  • Hello everybody,
Final my new live sets is complete. Only my own tracks are used. Have Fun listening!
Let me know what you guys think :-) !!!
    Track performed in the set:
    - Essor - En France
    - Essor - Demagogue
    - Essor - Clocks
    - Essor - First the kick
    - Essor - Mars
    - Essor & Jacknowledge - The Test
    Some explanation on the setup:
    - The whole system run in Ableton and is setup in 8 channels.
    - I chopped up my finished songs in audio loops and structured them in these 8 channels
    - The launchpad on the right controls the samples in these eight channels vertically
    - The launchpad on the right controls the songs horizontally, max 3 rows per song
    - The launchControl XL controls:
    - The volume of the eight channels with the sliders
    - At least 1 dedicated effect per channel (top row knobs)
    - Master volume
    - Master EQ Lox-Mid-High
    - 3 master effects with 2 knobs per effect + on/off switch on the bottom
    - Push buttons for delay effects (3 types)
    - On:Off beatrepeater
    - The launchpad on the left holds MIDI sequences for the Bass Station 2 and the MeeBlip ready for me to choose when I want.
    - TR-8S for extra drum/samples on the fly. I have 4 kits/patterns setup.
    - The Bass Station 2 give me full control of the lead synths in some of my prepared songs and can give me ultimate freedom when I improvise.
    - The Meeblib is a nice extra I use sometimes.
    - The Volca Kick can be a huge enrichment of the track, but you need to know when to use it and how.
    - The nanoKontrol controls the a Reverb and Delay effect for each hardware device.
The system is designed to start with the finished songs, but with the possibilities to go off script as far as you want when you want. I wanted to have full control on everything to be able to improvise as I feel necessary. But it is important to not loose control of the set with an endless amount of possibilities. So I think I struck a nice balance between the 2 here.
