I have to say that my favourite part of this was that I had Petrus as my other follower and had finished his quests at the time the romance kicked off, so once Kurt and I emerged from the bedroom Petrus was just standing on the stairs like he wanted to do his father-figure duty and have serious words with Kurt before things went any further.
Me: Imma just play this game, have a good time, and not get crazy hung up on any video game romances. Boots up game: Yes, I know I have a clearly defined “type” (serious, principled, warrior type boyscouts with a bit of a stick up their butt who are nonetheless endearingly awkward in love), but it’s cool. I’m sure there’s no one in this game like that... Literally 3 minutes into the game: ...................uh oh......

It's been confirmed that De Sardet is 25, Constantin's 26, Aphra is 27, Siora is 22, Petrus is 57, and Kurt is 35! It was confirmed by Jehanne Rousseau on Twitter. So they have a 10 year age gap.

I love Kurt and plan to romance him, but it annoys me that every time I have him and Siora together, he'll call Siora "pretty flower" or "pretty she-wolf", and doesn't have any terms of endearment for my De Sardet. Poor De Sardet is standing there like "I thought you and I had something going!", lol.

I was doing the ghost camp quest and when I wanted to press E to open a door, my camera view accidentally tilted more to Kurt. So I didn't pay attention to his dialogue because in the same time I was looking at my phone. I thought he wanted to meet for something private and when I accepted and he said about meeting at our bedroom... my curiosity got the best of me. For me, I really think of Kurt as my best friend. Master of arms who is dear to me but not to the level of... love as lover. So I tried the romance with him and honestly the nickname he gave to me...made me laugh especially when I spammed talking him XD Idk. Maybe it's because of his rough-raspy like voice and the cute nickname that tickled me? 😂 So yeah right after that scene I quickly reload back to the ghost camp. I didn't mind to replay the 2hours playthrough lmao

I never upset him and flirted as much as possible in the dialogs, but I don’t have any options in the dialogue for a romance with him. The main quest is already at the stage of "Testing with water" and "Search for Constantine." Maybe there are some other conditions?
Unfortunately, it is enough to miss an answer and the romance ends before it starts. Often you don't lose reputation with him, but you still gave the wrong answer

Hi I've been a sub of your page for awhile love it I used your dragon age vids to help me out a lot how do you like greedfall so far and is the comparison accurate to DA for you.
I tell you what I think, from a DA lover. Greedfall is a nice game with some flaws, the system of companions and romance is clearly inspired by DA, but it is much less central and detailed, this does not mean that it is not interesting. Your companions are not the main part of the game, which I always find in DA, (except maybe Constantine who is the character I loved most in the game, but he is not a romance option :/). However, if you liked Inquisition, I would recommend it, because it is clear that Spiders wants to bring games that are reminiscent of DA and for me we should encourage it (sorry for my bad english)
I hate the fact that we can't be with him as male De Sardet! I friendzone Vasco because I thought I could be with Kurt, but OH WELL... Might as well be Siora at the end.
I really wish they could do even more better in romance system like what The Witcher 3 has or even Dragon Age Inquisition. What I like in The Witcher 3 (not count expansions) is how well-made cutscenes with many sequences with amazing quests that we can truly spend together with the one we want (Triss or Yen). It show a lot charisma to not only them but also on Geralt. Not just dialogues. About the Inquisition is the amount of companions with some of them is really great to have moments with, and in the aftermath (on base game, not count DLC), we can still kiss them and take them out doing some left quests. I really wish one day, I could see a game that can blend well romance system like that together. I know that also asking a lot of effort to make it right. But it is really nice to have a developer that could reach each system as good right?
The thing is this is an extremely small studio that took a gamble. I mean its impressive they manage to get an ok game. Lets just buy their games and hopefully greedfall 1 would be the same story of witcher 1. A wonky start to an epic series
The Coup does still happen, but if you’ve completed Kurt’s first two loyalty missions before The Prince’s Secret, once he learns of it, he warns you about what’s happening and saves your life. In addition to opening his eyes to the true nature of his commander, and proving your genuine friendship to him, his missions force him to vicariously relive a really dark chapter in his own life and consider how it’s still affecting him. So when his orders come down, he’s able to be true to who he really is instead of what he was made and manipulated to be. Very dramatic, but moving. Especially when you learn the “extra” stuff he was subjected too at the end of his third quest.
