Thanks to the AFL they gave Hawks tough opening 6 rounds so they will struggle to play finals
Lots of wasted I50 ball early and the kicking to Calsher with two on him was poor. He's a young lad with a small frame and needs the ball in front of his eyes on a lead not dropped on his head with McGovern and Barras, two experienced defenders on him. Our I50 kicks in the first half didn't help Calsher at all. Watson keeps getting a game but the consistent poor kicking will cost us in the long run. I50, during the first half, we had three set shots around the body which failed to make the distance...the furthest was 35m!!! It's a poor kick choice when the angle isn't tight. Kick a drop punt unless the angle is tight.
Nice to win on the road. The mids dominated. Newk, Worps and Daisy were awesome as were Meek and Nash. Great mid rotations. D'Ambrosio going back with the flight twice when the game was already won shows he has amazing guts, commitment to the team and a winning mindset. Recruit of the year in my book.
Hope Sicily can get his shoulder right. The defenders weren't to worried today but will need to be on song against the Cats down at Sleepy Hollow next week. I don't think we've played there since 2004 or something like that?

Actually Ginnivan didn't make the distance with a drop punt 40m out virtually in front in the first 2 minutes. He then kicked a snap from a set shot in front a little later. Both he and the Wiz have the wobbles from set shots, fingers crossed they can fix it up.

Hawks are only in third gear need to take it up a couple gears for the cats at home and the other tough games we have left as udual they left it a bit late should have won the port game and the pies game would uave already put us in the 8 now but its a uphill battle need to really win every game
Not a lot of easy games coming up, and the hawks are almost guaranteed to drop one of the next 3. If they can hold on and keep pushing tho, the sky’s the limit
