, playful, loyal, and loving. Fine little dogs!
You need to have so much patience with this dog breed. No other dog breed had tested my patients as much as my schnoodle. I’ve owned a Chow Chow, for 13 years and that breed is notorious for being stubborn and aloof like cats. I don’t mind that honestly I like it when dogs are in their own world. On the other hand shnoodles need your attention 24/7 they want to cuddle next to you, play with your clothes hands, anything they can hold and will try playing fetch with you. They need constant mental stimulation. A bored schnoodle = like a 2 year old toddler up to no good. He’s only 1 year and a half. I hope he grows out of this phase soon. He just looks for things that he can destroy if I’m not Paying attention to him. I’ve been disciplining him when he does things he’s not supposed to and it’s been working but this breed is like a 2 year old child at 1 1/2 years old and prior. Complete nightmare lol but then they’re also super cute, lovable, kind, and playful.
Sounds like your dog is board. He or she needs something to stimulate and keep busy. My dog has a big plastic Kong, not the kind to chew but to put healthy small treats inside and she has to learn to bat it around if she wants treats, she also has a special bowl game she has to flip over & over to get anything out of it. There is all sorts of games for smart dogs to keep them busy.
I have a 10yr old Snoodle. Very loving and smart. But he has an allergy problem which is proving very hard to control. Has had a blood test to find out what he is allergic to. Now having injections, had 3 up to now, still scratching just hoping g further injections will help
I have a schnoodle and everything in the video is true. However, he left out the loving ,smart and quirky dogs they are. I wouldn’t trade Truman for anything. BTW potty training was a breeze ,he never chewed anything except his own toys.
Mine is not stubborn if she does something I don’t want her to. I just say no and she stops immediately. She does require grooming but I enjoy doing that myself. I’ve taught her a few little tricks just because she’s so cute doing them and she loves to show off for people. I only have to show her something twice and by the third time she’s got it, she doesn’t like for me to leave her that’s true, but she just waits and watches until I get back.
I have my schnoodle 15 years now. She is the best. They are so sweet, caring , and extremely smart. I love her and she loves me. Most of those 7 items are not true at all. They do have separation anxiety, I just take her with me. The only time she barks is when she sees other dog's. Best pup ever.
My girl, while not exactly sure she's full Shnoodle (maybe Airedale/Schnauzer, but definite Schnauzer something) is crazy, but she's my girl! The grooming, she's a country dog, so she gets tons of stick-tites (plant seeds) stuck to her beard and mustache every.damn.day running around with my big boys (livestock gaurdian breeds). Such a pain to get them out, as she doesn't like them in her field of vision, but she doesn't want me pulling her nose hair to get them out either! Stubborn, and smart asf is how I'd describe my girl. My regular tricks on my big boys don't work on her, she's on another level of dog intellect. Oh and she has no qualms about attacking them in the face when she wants to play. They seem to love it and tolerate her, I don't know why, but she's become lil' sister to them. Would definitely not recommend based on stubborness, she won't do anything she doesn't want (coming back inside at 3am). She barks a lot, but I'm in the country so it doesnt matter.
FIRSTLY, as someone who works with dogs professionally every single day, ANY DOG THAT GOES POTTY IN THE HOUSE is because of the owner. If you get a dog, TRAIN it. Now, I’ve never heard of this breed throwing up or pottying in the house because OF their breed. It’s ridiculous. 🤦♀️ Everyone’s an expert though right? People. Do your research WITH help from a professional.
Anything with poodle in it could have these traits. Far too generalised and without hard facts to back up the statements made. Our Schnoodle is the most wonderful dog and we wouldn't swap her for the world.
everything you say is true but the joy and love they give you is like no other breed. Amazing dogs.
very easy to train as he always wants food or to play
We're on our second schnoodle after 17 years. (We had a Westie before that.) She is a sweetheart. Everything in this video seems to be true! She loves her person-mom; cries when she's not around. And she is the only dog we've ever had that watches TV. She goes nuts jumping when she sees another dog on TV. And she will bark and vocalize...so funny! And yes, they use their front paws like a monkey!
@@ggrape0That has NOT been our experience! 🤣
You can't beat a Schnoodle. The Schnauzers are prone to pancreatitis, so that's why you have to keep the Schnoodle on a low-fat, GI formula, Royal Canin prescription for one.
These dogs are geniuses and are the best friends a family ever had.
Best

Me too. 3 days after my bday. She was the love and life of an everyday party. She was my service dog too. 😥
Very sorry for your loss.
@@marthajuliene5039
So sounds like Molly. And, she'd do that Schnauzer talk roo roooo rooo roo! Sassy like that if we weren't moving fast enough to get her outside to potty or hungry, etc.
Me too. 3 days after my bday. She was the love and life of an everyday party. She was my service dog too. 😥
They are highly intelligent and easy for anyone to train. But, on rare occasions mischievous. 😆
Home health was always so excited to get to my home to see Molly not the patient. 🤦🏼♀️
🐺💖🐺
My schnoodle was 23 years old when she passed. "Diamond" It was equivalent to losing a family member
@MrZocor Yep
Just lost mine of 17 years yesterday. Devastated
wow 23??
@MrZocor mine was 12 yrs 9 months :/ I wish he lived up to 23
And I thought my 17 years old poodle is ancient.
Had a schnoodle for 17 years! Best dog I ever had!! Miss her terribly!!
