I still miss how Corinth prime doesn't do reloading per round like in the normal version
Makes it unusable to me. Has the same damage stats of the original anyways iirc
I honestly love both but I can understand why you wouldn't like the single reload vs individual shell reload. I haven't really touched my original since I got the prime but it will ALWAYS be my favorite shotgun. Putting a grenade launcher underbarrel on a shotgun is such a stupid concept and I love every second of it.

@@walkelftexasranger Prime has more mag, a slightly faster fire rate, and a different style of reload. Other then that, both are exactly the same

If you want to stack Frostbite without messing with the weapon itself, just mod Taxon's gun, Verglas or Harold for cold, it will proc for you

Yup! Any ally sources of cold work to stack it. Other weapons, abilities, even Duviri boons.

Cannonade is unsurprisingly incredible on a Tenet Arca Plasmor too.
Makes my dispo 1 Plasmor riven even more of a laughingstock (as it took its slot).

With how few dual trigger weapons exist, I feel like they should be added to "semi" section. Just kinda seems fair
@@RapTapTap69 or make some mods that benefit duplex trigger mode, but it's too early to make those mods considering there is only two weapons that has that fire mode.

Wasn't sure if you necessarily look at comments on older videos (which is A-OK, you put out a RIDICULOUS amount of videos!), but I thought with the changes to Blast and such if the Prisma Lenz was maybe worth a second look. Give It Another Shot, as it were! Will definitely slap these builds on my Corinth Prime when I've got the Forma for it! 😊

Idk if you'll see this, but melee slams got crazy after the update with melee afflictions and the blast changes. If you mod for blast with a slam build and use Saryn with roar/faction mods, the results are instant death 99% of the time depending on which melee you're using. Jat Kittag goes especially crazy
Ah Corinth my beloved! Been one of my go-to weapons for years and I was so hyped for the Prime, tho like a lot of people I was a little let down that it loses one of the more unique parts of Corinth. But hey making the alternate fire more versatile is a decent trade-off I s'pose. Now if only DE would let us use base weapon skins on Prime weapons I'd be content :P
Coincidentally, when the new cannonade mods came out Corinth was the first I started tinkering with myself
Suggestion. literally any melee that can run blast eletric and influence :)
I love the corinth! I run corrosive cold, but with chilling reload. You need reload but not a million cold procs, so it's fine. Also, the burst is for priming. With 2 60/60 making corrosive, you get 120% status chance. With multishot, everyone in the crowd has some proc, then you proceed to blast them one by one.

If it's any help, last I checked Primary Frostbite doesn't need to be stacked up by the weapon it's on. You can offload procing cold to your frame, or companion.
Shotgun Cannade on the Kuva Hek is one of my favorites with the new mods so far
The first thing i tried with cannonade mods! Shotguns really go well with them- did you try strun incarnon? It's REALLY fun
I've tried it the moment i got it, and i found it to be pretty effing good. Good to see that you are doing a cold build like i did.
I hope you'll see this , exergis with this mod is awesome but also it can reach 100% status chance , and a multishot of 10 .... So in theory you can apply the 10 stacks of blast to trigger the big explosion , in one shot
This is why this channel is my favorite build channel I keep recommending players that wanna get into building: no meta "500 gorrillion damage! Nuke the world with a single shot!" but everything requires loads of outside sources, micromanagement or inconveniences. Which I do think we have these types of channels for when you really are doing something channeling and you need that extra push.
But this channel just shows you that you can run any weapon you enjoy and make it work for most of the content that you play and don't always need to just stick with the meta. He reminds us of weapons that we might have already had but forgotten about, or maybe something that we're just getting on hands on while we're not playing we weren't playing the newest content. And most important he teaches us how to build and how to build comfortably and not just for highest possible damage. He demonstrates his thought processes and he tests things. And shows us how it does in everyday gameplay scenarios on its own. And gives good incentives to players to get certain mods and Arcanes that they might not have yet, by showing you why you should get those. All in a chill, kind and friendly template with some good humor here and there, all while feeling like a friend of you instead of a UA-camr.
Looking forward to seeing the elementaiist builds. I've tinkered with the mod type and I am just unsure. As sometimes I get a meh number followed by huge number. And it seems like it should be more consistent. It just seems like a good fit for the thrown melee weapons.

I had a corinth riven back in the day, sold it when the prime came out for like 900 plat. dont use the gun very often but it will always have a spot in my inventory because of that sale alone

Some negative proj speed on corinth prime from riven makes the alt fire so much more fun when you can just lob those explosives anywhere.

