My series 9 went dark out of nowhere, granted it endured a lot through it’s lifetime but I was ready to give up trying the two button restart method as even after holding the buttons for half a minute nothing happened. However, I kept repeating the method and eventually the screen went back on for a second only. Repeat the same again and finally it started back on as normal. Maybe daily gym, pool, steam and sauna isn’t the best environment for a watch after all 😁
Didn't work for me but mine turned off as a result of a drop. Screen isn't cracked and I believe the device is on (I can feel it vibrate sometimes). Still great tips, left a thumbs up.
I have a series 9 brand new as a gift. I was able to charge before first use, but after that, it would not charge and now I have Black screen and non of these fixes work

Mine shattered. Screen worked. Then I suspect may have gotten water when washing hands. Black shattered screen. Replaced screen and LCD combo. Did not glue down because it suggests to test before. Testing proved negative for working 😓 any other tips?
Totally black screen and will not switch on after having gone swimming with it. Very disappointing, as it is only a year and a bit old. I have now just tried about everything to no avail.

Thanks method 3 worked for me by tapping on the front and back screen I was ready to upgrade as thought it was broken completely
Pressing both buttons. Took about 20-30 seconds but it showed the logo & after about a minute with the logo it came on. 😊
