Class of '02 here. Best game I have ever been to...and I was at #1 OU @ A&M in '02...done. LOUD. Darrel K. Royal is extremely loud. Kyle Field = INSANE. When the 12th Man comes together like this...no place like it. Loudest place in the world. Best stadium in the country.
2nd deck. 50 yard line. yeah i will remember this game for the rest of my life. running on the field and watching the post game press conference on the big screen. Von's last game at Kyle as well. GIG EM!!
When A&M has a Defense and they are playing on Kyle Field at night... the Twelfth Man will make it the hardest place to play PERIOD. I love Coach Sumlin. But I hope to love Chief Chavis, as well. Down here where The Alamo was fought DEFENSE means a lot. And when Texas A&M has defense The 12th Man makes Kyle Field a haunted house.
I'm a lifelong Aggie fan who comes from a deep Ag family (I'm not an "actual Aggie" because I sucked at school). Anyway, in 2010 Nebraska was on their Big XII farewell tour and because of that became public enemy #1 to the conference powers that be. In other words, the refs were out to get em. This night was indeed the perfect example of that. It's the truth and it is what it is. Look A&M went through the same situation the next season on their conf farewell tour. Bottom line is Nebraska got royally screwed this night and the 17 penalties prove that. Having said all that, it was still a helluva win for the Aggies and I enjoyed every minute... Still do.
Yep, it started the previous year with being screwed in big 12 championship. I was a this game, I still haven’t gotten over it. I’m not mad at A&M but the Big 12.
I wish they would turn the music off and all the dumb Jumbotron clips they play and just let the fans yell again! Back in the day it was just the fans yelling non stop at Kyle Field all game long but now they play music and play videos on the Jumbotron about nothing and it makes everyone have to stop yelling and just takes air out of the stadium Don’t get me wrong, Aggie football at Kyle Field is still awesome especially with the Aggie Band! But they could make them even better if they just shut everything off except the announcer, the band, and fans. That would be great
This was an insane game and I live the Aggies!!!!! Unfortunately I live in Omaha Nebraska and the fans are here are too stubborn to admit to losing hahaha but In the end we were the ones with the W!
@nicblade Not mentally prepared yet we held you to 6 points and were playing with an injured freshman quarterback. It's hard to overcome 16 penalties, at least half of those being VERY questionable, while A&M, the most penalized team in the Big XII in 2010, gets 2 penalties for 10 yards. Ridiculous.
Someone's a little mad. Penalties lose football games. Losses tend to lose ranking. Good thing you don't have to worry about the 12th Man anymore. Good luck
Unfortunately the won't schedule us at night in the SEC, if this LSU game was at 7pm rather than 11am it would definiteily be this loud again on saturday
Husker fan at this game, I seem to remember my ears were bleeding after this game. And while the A&M folks were very welcoming and friendly the calls clearly indicate that the 12th man wears stripes.
It was more the Big 12 man wearing the stripes. Look, I'm an Aggie fan and I know damn well Nebraska got screwed that night. It was because y'all were leaving. Same thing('s) happened to A&M a year later when they where on the way out too.
I got a DUI on base after this game. We were robbed Aggies. Fucking bullshit. I was with a fellow sailor who is a die hard longhorn fan. It's whatever. We suck ass now. Congrats on the win.
Nebraska had absolutely no class after that game. Notice the wide receiver throwing a hissy fit when he didn't catch that last pass. Also, Nebraska's coach.. What a way to lead your team. I'm sure that game made them realllyyyy look up to you. Not to mention the shit we had to take from nebraska fans for months after what was arguably the loudest and most amazing football game ever played at Kyle Field. Sherman didn't throw the victory in the other team's face. He accepted it. WITH CLASS.
I have been to numerous A&M games, but I will never appreciate being at one more than this one.
Class of 11 here. Best game I've ever been to.
I was there. It was the first game that my daughters attended. They have been solid Ags ever since. Class of 89.
Man, two teams that went completely different directions. Hats off to A&M.