Halikar Wraith and Melee Influence are busted together.
Forced blast procs chaining from Influence makes you immediately stack 10procs of it to instantly delete crowds.
It honestly feels stronger than glaive prime sometimes. There's no one to two ticks of slash...they just go POP
Corinth prime is my personal favorite shotgun, even with 2 slots used for reload and fire rate, it still does more then enough damage for sp

Primary frostbite triggers off of ANY cold source so you can use the epitaph quick fire to stack it in 1-3 hits for next time if you dont want to stack it slowly on some slower status weapons
I don't comment often, but I HAVE to recommend the Zylok Prime. Slap some blast in it with the new elemental damage mod and watch everything die in two bursts. Just don't bother using the incarnon mode because it's still bugged lol.
Swear this thing is just a Benelli M4 with a hidden airburst grenade launcher, absolutely beautiful weapon design.
Um, I didnt see you use the secondaryh airburst feature tho? That like thew main thing with this weapon? Whats the damage like for that?

you can swap frigid blast for primed chilling grasp would still fit the build and provide more upfront damage since the companion is the main primer also could have put shotgun cannonade in the D polarity lol

I wonder how well a staths build based oj the secondary will work, aince blast is actually good now and the secondary is blast based, has huge status, and hits like a truck

You get them through the Arbitration game mode, which is unlocked upon completing the base star chart.
Yknow you could probably do something crazy with a blast secondary fire.
Corinth is the first one I put it on since my build actually slows the fire rate so much. Cannonade technically “buffs” my rof lol
Ah, Shotgun Cannonade, given how potent it is, it's replaced Primed Point Blank on nearly EVERY semi auto shotgun I have...
Speaking of the funny "Blast Elementalist" builds, been running one on the Exergis and it seems to slap pretty hard...
Running "Shotgun Elementalist" with "Primed Ammo Stock" makes the Exergis have 3 shots before you reload, combo'd with the "Giggle Switch" (The Semi Auto auto-fire setting) and Shotgun Vendetta as made the experience BLOODY HILARIOUS! ...just watch the recoil, might be worth having "Counterbalance" on...

Zakti Prime with elementalist? Use Hemorrhage and stack fire or toxin...or Fire and Saryn for both? Leans heavy into the "over time" aspect due to the gas cloud mechanic.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do these mods differ from just enabling the new accessibility setting that make manual triggers fire continuously?
The cannonade mods give a large amount of base damage and punch through. In return for these buffs, fire-rate can no longer be modded for on the weapon, positive or negative. The new setting, as far as I know, would still take into account fire-rate mods on the weapon.

You should do a rabvee with the throwing zaw arcane!
Try Rifle Elementalist with Prisma Lenz! Give it Hunter Munitions and Viral, and anything that doesn't die to blast will die to the slash. Frostbite might be REALLY good, but you need the damage from Merciless more.
I feel like Kuva Hek would go crazy with the semi mod

Wish the alt fire would detonate automatically. After hitting something, it would fling itself up to just above head range and boom, being as it is an airburst after all. Try the fun blast build with kulstar please
put this on my Tenet Arca Plasmor and even w/o a perfectly optimized build I saw some pretty consistent hits between 200-500k with some 3 mil procs here and there, I do not believe that DE'll let us keep this around for long but I was laughing my ass off when I first tested it out in a SP Corpus survival
JAt Kittag and Exergis may be fin with some goofy blast builds ^_^
I won't be using it like this because I use my Corinth exclusively for the airburst round. As a blast weapon innately with big status, it has performed excellently with the changes. BUT, this mod does outclass Primed Point Blank, as mentioned. Since I run Vendetta for my arcane, I need all the base damage I can get.
ah... Corinth, my ol' reliable, carry me thru unlocking Steel path journey. I still wake up hoping they add normal Reload animation into the Prime version

does it have to be Shotgun Vendetta, or would a fully upgrade Primary Merciless also be okay?
If you have access to shotgun vendetta rank 2 that would yield a better reload while also buffing the multi-shot by 30% more than vigilant armaments. However I would think primary merciless would work just fine, you'll get less direct returns with the base damage increase vs more multi-shot, but as long as you aren't trying to go in to the higher SP levels it should work fine; and if you use a hunters build it could potentially go pretty far.

@@gamerbread4436No worries happy to help, honestly there's just so much to learn and remember. Had to spend so much time in the simulacrum to figure out whats what damage wise, and find what could handle steel path without absurd investment.

Frostbite is, as far as I've seen glitched(?) and won't count multiple procs from one instance (IE, if Frost freezes 4 dudes you get 4 stacks, not 40. Multishot can inflict 40 at once (LAvos) and only credit 1, etc)
i feel like the way it works is IF with in 1 hit it procs cold then it considers it as 1 cold instance
it doesn't matter if that 1 hit from a single bullet or ability procs it 2 or more

I know that modding anything other is not the way you do builds, but since you still use Harold in tests you must know that you can proc Primary Frostbite and Cascadia Flare from skills and pets.
And also with this status chance on secondary fire, you can just sometimes press it to instantly stack frostbite, idk why you are trying to stack it with primary, thats strange.
The heat may be another reason why he didn't run Heat on this setup.

i run shotgun vendetta on nearly all my shotgun builds as i don't need the acolyte arcanes as a chroma main and the reload speed is just to good to pass up

at this point, im half expecting MC to make the Quanta a viable weapon. More so since its not a meta weapon or even a wanted one
I know from my own experience that rainbow(corr+blast) torid and ignis wraith are busted, but i havent tried phantasma prime in mission yet.
U forgot to use both the new D polarity mods the elemental dmg one is very good

I cannot recommend blast Tenet Spirex enough, it obliterates groups of enemies like they're nothing
