I have been a big fan of Dr. S Jaishankar sir, even much before he was this popular and was the foreign secretary. This episode is worth more than reading for 10 days on foreign policies. His immense experience is the reason his every sentence is so meaningful. No bullshit talks. I believe this government's main reason for such good performance is the immensely experienced leaders, be it Modiji who had successfully led a state for 11 years before becoming the PM, or Dr. Jaishankar who has 46 years of experience as a diplomat of India for the biggest economies of the world, China, USA etc.

Absolutely bang on when he says that Foreign Policy was so removed from the common Indian’s ( Mainly for reasons of corruption by the Congress ) involvement and understanding. It was like we had no ownership and stake at all.

Nuclear Agreement was handled by S Jaishankar under the tenure of Dr. Manmohan Singh, just that, congress never bragged about it, it was never for vote bank politics like it is nowadays.
