Interesting game. The dogs won with an even contribution across the field, whereas Carlton seemed to be relying too much on Cripps and Walsh to provide the spark.
Carlton was simply sh*t in almost every aspect.

curnow had an almost night, cripps was amazing and walsh couldn’t handle the heat. weitering struggles down back as he has no help
Carlton seemed very tentative and made some poor choices leading to turnovers from WB pressure. Bulldogs had more than a few poor passes coming out of defence but were just more efficient out of the middle and in their forward 50.

I'm a casual Australian Football fan living in the US.
I've been watching for nine years now. I would catch a game for a lil' bit on Friday mornings before I have to go to work at 7 a.m. Then on Saturday mornings, I would catch a game at 5 a.m. before I'd go exercising to beat the heat, or if it's raining, I would watch the whole game. Appreciate the honor and ability to catch some AFL games during the season. 🇦🇺

The Dogs managed to win without the umpires and a compromised defense, imagine we had all our players. Definitely interesting. Positive signs just incredibly inconsistent.
Well said, as a Carlton supporter I definitely saw the doggies as a danger game but they definitely are incredibly inconsistent as you alluded to. Your boys capable of serious damage come finals time. NOBODY is going to like the idea of playing them.
As a doggies fans, I reckon we can bring the heat on to Sydney at the scg, but we can also lose to Richmond. A dogs outfit you never know is going to show up each week.

The two losses in a row puts the Blues top four place in danger. Congratulations to the Bulldogs.
I wouldn’t worry though as the blues will win a few more games before the finals. Will still be in the top 4 but the competition is more even than I thought.

@@AmitSharma-rd4kb you only list by two goals in the last two games. Blues form is still pretty good. Competition is still quite even.
What a game that was. Being there as well was a great win for us dogs fans. I would say the first quarter wasn't the best but the rest was amazing. WELL DONE DOGOS 🔴⚪🔵

The only thing poor about the first quarter was the lack of conversion we played almost the exact same way the rest of the game except for the scores

Footscray got their weekly fifteen minute snooze out of the way in the first quarter this time, instead of later on like they usually do when the result's on the line. Great performances from Bont, West and Jamarra.
Looks like my wildly general prediction of finishing anywhere on the ladder between fifth and tenth is safe (for now)

As a Blues fan, can't help but think that both Crippa and Walsh have to fire each time we play a top 8 side in order to win. Hewett should be in the team, he's good at the contest. We definitely need another key tall defender, I feel that Weitering needs more support.
Carlton had a golden opportunity to go a game clear of Fremantle, but now, their loss means that Sydney now go THREE GAMES CLEAR on top of the ladder. The Bulldogs got a much needed win and will probably be watching the rest of the competition and something on television. Apparently, "Blues Lose" is on.
Note to Huddo and Howie - when everything is exciting, nothing is exciting. They screamed the whole damn time and it sounds so forced and unnatural.
Teams are deliberately losing to push Collingwood further down the ladder.

? It was because of innacuracy. CHarlie curnow had 12 shots on goal. Made 3 of them, and 7 of them were behinds.
