Skin it and put it in salt water in the refrigerator over night.
My grandma always told me if you soak your squirrel and buttermilk for a day or two and then could forget it's so much tender that way. Never tried it myself but I'm just going off what Granny says

Man I love that Remington sportsman 48 Chris is using. I have one over 60 years old my grandfather passed down to me before he past away. Absolutely awesome shotguns

Glass VS heat - lecture in case 10 others haven't told you already... any time there is a significant difference in temperature on one side of the dish compared to another it will break. because glass or pyrex (tempered glass) is not at all flexible , heat expands one area but not another and the dimensional expansion is large, so it wedges it self apart BLAM.the reason it doesn't do this often in an oven is the uniform heat, it expands every where the same... that is till you tilt the dish and the liquid rapidly cools one side but not the other then blam it breaks.the campfire was a guaranteed break as the flames play around the dish randomly so the heat is random... ect.

There's definitely a few issues with how that recipe is prepared (apart from the glass bowl) but the ingredients are bomb proof. Just need some olive oil.....or butter.

I enjoy having Chris in the videos.
Try slow cooking in a brown gravy for 5+ hours, debone meat back into gravy. I like it over rice or toast but for your ketogenic diet you could do it over mashed cauliflower I bet the sweetness might make it even better. You might get a rib or two but you mostly can just dive in for my daughter I just double check for bones. Honestly super easy and amazingly tasty!!!
I definitely think u should fix it up and turn it into a deer stand or maybe even a blind would be cool but till next time stay safe

Mounting things on the barrel and mag tube can sometimes interphere with barrel harmonics too. Be worth checking zero without camera for reference. Worth a try

I've had a micro shard of glass in my foot, took a flashlight and a magnify glass to see it and get it out. No way you would see that in food. Y'all either brave or crazy lol.

if you soak them over night in a butter milk mixed with a little bit of franks red hot, it will tenderize the meat and makes a better binder then eggs.
If you want it crispy-put a thick layer of Ritz crumbs ontop with a little oil.
Lesser men would have thrown it away but he just asks a safety blessing. Man have I been there before.

This is probably a dumb question, but do you pick out all the pellets after shooting the squirrels? I’ve only hunted with a bow and I’m terrible at it (possibly due to being a bit intoxicated while hunting)
Not a dumb question at all! Yes we do take them out. It isn't really hard but is kinda necessary but okay if you miss a few.
I did that same thing with a glass casserole dish once😅
