It was a rush!!! Fast-flowing water and intense sound combined with surrounding lush summer greenery made this one quite an adventure! That said, I am glad you made the safe decision to only go as far as you did. Definitely a better idea to have a partner when safety is an issue. Like you said, drier conditions would be better, too. it's Always a treat to follow along on these awesome explorations!! Thanks!! Keep Up the Great Work!!😊💙

It was a cool video and I enjoyed it even though I was not there doing it to. I don't know how you trust sandles and glass ect. Me I would wear wading boots for better protection like the fishermen. And a skate helmet. But that's me. There are other things to,but again you're JP and you do your things your way. I enjoy your videos and you're great. If something you think anything I say I would do thanks for hearing me. Having a few inexpensive safety attire can improve a comfortable zone. I say this now because I'm 49 and done so many crazy things in life and if I had added some safety attire in my past I know I would have been more comfortable. But That's how I think today. Every one is pretty much free to adventure any way this wish.

Loved it! I’m fascinated with culverts, especially the ones built in Pennsylvania by the incredible stone and brick masons back in the day. Thank you so much for taking us; I look forward to seeing more and going into the second tunnel. Much appreciated as always! …….🌝

Around early 80's, when I was 7 or 8, I walked to and from school, (small town) I was adventurous, and would explore a river that went through town and noticed the open culverts that emptied into the river. Eventually I ventured into them, and discovered they were where the town street drainage system emptied. That day I realized I could explore this system under the town, and there was plenty of light at the street gutters. As well as how extensive it was. That was until I realized just how large the spiders were down there.

Lol !! I use to take the old creek in the small town where I grew up. I was finding all kinds of things but the one winter we had a doozy ice storm, and huge snow storm ti go with it. I was exploring the iced over creek an came acrossed this wallet I didn't even open it took it straight to my Dad, it turned out to be my Mother's. I didn't even know she had lost it.other than that the coolest thing I found was an old Fencing Sword tip was cut off it was still cool.

I was going to say, they would have to divert around the cemetery to not carve through any graves'. I could imagine bumping into someones' casket while digging for the culvert. However, I know of a few places where places were built on top a cemetery. Interesting & fast flowing adventure. Water is so clear. Minnows.

I would have worn boots rather than shoes. You never know what you may encounter on exploring something this big. As a teenager when I first moved to my current house we have a smaller and shorter length tunnel like this that does the same thing. It takes runoff from the street and carries it under ground till it exits to a creek after about a mile. It is accessible from an open area on either end. The one advantage of my tunnel was if there was no recent rain there was very little water running through it so you could usually walk through it without getting your feet wet. Again as you mentioned be careful and plan ahead if you choose to explore something like this.

Oh my goodness JP, when you got to the rapids, I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath again especially when you came to the end of the rock walkway. The stone wall surrounding the other side of the culvert is beautiful! I can't believe how many little minnows and also good-sized fish there were, and the underwater footage is so cool! You had some very intense moments again getting through that tree obstruction, and you made a good decision to not continue by yourself, it really did look dangerous, but I am looking forward to you returning when the conditions are better. Even though it was quite sketchy, it was such a fascinating adventure, and I really enjoyed it all! Awesome video, thank you for going above and beyond!

I'm glad you didn't complete the 2nd culvert, it looked rather icky to wade in. The entrance looked like standing water even though there was flow down the creek to get there.
    Wear old sneakers.

The stonework one the far end of the first culvert was really impressive. I’m glad your spidey sense said to not venture thru the second one.
I have one concern for you. In the news recently several persons have lost limbs or even died due to flesh eating bacteria 🦠or brain eating omebas. A guy in GA just died from that. The swift moving water is not an issue but the deep methane decaying pools are the concern. Just wondering if different foot ware might be an option. From my own experience of exploring these things earlier in life, it’s a good way to get fungus toenails. Great video and still work as always. You must have some great photo albums. Thanks for sharing.

The only problem with that is I'd need hip waders for something like that as regular muckers wouldn't be high enough. I also unfortunately cant be prepared for everything at all times, but ideally I wouldn't want to walk through that. Next time I come back I hope to bypass that standing water and just enter at the opening. Thanks for watching

I will make a deal with you. I will give you our drought and I will take your rain. We have been suffering here from lack of rain. I was with you every step of the way until you got in the water at the second culvert...lol...nope I am not wading through rot. I have done that before and the feeling of sinking into a slush bottom is not a good feeling. I am glad I just sat on the bank and got to smell the aroma...😂...definitely wait for a drought, a dredge and a clean up crew...lol. You will be chomping at the bits to get back into that culvert. Be careful ✌

You found a basketball and a frisbee, does that mean it's abandoned? ROFL! Looking forward to a return video. If you would have stood still for a bit those little fish would have cleaned your feet. People pay for that treatment. Water snakes won't bother you unless you grab or corner one and they don't stay under water long. They're nosy. lol They're not dangerous at all. My son and grandson moved to Carbon County in May. I told him to check out your channel to learn about towns and places to visit in the area.

Man, 24:30 and the surroundings looked like a 5-star snake hotel. Water, soft earth, good cover. Great adventure. Excuse my ignorance, but are you carrying bear spray on your vest? Couldn't make out what it was.

This was scarey. I was afraid you would slip on the slippery stones and concŕete. The dumping is disgusting. More dumping. As a person born in PA I'm angry at this dumping. My parents told me when I was young that the PA citizens are like people in WVA.