My Schnoodle doesn’t have a sensitive stomach or mess in the house.
I have a Schnoodle this was 100% accurate. She's a great dog. But for my children having this one as their 1st dog, all runs great.
Absolutely agree! As a schnoodle mother, they are one of the BEST dogs on earth!
This whole channel is like that. Misleading, stupid clickbait. I'm blocking them.
yes it's about the size. A large Schnoodle will need many kms a day
The only one I could relate to was the grooming part, but I never considered it a negative.
I have a schnoodle and it's the best dog that I ever had in all my life, it's a lot of caring, and lovely pet.
B est I ever had. WHAT A TERRIBLE VIDEO
☺️ facts..
The only trait mentioned that she had of the 7 was being stubborn as a puppy, but she grew out of it with lots of love and attention
The only quirk she had was to rush to the door and if it was a sales person she would pee at their feet🙂Maybe she sensed my annoyance?
Looks like these dogs live very long lives!! Good to know!!! ❤❤❤
Buddy our beloved schnoodle died about 10 years ago
Whenever I visit my parents we still talk about him
He brought so much joy into our lives and his personality gave us endless stories we still share to this day
He was a part of the family 💯
Agreed!
Do you have a web site?
I have a schnoodle & heis now 23 years old & it if you have a 3-year-old at home they're very protective and he's the best dog God gave me
I have a schnoodle, they do the most random funny shit sometimes 🤣
This is one of the best Schnoodle videos I've seen. Spot on. Great job!
Thank you!
I had our beautiful loving schnoodle for 14 1/2 years. She was perfect. I miss her so much.
Your blessed. My girl died at 15.5 from a mass in her liver. Astrid was my world There was indeed a learning curve.
My schnoodle was so lazy. I'd take him on walks and have to force him to finish walking. He'd try to walk back towards the car as soon as we started 😅
So helpful thank you
Me when i already own one:
So what you’re saying is that if you’re fat and lazy you shouldn’t get this dog because they like exercise? Schnoodles are the best
My schnoodle, Beignet, is a super intelligent, loving awesome dog!
They great dog best family dog and our pass day a ago she was 20
Wow 20?!? Is amazing
They’ll forever hate the crate so be prepared
They do bark, even when decently trained (professionally trained several times , it’s just in her nature but never anything concerning). But it’s not too much all the time . My dog doesn’t like kids for some reason, working on it.
good info!
My Schnoodle just paaed away and I have never had another like her. Soooo smart
Gracias amigo por esta información, yo tengo una perrita shnoodle y no sabia que existía un nombre para esa cruza
My schnoodle looked like a puppy still at 10 and died at 11… now I’m seeing that people’s dogs live way longer. I dont understand what happened. She was diabetic but I feel like she died suddenly
Too bad. I got one anyways 9 years ago and I never regretted it once.
Friendly sweet dogs to have.
do agree that this would not be a perfect dog for a first time dog owner. You really must be the leader and you must remind him of that periodically as well. Overall, a schnoodle, if they are like mine, are charming, playful, loyal, and loving. Fine little dogs!
Mine literally has no stomach issues at all. I think that’s completely false. Saying that a dog needs exercise is also idiotic.
That’s awesome!!
Wtf it’s like we have the exact same dog 😂
I had mine for 17 years. I see alot of people posting that. They seem to live longer then other breeds
Excellent
My mom has a schnoodle and this is SOOOO SPOT ON!!!
Ha - our Schnoodle ticks a few of these. She's incredible though, her positives easily outweigh her very few cons 🤪🥰
We had our 14 year old Schnoodle,Josey, euthanized this past Friday (lymphoma). We already miss her terribly.
Sweetest dog ever and smart!
Only thing I noticed in ours is grooming & barked at one particular neighbor
I love my schnoodle he's 4 months old and he is just my darling doll baby and I don't regret getting him one bit
Schnoodle are great. Mine has none of the issues you mention.
Separation anxiety 😂😂😂I feel like you didn't emphasize this enough 😅
I got a new puppy it’s a schnoodle and she brings me so much joy 💕
My schnoodle is the funniest dog I’ve ever met he’s my little chunky monkey
Haha nice!!
I have a schnoodle. Your right for a lot of things but I disagree with number 1 and number 3
We have 2 schnoodles they are 1 1/2 and are 2 of the best dogs we have had.
This can apply to all dogs
they are the best dogs in the world
You can write this about any dog breed.
When it comes to throwing UP, take them to the vet and be HONEST about what you’re feeding them. Like us they (all dogs) all have INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.
I WANT a German Shepherd Dog
I already have a schnoodle, but she bites me all the time and yeah-
Guess mine just different he’s nonchalant
We have the best male snoodle. Looking for a female snoodle to breed him with for a future pet.
Not true my schnoodle never barks unless there’s a knock on the door.
I hope this video won’t ruin my love for shnoodles 😅
Dont forget that a lot of these reasons not to have a Schnoodle can be turned around into reasons TO have a Snoodle! 😊
Anything with poodle in it could have these traits. Far too generalised and without hard facts to back up the statements made. Our Schnoodle is the most wonderful dog and we wouldn't swap her for the world.
Good video
With the exception of the grooming tip, I don’t think he made a single correct point. Don’t listen to this guy. Schnoodle is a great dog.
What is considered high quality food? The regular dog food has so much garbage in it…my dog will not eat raw,
