I remember when my folks lived in AZ, Dick was there neighbors down the road, we eventually got to meet him, his son Berry, Daughter Stacy his whole family is so Delightful, kind wonderful and sweet as Honey! We love them FOREVER!❤️💐

The Dick Van Dyke Show, as comedy series, was an overwhelming success. And it was a hit without all the profanity, vulgarity, blasphemy and immorality that’s found in today’s sitcoms. It's sad how far Hollywood has digressed from its roots. 😪

Is any other channel going to show this again? Our CBS station is under a bad contract issue, so we can't get this from the area in San Antonio. Some of us can't afford Paramount options.

This was a fantastic tribute. The only downside was when the two talent free actresses from that unfunny cbs sitcom about black and white neighbors performed a song routine.
I guess they did their best.

I love Dick Van Dyke, having grown up watching the Dick Van Dyke show. He was an amazingly good comedic actor. However, I was bored with this special. Seems like it skipped over his various performances way too fast, and why on earth have Jason Alexander performing musical numbers? As far as I know, he is not a singer or a dancer. Found myself fast forwarding thru about 75% of this special, and was glad when it was over.
I believe he works on Broadway.
@@karenharris722- Well, it appears I stand corrected! Just found this line about him when I googled him: "Alexander began his acting career on the New York stage and is an accomplished singer and dancer."
My bad!
Need to just change my take on him and simply say that I didn't care for the performances.