I went to almost every game that year. Great season. It was the season the wrecking crew returned!
livest game i've ever been to!!
that's true even though i'm a die hard tennessee volunteers fan my 2nd love team is texas a&m
Herbstreit is THE BEST of them.
Greg McElroy is his [nearest] up and coming competition.

I'd say his first year was good! Hope to more of the same, and I agree, Kyle Field was loudest when the Wrecking Crew was at its height
I know we've lost 5 in a row to them. But if we can shore up the run defense this next year.. I fear for LSU Thanksgiving night.
Hahaha do you love Sumlin now?

Hearing Ryan Tannehill and Von Miller on that team....dayum
Me and my dad was at this game, I think at the time it was the loudest game recorded. I think it was like 115,00 people were there
sure footed, Randy Bullock!
i wish every game at kyle was as raucously loud as this.
was present at that game. loudest by far. whoop!
gig'em aggies
Love this video. Only time I've ever seen the field rushed in Aggieland.
great highlight video
Those who have never been to a A& M football game at Aggieland can’t even imagine what a rush it is…👍🏼👍🏼
i was there
Nice Vid! =]
Sherman was such an underrated coach for A&M. He was an elite recruiter and brought an insane amount of talent to Aggieland.
My my second grandma went there my grandpa‘s and growing grandma‘s names are Eta Huevo and Tita ito
to prepare for kyle field, nebraska practiced in front of speakers blaring crowd noise
1:35 i bet those two nebraska fans wished they hadn't chosen tickets in the student section. go 12th man!
This was an insane game and I live the Aggies!!!!! Unfortunately I live in Omaha Nebraska and the fans are here are too stubborn to admit to losing hahaha but In the end we were the ones with the W!
When you win a NC last?
I was at that game, I felt the stadium shake most the time. Best game i have ever been too. Hands down.
I heard C K Esten from 1959 - 63
A&M like atmosphere in the SEC
Going to be rocking tomorrow for Alabama

@nicblade Thats Baylor... And that games penalties were 11 Aggies -8 Baylor not 16 Nebraska -2 A&M.. It was clearly one-sided.
Someone's a little mad. Penalties lose football games. Losses tend to lose ranking. Good thing you don't have to worry about the 12th Man anymore. Good luck
@mlgreek get over it. the "nut grab" is nothing new. is downright common. what made you think it was anything different or unusual?
Unfortunately the won't schedule us at night in the SEC, if this LSU game was at 7pm rather than 11am it would definiteily be this loud again on saturday
First deck 30 yard line... amazing game... it was SO loud O.O
I still remember this game. I could not hear myself think even on third deck!
still upset about game time... but we can do it in the morning too
i feel bad for martinez he had a great season that year but he was injured
@skmh2010 Me too I was at the very top of the north end zone
Husker fan at this game, I seem to remember my ears were bleeding after this game. And while the A&M folks were very welcoming and friendly the calls clearly indicate that the 12th man wears stripes.

2nd deck! HOLLA! Best game i have ever seen!
Extremely loud. I was on the track seats.
I got a DUI on base after this game. We were robbed Aggies. Fucking bullshit. I was with a fellow sailor who is a die hard longhorn fan. It's whatever. We suck ass now. Congrats on the win.
@alamoaggie they are probaly students
@MrDEJstone first deck - 50 yard line here
I was there too. That game was freaking tense.
Couldn't agree with you more.
i hate nebraska but i love a&m
SEC like atmosphere at A&M.
Cotton with 2 15 yd penalties on one play.... Jeez.
Makes a difference when the Aggie defender was grabbing his junk yet the official missed it.
Ear-Splittingly loud
I can only hope coach Sumlin does the same these next few seasons.
How'ed that work out?
I was there....
12th man? refssss

@mlgreek most of the calls were correct. i only saw 2 penalties that were questionable. the reason nebraska lost is because they weren't as good.
Back when I was a t.u fan. 😩
Same brother I was missing out😭
BTHnu
You have class, my friend. Thank you.
What a night? Sure A&M won 9-6 That boring
not really when you hold a #9 team to 6 points
